New Delhi, April 5 (IANS) The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was on Wednesday apprised of MoU signed with Ferrovie Dello Stato Italiane of Italy on January 31 this year on technical cooperation in railway sector, a cabinet communique said.
According to the communique, the MoU will provide a platform to Indian Railways to interact and share the latest developments and knowledge in the railway sector to promote safety, efficiency and sustainability.
It will also facilitate exchange of information, experts meetings, seminars, technical visits and implementation of jointly agreed cooperation, projects.
