Madrid, July 25 (IANS) Capital football club Atletico Madrid is currently negotiating with Sevilla to sign French forward Kevin Gameiro for 30 million euros ($33 million), in addition to an extra five million euros ($5.4 million) as variables, as well as transferring Argentine Luciano Vietto to Sevilla on loan, according to news reports on Monday.
Radio Sevilla noted that the club wants to sign Vietto as part of Gameiro's deal, with an option of permanent purchase, reports Efe.
Sevilla previously said that it will not give up Gameiro unless there is a club capable of paying the player's exit clause of 40 million euros ($44 million), and including Vietto in the deal could actually help finalise it.
