TCS net up 8.6 per cent in 2016-17Mumbai, April 18 (IANS) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) posted Rs 26,289 crore net profit for 2016-17, registering 8.6 per cent over last year growth in rupee terms.

In a regulatory filing on the BSE on Tuesday, the Indian IT major said revenue for the fiscal under review also grew 8.6 per cent to Rs 117,966 crore.

The growth was 8.3 per cent in constant currency with dollar rate at Rs.64.85 as on March 31 and volume growth 8.5 per cent.

 

Under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), net income for the fiscal grew 6.2 per cent over last year to $3.92 billion and gross revenue 6.2 per cent to $17.58 billion.
