New Delhi, Feb 26 (IANS) It was a clear Friday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 12.8 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season, the weather office said, predicting the day ahead is likely to be clear.
"The day ahead is likely to remain clear, but mist/haze can occur on Saturday morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 96 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 30.4 degrees Celsius, five notches above average and highest for the season.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 11.5 degrees Celsius on Thursday, one notch below the season's average.
