Los Angeles, Jan 30 (PTI) With production on "Avengers: Infinity War" kicking off, actress Pom Klementieff has been confirmed to join the massive Marvel cast.
Klementieff, who will first appear as the alien Mantis in the upcoming film "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2", will reprise her role in the third Avengers movie.
"She has never really experienced social interaction.
Everything she learns about dealing with people, she learns from the Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a very weird group to learn your social intricacies from," executive producer Jonathan Schwartz told Entertainment Weekly of Mantis.
Klementieff, 30, also took to Instagram to post a pic of herself wearing an "Avengers: Infinity War" winter hat in which she included the #infinitywar hashtag.
"Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2" will hit the US theatres on May 5 this year, while "Avengers: Infinity War" will open on May 4 next year.
