Ankara, Feb 21 (IANS) The outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) on Sunday kidnapped three journalists from Turkey's Anatolia news agency, media reports said.
A group of PKK militants kidnapped the three reporters in Nusaybin town of Mardin province bordering Syria, Xinhua reported citing Dogan news agency.
The three, said to have been trained in war combat reporting, were working in Mardin province at the time of their kidnapping.
Turkey's southeast has seen the worst violence in two decades since a 2013 ceasefire between the government and the PKK collapsed in July 2015, reviving a conflict that had killed 40,000 people since 1984.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist group by Turkey, the US and the European Union.
