Big B also misses giving autographs to fans and the gifts that some of them brought for him.

"A while more and the pages for the autograph, pictures writings etc., all done with the care with which they have remained so sincere and long, arrives.. their personal equation with the maestro in tact they leave after this minuscule formality .. the heart of the Ef be of subtle grace .. and that done they leave as do I inside the secure home .. and the gifts that arrive kept away to be stored and valued," he wrote.

In a one-minute 38 second video shared by the BCCI, Mandhana has revealed her day to day activities in order to make sure how she makes the most of the lockdown period currently in place in the entire country.

She is working out as per the training schedule given by Team India trainer. "Staying fit is very important, so I am working out. I keep in touch with the trainer and receive the feedback. He keeps sending us (all Indian players) all the workouts that we need to follow."

"The other thing I like is spending time with my family. We love playing cards. I help my mother with cooking. I guess washing utensils has become a part of my daily routine. However, my favourite pass time is to trouble my brother," said the left-handed Indian batswoman.

"The third thing which is love is watching movies. I am a big movie buff. So, I make sure I watch two-three movies a week, not many because I don't want to get addicted. I want to spend time with my family.

"The best thing which I love doing the most at home is sleeping. I make sure I sleep for at least 10 hours to keep myself happy the entire day," she added.

The star Indian batswoman also urged people to stay indoors during the lockdown. "Stay home, stay safe and keep yourself physically and mentally fit."

India has been in lockdown since March 25, a step taken in order to stop the spread of coronavirus which has so far claimed more than 300 lives in the country. However, with an upstage in number of infected people, the lockdown is likely to be extended further after Tuesday.

Panaji, March 29 (SocialNews.XYZ) Amid growing unease over inability of food and essential items in Goa and the state government's decision to give central paramilitary forces a "free hand" to punish curfew violators, several voices on Twitter have attempted to highlight the plight of a population which has been facing a lockdown as a food shortage for as many as eight days in a row.

In a tweet, actor Richa Chadda urged users of the social media platform to draw attention to the situation in Goa. "Goa needs food supply. Please draw attention to his, tweeple," Chaddha tweeted on Sunday.

Authors Richa Kaul Padte and Mihir Sharma also highlighted the lack of food and underlined the sense of chaos in the coastal state, which has witnessed panic over lack of supply of essential goods including rice, wheat flour, and cooking oil.

"Journalists, twitter folks, etc: pls.. pls... can you draw attention to what is happening in Goa? We have been on COMPLETE (surprise) lockdown all week. No groceries, no markets, no provisions. cops are patrolling the streets. People have no way to access food. It is getting bad," Padte said.

"All worrying news out of Goa is odd. It is India's most developed state, it's geographically compact, has a solid welfare system - why is it breaking under lockdown? Why are there no groceries, and why is the CM asking for central paramilitary forces?" Mihir Sharma said.

Local resident Lyndon JP, a working professional, paints a grim summary of life in Goa on the eight consecutive day of the lockdown.

"Current situation in Goa: Increase my chances of contracting #COVID_19 or go mad at home due to hunger or go out to get supplies & get beaten by the cops! So many helplines, but no one answers or there's no stock. Thanks for the brilliant organization @goacm #COVID2019india," Lyndon says.

While smaller 'mom and pop' grocery stores are virtually out of stock in most places, the Chief Minister's decision to shut down major grocery stores super markets and instead bank on a network of politicians and their volunteers to home deliver essentials has further added to the chaos, with allegations of hoarding by ruling politicians creeping in.

"Sir Chairman NDMA, @PMOINdia. Giving control to MLAs in Goa over groceries distribution isnot mitigating but leading to bigger disaster. Pl get @goacm to go by Disaster mgt Act, instead of unleashing CRPF on people," Goa Aam Aadmi Party convenor Elvis Gomes tweeted.

Both, the state Bharatiya Janata Party president Sadanand Shet Tanavade and the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant have urged calm amid the increasing chaos and said that efforts were being made to strengthen the home distribution network.

On Sunday morning, the Sawant-led administration also authorized food delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy to deliver food and groceries to people.

Sharing how she is taking care of her teenager daughter Rasha and son Ranbir, actress Raveena Tandon told IANS: "I never believe in over sanitization...but always make sure to keep my house clean and hygienic. Washing hands is must with the kids. Now, we have totally self-quarantined ourselves. Since schools are shut , we are spending time with each other at home. To keep them entertained, we play monopoly and other board games. We also pass time by watching movies together. It's a great time to develop close bond with your family members and I am doing the same."

Actress Sunny Leone, who has three kids -- Nisha Kaur , Noah Singh, and Asher Singh -- is extremely concerned. She recently posted a picture on Instagram, sharing how difficult it is to make kids wear masks.

"A new era... so sad that my kids have to now live like this but it is necessary. Training toddlers to wear a mask," she captioned the image in which her little ones can be seen wearing masks.

Sunny also shared how she has to be super creative in order to keep her children busy.

"I have three kids ...right now my main focus is on home schooling. I have to teach them..make them learn new things at home. I am being creative enough to keep them busy during lockdown," she said.

"Iqbal" fame actor Shreyas Talpade is a father of little baby girl, and being a father, he finds it tricky to deal with coronavirus.

"Right now the best thing to do is to stay home and not risk your family's health by venturing out. We are maintaining utmost hygiene around the house in general and around her in particular.

"But she's at an age where it's difficult to stop her from playing or explain things to her. So it's a tricky situation but We just have to remember the two important things : Take utmost precautions and build your immunity," Shreyas said.

"Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!" actress Shubhangi Atre has installed sanitizers' dispensers at her house. So that her daughter Ashi does not forget to wash her hands.

"When Ashi, my daughter was at a very young age, I inculcated a habit within her of washing hands before every meal. I stress upon this even more now especially before she eats anything during the day. I have installed small sanitizer dispensers across our house so that both my daughter and husband can keep sanitizing their hands regularly. Our clothes are also washed separately with a sanitizing liquid unlike before," she shared.

According to Shubhangi, it is "important to make kids understand the the vitality of the situation and how imperative it is to take care of one's health rather than just imposing the restrictions on them".

Asked Sameera Reddy how did she explain her 4-year-old son, Hans, about the ongoing health scare, Sameera shared her son's strange reaction to the disease.

"I never imagined that my son would come to me and say the coronavirus is a germ that, if it sits in an aeroplane, people can't get out of the plane. It made me realise how children are also worried about the situation. Then I made him sit next to me and explained to him in the best way I could. The situation is highly disturbing...I hope everything becomes normal soon," Sameera, who welcomed her daughter Nyra last year, said.

He stated that the two mantras that people should follow are "resolve" and "self-control". Following the conclusion of his speech, people took to Twitter to share their views about 'janta curfew'.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharam tweeted, "As @PMOIndia invites citizen-participation in the fight against CoronaVirus in India, I shall only remain indoors entirely on 22nd March for the #JanataCurfew thinking of all our essential service providers working tirelessly during this trying phase."

Author Shefali Vaidya wrote, "Only @narendramodi inspires such confidence amongst the common people that they are willing to stay at home voluntarily because he asked them to. It has been less than an hour since his address, and already WA groups are buzzing with the news of #JanataCurfew."

"Another misinformation urging people to avoid ice-creams to prevent #Coronavirus is #Fake," the PIB Fact Check tweet read.

"There is no evidence from the current #CoronavirusOutbreak which states that avoiding ice cream can help prevent the onset of the disease," it added.

The clarification came after a post went viral on social media saying, "Do not eat cold foods for any reason. Avoid stuff like ice-cream."

Earlier in the day, PIB Fact Check had said that a message saying "drinking and gargling with warm water mixed with vinegar and salt cannot help ward off coronavirus" was misleading.

The viral message had claimed that before reaching the lungs of humans, coronavirus remains in the throat for four days, leading to cough and throat pain in an affected person.

"Drinking lots of water and gargling with warm water with vinegar or salt might eliminate the virus," the viral message said, asking the recipients to spread the information.

"This is fake news circulating on social media and WhatsApp," PIB Fact Check said, advising people to refer to the Health Ministry's website to obtain correct and authentic information.

In the shared photos, the worker is seen wearing a face mask and dressed up as a large hand sanitiser dispenser with a real one attached in front of him. As the photo surfaced online, the oil company was significantly criticised for humiliating the worker, during the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Following the backlash, Saudi Aramco took to their Twitter handle and wrote, "In response to the viral photos of a colleague wearing sterilisation in one of our facilities, Saudi Aramco would like to express our strong dissatisfaction with such abusive behavior. We wanted to emphasise the importance of hand sanitation."

"With immediate effect, the company has stopped this act and has taken drastic measures to prevent it from happening again. The company would like to strongly emphasise that this doesn't adhere to our values, ethics, and conduct," the company said.

New Delhi, March 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) A video of Union Minister Ramdas Athawale along with Chinese Consul General in Mumbai Tang Guocai and Buddhist monks chanting "Go corona, go corona" and requesting the virus to leave India at a prayer meet went viral on the social media.

Netizens are unable to believe what they were witnessing and could not help ridiculing their action.

A Twitter user shared the video with the caption, "Central Minister Mr Ramdas Athawale requests Corona to go back from India", a user reacted: "Then: Simon go back...Now: Go Corona! Corona Go! Go Corona! Corona Go!"

Another wrote, "This sounds more like encouraging Corona, go corno go corono!!"

"Ye 'Gokarna' beach ke baare me baat kar rahe hain. Bahut din se vacation nahi li hai inhone, usi baare me baat chal rahi hai," read one post.

New Delhi, March 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Twitterati erupted in anger on Wednesday as news of poachers killing Kenya's only female white giraffe and her calf surfaced.

The Northern Rangelands Trust (@NRT_Kenya) shared the news on their Twitter handle along with a release.

The caption reads, "SAD NEWS: @IshaqbiniHirola Community Conservancy, Garissa County loses two famous white giraffes to poachers."

In the release, the manager of the Ishaqbini Hirola Community Conservancy, Mohammed Ahmednoor, said the two killed giraffes were last spotted more than three months ago.

"This is a very sad day for the community of Ijara and Kenya as a whole. We are the only community in the world who are custodians of the white giraffe," Ahmednoor said in the statement.

"This is a dark day not only to the conservation community but also to all Kenyans who took pride in the existence of this unique species," the release said.

The Kenya Wildlife Service also took to their Twitter and wrote, "We are investigating reports of the deaths of a white Giraffe and a calf in Ishaqbini Conservancy in Garissa County.

"Our teams on the ground have seen bones believed to be those of the two giraffes. The bones are estimated to be four months old."

As the news came out in public domain, social media has been abuzz with reactions.

A user wrote, "This is quite Sad news indeed."

Another wrote, "I am heart broken, that any human would do something so heartless and evil!!"

"Can we please start hunting poachers?" asked one user.

"This is beyond terrible. May the poachers and their families for 10 generations suffer a worse fate," a user remarked.

The white giraffe made headlines in 2017 after its discovery, with its unique white hide.
