Colombo, Jan 4 (IANS) Sri Lanka's cabinet on Wednesday approved to launch a national programme to protect children from various threats, Cabinet spokesperson Rajitha Senaratne said.
Senaratne said it had been decided to implement the "Let's Protect Children" programme from 2017 to 2019, reported Xinhua news agency.
The programme will cover crime, health, nutrition and welfare, personality development, education and life skills.
