London, Dec 4 (PTI) Country star Blake Shelton has heaped praise on girlfriend Gwen Stefani, insisting she is exactly what he needed after his marriage to Miranda Lambert ended in the summer of 2015.
Shelton and Lambert quietly divorced in July, 2015, and the former said he couldn't have imagined he'd fall in love so quickly with such a "good human being" just months later, reported Contactmusic.
Shelton and Stefani hit it off while judging US TV talent show "The Voice" and now a year later, he's still pinching himself as he plans a second Christmas with his "hot" girlfriend.
"It's been just an eye-opener to be with somebody like her... You think Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, (but) she is literally maybe the most normal person that I've ever met in my life.
"It's been good for me to be with somebody that's so grounded and just a good human being with a great heart. And she's hot! Have you seen her?" Shelton said.
