Ashwin Dhar Reacts to Shah Rukh 2.0 Tag and Massive Success of Dhurandhar The Revenge

Actor Ashwin Dhar has addressed the growing social media buzz calling him “Shah Rukh 2.0” due to his striking resemblance to superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The comparison, which began as memes and fan edits, quickly turned into a viral trend, placing the rising actor in an unexpected spotlight following the massive success of his recent film.

 

Speaking about the sudden attention, Ashwin reacted with humility and gratitude, fully embracing the comparisons while acknowledging the stature of Shah Rukh Khan in Indian cinema. He said, "Well, first and foremost, I attribute it entirely to grace. Absolutely. Shah Rukh is a colossal superstar—a truly immense actor. He has been a part of the industry for the past 30 or 35 years—perhaps even longer—and he has truly established himself as the Shah Rukh Khan. And suddenly, to be placed on the same pedestal as Shah Rukh Khan—even if it’s just through memes, or even if people are merely comparing our costumes—the fact remains that it has all gone viral.”
