Melbourne, Jan 3 (IANS) If you are a "Seinfeld" fan, you might consider visiting George's Bar here, a newly opened facility named after Jason Alexander's famous character George Costanza from the TV show.
The bar offers a cocktail menu pegged to various jokes from the long-running sitcom series. The Summer of George, The Hand Model, and Marisa Tomei are some of the concoctions available to patrons.
We came up with the name Georges and worked backwards, concept-theming it. George Costanza suits a bar in a lot of ways. The humour around George works," co-owner and operator Dave Barrett, was quoted as saying by the Sydney Morning Herald, reports ew.com.
Well be continually doing things and layering the theme. When you walk in, the two front doors have two Georges quotes - Its not a lie if you believe it and Everyone must like me, I must be liked'," Barett added.
"There's a whole bunch of autographed photos Ive bought that are all in transit, that will all get added to as well.
The bar is already catching the eye of Costanza fan.
One guy contacted me last night who lives in Melbourne and who is in the middle of eight different George Costanza paintings. We are talking about doing a show with him, Barrett said.
