New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) Samajwadi Party MP Naresh Agrawal on Monday sought to question any airlines' power to ban any Member of Parliament from flying but was disallowed by the presiding officer.
As Agrawal tried to raise the issue during Zero Hour, he was, however, not allowed to speak on the matter by Deputy Chairman P.J. Kurien, on the grounds that the member in question does not belong to the house.
Air India and all private carriers have refused to fly Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad after he repeatedly hit an Air India employee with a slipper last week.
