Chennai, Jan 7 (IANS) After working together in last year's Tamil actioner "Rekka", actors Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon have teamed up again for upcoming romantic actioner "Karuppan", to be directed by Paneer Selvam.
"We go on floors from January 11. The film will be predominantly shot in and around Madurai and Theni. aKaruppan' is the title we have finalised," Selvam told IANS.
With nearly half a dozen projects already in his kitty for 2017, Vijay Sethupathi is going to have an extremely packed year.
Last year, he had six releases and looks like the momentum will continue in 2017.
The film was originally supposed to feature Ritika Singh, but for unknown reasons Lakshmi Menon was eventually signed on.
D. Imman has been roped in to compose the music.
