Los Angeles, Aug 21 (PTI) "Wonder Woman" star Lynda Carter has started working on "Supergirl".
Melissa Benoist, who plays the lead role, took to Instagram to share an adorable picture of 65-year-old Carter's first day on set.
"Met a wonderful woman today @reallyndacarter," Benoist captioned the photo.
The veteran actress also expressed her excitement on Twitter.
"Having so much fun filming Supergirl on The CW with Melissa Benoist! I'm excited!" she wrote.
Carter will be playing the president of the United States on Supergirl, appearing in multiple episodes of the upcoming sophomore season. She will make her debut in episode three.
