All eyes have been on Disha to see her choice of next film and now the wait seems to have ended if reports are to be believed. Disha has shunned the age old conventional route and signed Jackie Chan’s much in the news ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ as the lead where she will be seen matching kicks and punches with the veteran global star and even playing his love interest.
A source from the production says that the makers were very impressed with Disha and her repertoire of abilities especially her experience with gymnastics which would aid in the high-octane action scenes the film has in store for the lead actress.
In the film, Disha will be seen playing a archaeology professor adept at expert level yoga and martial arts techniques that help Jackie Chan’s character on his journey to find India’s long lost Magadha treasure in Tibet.
Their journey is not so straightforward as they encounter various hurdles in the form of extreme natural conditions and persistent villains. The first schedule has already been shot in China with the crew now moving to Ice Land soon for the next schedule before coming to India for a brief period.
