All the four Sankranthi released films, including Nannaku Prematho, Dictator, Express Raja and Soggade Chinni Nayana have completed 50 days run by today and next two days. Well, in the first place, what is this 50 days comedy?
Posters of these four films featuring the 50th Day stamp is issued only to bring many laughs among cinema lovers. It is very reasonable for Nagaarjunas film to celebrate 50 days because the film is still running in 115+ centres in Andhra and Telangana. But the real comedy has come from Nannaku Prematho and Dictator, as these so called blockbuster movies are running in 15+ and 3 theatres respectively. Forget about the number of theatres that are screening Express Raja from past 50 days.
Without even bringing profits to distributors and producers, and without scoring a big hit, whats the point in celebrating 50 days through posters? Only the heroes of those films and their producers should know. Despite scoring 50 crores, Nannaku Prematho brought 15% losses, while Dictator distributors lost 20 crores straight away. Even Express Raja is also a minor-loss venture. Only Soggade Chinni Nayana brought more than 25 crores profit to producer.
