Los Angeles, May 11 (IANS) Anchor-producer Ryan Seacrest is in talks to return as the host of singing reality show "American Idol" for its reboot.
According to sources, the producers are asking Seacreast to return and are hoping to nail down a look that's "authentic and most like the original", reports variety.com.
"Conversations with producers about his potential involvement are in the early stages. There is a lot to work through given his other priorities and commitments," a source said.
"Ryan has a lot of affection for 'American Idol' given the show's significance to his career, and it taps into the things he loves -- a live show, pop music, and discovering new talent," the source added.
