Los Angeles, Feb 2 (PTI) Veteran actor Alan Thicke's son Carter has remembered him as the "perfect dad".
The 19-year-old son of the "Growing Pains" star was playing hockey with his dad when the star collapsed at Pickwick Gardens ice skating rink in Burbank, California, last month and later died in hospital, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"The ambulance came and the paramedics had stabilised him and everything seemed fine. I got to give him a hug and said, 'I love you,' and that was the last time I saw him. He was like the perfect dad," Carter said.
The actor was 69 when he passed away from a ruptured aorta after doctors at Providence St Joseph's medical facility were unable to successfully perform surgery to open up the area around the heart and the lungs.
