Kabali teaser has been creating a storm on the internet with almost 1.2 crores hits in first 4 days of its release. With this happening, some Telugu producers are ready to offer a mighty price to the movies Telugu version. However, distributors from Telugu arena are throwing a warning to Kabali makers that they might hurdle the films release here.
During the flop show of Rajinikanth's animation film Kochadaiyaan in Telugu, which released as Vikramasimha, distributors are promised to be returned nearly 7 crores of money. Directed by Rajini's younger daughter Soundarya, the film failed to live up to expectations despite hitting screens after a long delay. This massive failure led to distributors losing 75% of their investment and the makers promised to return half of invested money. But till date, we hear that not a single paisa is returned and that is what making distributors angry.
Only if the settlement is made, we will allow the release of Kabali. Else, the situation will be tough for them, said a distributor, who is expecting the returns.
