Mumbai, March 9 (IANS) Actress Alia Bhatt says her father Mahesh Bhatt is her go-to person whenever she is caught in a panic situation.

Asked to comment on her bonding with her father, the 22-year-old actress said: "He never makes me realise that 'I know more than you'. He treats me like an equal and that's the best way to have a father and daughter relationship. He is like a friend, he is level-headed and he knows how to tackle every situation.

"In a panic situation, the first person I call is my father."

On the work front, Alia will next be seen on screen in "Kapoor & Sons", a family film.

She believes that people take their family for granted.

"We take our family for granted and don't give them too much of time. I have not met my family for the longest time because of my hectic schedule. So, I feel this should not happen. This film is basically about a Kapoor family and I am not part of that family in this film.

"In fact, my screen space is not too much in this film, but the quality (of work) matters to me and not the quantity."

Directed by Shakun Batra, "Kapoor & Sons" also features Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rajat Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan. It is releasing on March 18.

Director, cast for 'Race 3' yet to be decided: Producer

Film producer Kumar Taurani has denied that filmmakers Abbas-Mustan, who have successfully directed two instalments in the "Race" franchise, won't helm "Race 3".

Addressing reports that Abbas-Mustan won't be directing the third movie in the thriller series, Taurani said: "This is not true. In fact, the film is in its scripting stage right now. We have not finalised anything as of now.

"We have still not decided the star cast of the film, location or who will be directing it. So, right now it's too early to comment on this."

"Race" movies have had high budgets and an ensemble cast. Its third instalment will raise the bar, Taurani assured.

He said: "'Race 3' will certainly have a multi-star cast like its previous instalments. But we are taking our own time with the scripting because we want to raise the bar with 'Race 3' as both 'Race' and 'Race 2' have been successful.

"We will lock the script in the next three months, and according to the availability of the stars' dates, we will start rolling (the cameras for it). We are approaching well-known celebrities fro 'Race 3'."

While "Race" was released in 2008, its sequel released in 2013.

Music composers Sajid-Wajid truly believe that "change is the only constant" and that people should accept this reality even in the music space.

While veteran singers are often heard slamming the latest styles of music, Sajid Ali of the duo, said: "Each and every decade has its own kind of music. I am lucky enough to see the changes. Change is the only constant... You have to accept it and you can't sit and crib about it.

"The understanding of music has changed. We were not (as) exposed to international music earlier. Now a lot of things have changed. The youth is so experimental now, and so we have to welcome this change."
