New Delhi, March 22 (IANS) A 42-year-old man was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants in south Delhi, police said on Wednesday.
Mahender of Khanpur J.J colony was sitting at a gambling place owned by his friend Raju when the unidentified youths, suspected to be from Madangir area, fired two rounds at him around 8 p.m.
He was declared brought dead to a nearby hospital.
"Mahender had no personal animity with anyone. The assailants may have come to kill Raju but hit Mahender instead," a local resident told IANS.
