London, Aug 21 (PTI) Actor John Kraskinski says parenting has taught him a lot in his life and made him understand the true meaning of relationships.
The 36-year-old "The Office" star, who welcomed his second child, a baby girl, with actress wife Emily Blunt this June, revealed how his first daughter helped him act in his upcoming film "The Hollars", reported Hello! magazine.
"We started shooting the movie when my daughter was four-and-half-months-old, and I've got to say that, had I shot this five months before, that it would have been a totally different movie.
"All the cliches of parenting are true and you feel all sort of new things. It was really this new existential magnet that you feel draw to your family and you understand your parents more, you understand your brothers' relationships more, you understand even your family's name. That you are from somewhere," he said.
The father of two girls, said his eldest daughter adores her baby sister and they share a great bond with one another.
"She's amazing. She really loves the baby. I mean when a two-and-a-half-year-old hugs a newborn baby it's one of the cutest things you will ever see," he added.
Kraskinski and Blunt got married in 2010 and have two daughters, Hazel (first child) and two-months-old, Violet.
