London, Jul 1 (PTI) Veteran actress Judi Dench has finally got her first tattoo.
The 81-year-old actress was gifted the body art from her daughter Finty, for her latest birthday, reported Mirror.
The Oscar-winning actress got her favourite motto, "Carpe Diem," inked on her wrist.
"That's my motto: Seize the day. Finty gave it to me for my 81st birthday - she's wonderful with surprises."
However, Judi was mocked by her colleagues who believed the quote to mean something entirely different.
"Mind you the company of 'A Winter's Tale', which I was doing at the time, used to say that it said fish of the day.
