New Delhi, Feb 8 (IANS) Senior IPS officer Karnal Singh has been appointed Director of the Enforcement Directorate, it was announced on Wednesday.
The Appointments Committee of the cabinet approved the decision. Singh is an Indian Police Service officer of the 1984 batch belonging to the AGMUT cadre.
He will hold the post for two years from the date of assumption of charge, an official statement said.
