Los Angeles, Apr 29 (PTI) Singer-actress Selena Gomez says she is in a happy and content place both in her personal and professional life.
The 26-year-old songstress, who is also the producer of new show "13 Reasons Why", feels more independent now that show is on air after delays, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"You know, my personal life, and my family and my friends, I'm just, I'm in a really happy place. It's been good... I think it's empowering when you're able to do things on your own," says Gomez.
The "It Ain't Me" singer says the series holds a special place in her heart.
"'13 Reasons Why' was a really big moment for me, just because we had the book for seven years and we worked so hard on it," says Gomez.
