Khagaria police bust solver gang in Bihar radio operator exam, 15 arrested

Patna, June 29 (SocialNews.XYZ) Khagaria police have uncovered an alleged solver gang that was attempting to help candidates gain unfair advantages in the Bihar Police Radio Operator competitive examination.

Fifteen people have been arrested in connection with the case, and a formal case (Case No. 126/26 dated June 28, 2026) has been registered at Khagaria police station.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Superintendent of Police Bhanu Pratap Singh said that the accused are currently being interrogated, and the investigation is continuing to identify other individuals associated with the network.

Police said that the District Intelligence Unit (DIU) received information about an organised group allegedly planning to facilitate malpractice during the Bihar Police Radio Operator examination on Sunday.

The gang was suspected of helping candidates clear the examination through illegal means. After verifying the information, a special investigation team was constituted under the supervision of the Sadar-1 SDPO and the Cyber DSP.

The team subsequently conducted raids at several locations and arrested 15 suspects.

The operation involved several police officials, including SDPO Mukul Ranjan, Cyber DSP Nishant Gaurav, Khagaria SHO Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Chitraguptnagar SHO Naveen Kumar, DIU personnel and armed police teams.

According to police, the coordinated operation helped dismantle the entire network involved in the examination.

During the raids, police recovered several items allegedly connected to the operation, including nine mobile phones, seven bank cheques, nine ATM cards, educational certificates, Aadhaar cards, two luxury cars, and one motorcycle.

Police officials stated that all seized materials are being examined to determine their relevance to the alleged examination fraud.

SP Bhanu Pratap Singh stated that the arrested individuals belong to several districts, including Bhojpur, Khagaria, Vaishali, Nawada, and Arwal.

According to the police, some of the arrested individuals were candidates themselves, while others allegedly acted as intermediaries who collected money from aspirants in exchange for promises to help them clear the examination.

The incident has once again raised concerns regarding the integrity and security of competitive examinations in Bihar.

In recent years, authorities have intensified surveillance and monitoring to prevent examination malpractice and the activities of solver gangs.
