Los Angeles, Feb 11 (PTI) Producers of the singing reality TV show "American Idol" are in talks to get the reboot of the hit series.
However, the catch is the show will return on NBC, instead of Fox, reported Entertainment Weekly.
The network is trying its best to get the iconic singing competition under its belt, which dominated the Nielsen ratings for years before it was cancelled in 2016.
However, sources say the deal with the Fremantle Media is unlikely to take place as NBC already has successful shows like "The Voice" and "America's Got Talent" in its kitty.
