Los Angeles, April 14 (IANS) Actress Debby Ryan, best known for starring as Jessie Prescott in the Disney Channel Original Series "Jessie", has been arrested for drunk driving.
Ryan was taken into custody here for suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) after she was in a car crash last week, reports tmz.com.
The driver of the other car was reportedly injured, although not seriously.
Ryan reportedly took a left in her Audi before slamming it into a Mercedes. She was taken to jail after failing a field sobriety test. She has since been released on a $100,000 bail.
Ryan plays a recurring role on the second season of NBC's procedural dramedy series "The Mysteries of Laura". She joins Debra Messing and Josh Lucas among others.
