Hero Surya earlier worked for the film Kaakha Kaakha which has been directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and which has been remade in Telugu as Garshana. The film was produced by Kalaipuli S. Dhanu and was highly successful at the Kollywood box office.
According to the social media chatter, both the actor and the director are planning for the sequel of the movie which would be again produced by Kalaipuli.
The film would go onto sets soon after the completion of Suriya's prior commitments. The actor is currently waiting for the release of his film S-3 which is going to be the sequel of Singham.
