Shreya went on to claim that she took a step back when she got to know that the two were in a relationship and that to avoid misunderstanding with Shivangi, she offered the actress her phone to clear any doubts about who texted first.

“Barsatein: Mausam Pyaar Ka” follows a young, beautiful woman who falls for an influential and handsome man. However, his stubbornness and emotional unavailability unfold a challenging journey for her.

Some netizens expressed their disapproval over the timing of the post.

Los Angeles, July 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner, who plays Hollis, a celebrity chef in the show The Five Star Weekend, has spoken about how her decade-long friendship with co-star Timothy Olyphant made romance easy.

For Garner and Olyphant, the series was a long-awaited reunion.

“He and I first worked together on an indie in New York City in the ‘90s,” Garner told people.com ahead of the show’s premiere.

Their best-known collaboration is 2006’s Catch and Release.

Garner says she recently found out that the rom-com “has this whole life that I didn’t know it had, which has been very gratifying to learn.”

Working together on The Five Star Weekend “was great,” Garner says, as the “trust and history” they share made things easy.

“How fun to go in and just hit the ground running, knowing each other like we do.”

“With Tim, there was that trust there,” she said.

“I love his wife. I’ve known her forever.”

In fact, Garner, who is also an executive producer on the series, which is an adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s 2023 novel, was responsible for Olyphant’s casting to begin with and Hamilton’s.

“Jen, in particular, with her two men, Matthew and Jack, was really interested in working with some lovely guys that she had worked with before, that she had a connection with, so that’s how Josh and Tim came about,” showrunner Bekah Brunstetter said.

Brunstetter added: “We were so lucky to get both of them.”

Collaborating with Garner on the producing side was “really natural,” Brunstetter adds.

“She is so accessible and so warm, and there’s nothing about her that makes you feel like you can’t touch her.”

The romance was just one of the multitude of things that drew Garner to the story.

“There were so many draws to doing this show for me,” the actress says.

Among those was the chance to be “part of an ensemble of female actresses who all had beginnings, middles, and ends to complex storylines with so much grist for the mill between all of them.”

Hollis and her “stars,” as her friends are repeatedly referred to throughout the series, all have “histories that are complicated and misunderstood,” in the show, as Garner points out. Layered in the story, too, are themes of grief, motherhood, fame and, of course, romance, thanks to Mr. Olyphant.

Garner is already itching for a season 2 renewal.

“My biggest hope and wish is that we get to do a second season of this show so that we can go in knowing each other as well as we do now,” she says, referring to the bond the actresses formed during production. “We became very close very quickly.”

Talking about the cliches on the small screen, Vijayendra, who made his debut in the world of TV in 2011 with Chotti Bahu 2 - Sawar Ke Rang Rachi, told IANS: Clichés? There are so many. Wahi shadi ho gayi achanak se... Namak, kisne namak daal diya, kisne chana zyada upaal diya. All these things, you know. Those have already stopped, I guess.”

“(There are so many cliches on TV. The same old 'sudden marriage' twist... then the typical scenes like, 'Who added the salt?' or 'Who overcooked the chana?' and all those kinds of tracks. I think those have largely stopped now.)”

The 39-year-old actor said TV has come a long way from its over-the-top clichés, adding that he hopes sudden wedding twists, exaggerated family drama and endless zoom-ins remain firmly in the past.

“Those high drama scenes, yahaan pe aap chila rahe hain, round trolley chal rahi hai, zoom zoom zoom zoom ho raha hai, wo sab kahi jaga abhi bhi shayad hota hoga, lekin kaafi change aa chuka hai, aur wo clichés wapas nahi aane chahiye, yeh main chahunga.”

“I think things have changed for the better. Women are getting more layered and meaningful roles now. There is still room for improvement, but the audience is accepting stories led by women, and that’s a positive sign for the industry.”

Further, speaking about the possibility of being typecast after a successful performance, Adrija Roy shared, “When a role becomes popular, people naturally start seeing you in that space because they know you’ve done it well. I don’t blame anyone for that. But as an actor, I would always like to surprise both myself and the audience. I don’t want to keep doing the same kind of character again and again. Every role should teach me something different.”

She added, “Of course, every actor dreams of having plenty of choices, but that’s not always how this industry works. Sometimes a good production house offers you a role that may not be exactly what you imagined. In such situations, I think you have to look at the complete picture—the team, the story and what the character brings to the show. There is no right or wrong answer. Every actor has to make the decision that feels right at that moment.”

The actress also revealed that she has stepped away from opportunities that didn’t feel right creatively. “Yes, I have said no to a few projects. It wasn’t because they were bad, but because I couldn’t connect with the characters. If I don’t believe in a role, it becomes difficult for me to do justice to it. I would rather wait for something that genuinely excites me.”

The first film, Mitrata, stars Viraj Ghelani along with a young ensemble cast and is slated for a theatrical release. The film promises a fresh, youthful story that caters to the Gen Z audience.

Their second venture, Adbhoot, is a bilingual horror film being made simultaneously in Gujarati and Marathi. The film stars Swapnil Joshi and Manasi Parekh in never-seen-before avatars. The film is scheduled to release early next year and is being positioned as the first Gujarati-Marathi bilingual film of its kind.

Speaking about the two projects, Parthiv said in a statement: “We are very excited to provide quality entertainment in regional cinema. After the success of Laalo, we are looking forward to Mitrata and Adbhoot reaching audiences.”

“Both films are very diverse and completely different from each other.”

With Mitrata and Adbhoot, the duo continues to explore diverse genres while also championing fresh talent and unique storytelling in regional cinema.

Talking about Manasi, she made her acting debut in the serial Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi in 2004, but gained popularity through India Calling in 2005. She went on to appear in the show Gulaal.

Manasi was also seen in shows like Remote Control and Laughter Ke Phatke. In April 2012, she appeared in the Tamil romance film Leelai alongside actor Shiv Panditt.

The actress made her Hindi debut with Yeh Kaisi Life, which premiered at the IFFI Festival in Goa.

In 2019, she made her debut as a producer with the Gujarati web series Do Not Disturb.

A year later, she made her debut in Gujarati cinema with Golkeri. Talking about if shows like this will open the floodgates for inclusivity in the small screen, the actor, who civil aviation job after working for years to pursue acting, having convinced his parents, said both makers and performers are embracing unconventional concepts.

Vijayendra told IANS: “See, times are changing. Gone are those days when people used to watch only kitchen drama or they were looking for something saas, bahu types.”

He added: People also want to watch new concepts, and makers are also making new concepts, and we actors are also open to do new things. So there are going to be a lot of concepts, you know, which are going to be different than they used to be.”

“Ours is one of them. And I think, yeah, there will be a lot of other shows also, which, you know, makers will get inspired by watching shows like these,” said the actor, who made his television debut in 2011.

Eisha told IANS: “I highly doubt it will happen to this show. I hope not because the story is very different.”

The actress understands that the consumption for the TV show is for the “mass audience”.

“But then at the end of the day, we are serving to the mass audience and we sometimes show what they want to see. That is why I think around 2008 a show came on a different channel about autism and it took us 16 years to make a show like this. I think we show saas-bahu drama only because that's what audiences have wanted to watch.”

Stressing that the series revolves around a unique story centred on autism, the actress said viewers have welcomed its unconventional characters with open arms and open hearts.

“But times are changing, and television needs to change with them. Of course, there is still a space for saas-bahu drama, but at the same time, people are embracing Juhi Mui so beautifully. They have accepted the show with open arms and open hearts, and that's exactly what we wanted because these aren't your typical hero and heroine characters.”

“They are very different. They have their own flaws, they each live in their own world, and the story is about how they come together and begin to see the world from a completely different perspective. So far, the audience has showered us with a lot of love, and I sincerely hope the show doesn't end up becoming a typical saas-bahu saga.”

Prince spoke about his anxiety battle, during the conversation on Double Date. He shared that anxiety had taken over his life at one point.

"There was a time when I was taking 18 tablets a day. I had palpitations, night fear, weight gain, and several medical problems. It was one of the toughest phases of my life”, he said.

Prince added: “Music helped me a lot. It gave me peace when I was struggling." He also credited Yuvika for supporting him through the difficult phase.

The reality TV star said that it was his wife Yuvika, who handled him during that time.

“She stood by me when things were really difficult”.

He also addressed the rough patch in his marriage, revealing that both he and Yuvika were emotionally exhausted during that period. The situation became so difficult that they even considered parting ways.

"Neither Yuvika was wrong, nor was I. We were both not in the right headspace."

Prince revealed that becoming parents gave both of them a fresh perspective on life and marriage.

"After having a baby, life has completely changed. Now we don't even fight with each other. And even if we do, it gets resolved just by looking at our daughter."

Munmun shared a poster, which had “JUSTICE FOR BARUIPIUR” written on it.

For the caption, she simply wrote: A 12 year old girl, a mere child, raped and murdered. Yet AGAIN. Find these MEN. (sic).”

The body of the 12-year-old girl was recovered from a pond in West Bengal’s Baruipur area on July 5. She had been missing since July 4. Tension flared up in the area on July 5 over the recovery of the minor's body.

Family members of the deceased girl claimed that the victim was raped and murdered. However, the police have not confirmed this allegation so far. The autopsy of the minor's body was completed on the night of July 5.

Police have said that the reason for the murder will be known only after the autopsy report surfaces. The autopsy report, according to the police, will also confirm whether she was raped or not and based on the report, another case will be registered accordingly.

On July 6, the Baruipur Police District on Monday imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in areas under three police stations under its jurisdiction.

With prohibitory orders being imposed, the assembly of five or more people at a place and at a time in areas under these three police stations have been banned till further orders on this count.

A huge police contingent has been deployed in the area, who are conducting constant patrols to prevent a fresh outbreak of tension or violence.

Tension broke out at Baruipur on Sunday after the recovery of the minor girl’s body from a pond.

Locals protested with the body of the girl. It is alleged that a young man was beaten to death on suspicion of being the girl's murderer. But there has been no official confirmation on this.

Talking about the actress, Munmun started her journey with Hum Sab Baraati in 2004. The actress was seen in a small role in the film Holiday directed by Pooja Bhatt. Starring Dino Morea, Gulshan Grover and Onjolee Nair, the film is a remake of the 1987 American film Dirty Dancing.

Aditya Narayan, son of veteran playback singer Udit Narayan, is widely known for hosting “Indian Idol” and for participating in “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.”

He began his playback singing career with the Nepali film “Mohini” in 1992. He later made his Hindi playback debut by singing alongside Asha Bhosle for “Rangeela.” In 1995, he teamed up with his father, Udit Narayan, to perform a song for “Akele Hum Akele Tum.”

We had a month-long schedule in Manali, and it was a memorable experience working with him.”

Rohit Chandel and Arjun Rampal have teamed up for the upcoming crime thriller “Blind Game.”

Directed by the late filmmaker Sangeeth Siva, “Blind Game” is centered around a cop on a mission. The film has wrapped up production and is currently being readied for its theatrical release.

Meanwhile, Rohit Chandel is currently seen in the show “Sairaab,” which also features Madirakshi Mundle.

Talking about the show, the actor said, “It's been quite a journey. Everything started in a hurry because even the production team didn't have much time to prepare for the show. We began shooting within a week. Overall, the journey has been wonderful but also very challenging because I had never played a character like this before. The role includes songs, so I had to maintain the rhythm and flow while also delivering dialogues naturally. It was definitely a new experience for me.”

Further speaking about the current track, he said that the ongoing storyline has been especially challenging and rewarding at the same time. Rohit stated, “It is quite challenging because television works on a very tight schedule. Episodes are telecast within a day or two of shooting, so we have to prepare quickly. There are lengthy scenes and a lot of dialogues. Emotional scenes, especially, require a lot of mental preparation and effort.”

In her recent post, the ‘Ramayan’ actress spoke about the emotional and physical challenges she faced over the years and how understanding her condition brought her relief and clarity. Reflecting on her journey, Debina highlighted the importance of treating the body with compassion rather than criticism.

Taking to Instagram, she posted a video where she said, “So it wasn't just cellulite. The day I learned cellulite and lipedema are not always the same thing. When I started reading about lipedema, it felt like someone had quietly written down my experience. It's a condition where fat accumulates differently, especially around the legs, the thighs, and sometimes around the arms. And the strange thing is, diet and exercise don't always affect those areas the way they affect the rest of the body. That's why so many women spend years feeling frustrated.”

“You lose weight, your upper body changes, but your legs seem to be following a completely different algorithm. Another thing I learned, many women with lipedema notice easy bruising, tenderness, heaviness in the legs, a dimpled texture that doesn't really improve even when they are extremely disciplined with fitness. And here's the saddest part.”

Debina added, “Many of us spend years blaming ourselves, thinking that not dieting hard enough, not working out enough, when in reality, there may be something deeper happening. The biggest relief for me wasn't finding a solution overnight. The biggest relief was finding an explanation.

"Because once you understand what's happening to you, you stop fighting your body and start working with it. So, part 3 is where I'll share what changed for me once I stopped chasing weight loss and started focusing on hormones, inflammation, and overall health.”

For the caption, she wrote, "Part 2: Sometimes, the biggest relief isn’t finding a cure. It’s finally finding an explanation. Learning about lipedema helped me understand my body with more compassion instead of more criticism. Part 3 is about what I’m doing differently today. For the unversed, lipedema is a medical condition in which fat accumulates abnormally, most commonly in the legs and thighs and, in some cases, the arms. It often leads to a lumpy, uneven skin texture, along with symptoms such as swelling, easy bruising, and a sensation of heaviness in the affected areas.

Debina revealed that for several years, she held herself responsible for her body shape. She followed rigorous fitness routines including weight training and cardio, but noticed that while her upper body changed, her lower body showed little difference. She had earlier revealed that she initially assumed her legs were naturally heavier or affected by regular cellulite. Later, after researching her symptoms, she discovered that she was actually dealing with lipedema.

According to her, whether it is a kissing scene or any other intimate sequence, actors are simply doing what the script demands.

When asked about her thoughts on intimate scenes performed by actors, Simple Kaul stated, “Acting is a profession. If an actor performs a kissing scene or any other scene required by the script, that is part of the job. Personally, if my husband or partner had to perform such a scene professionally, I would not have a problem with it because it is work. However, having an actual relationship outside the commitment would be a completely different matter.”

Further speaking about relationships and loyalty, the ‘Shararat’ actress also addressed ongoing conversations in the industry around cheating and trust issues. “Cheating is cheating. There is no alternative definition for it. If two people truly love each other, they should remain honest and committed. If distractions arise, it is important to address them honestly rather than ignore them. If someone does not want commitment, then they are free to live their life accordingly. But honesty is essential in any serious relationship.”

“These local trains became my hotspot. From 2005 to 2007 Traveling in all modes of transportation in a Single day - i.e. and to college and then for my 9 to 5 job. I’d spend all my time looking out of the window and smiling away at my dreams, the knowing that my future is super awesome and most importantly that I’m the master of my destiny. Today it’s called visualization and manifestation. We were told it’s Day Dreaming. And this song was definitely the top played songs on my IPOD. (Remember those),” (sic) added Dogra.

I understood that it's not always about screen time—if the character is strong, that’s enough for me. So, I went ahead with it.”

The actress also emphasized the importance of reliable water access, calling it essential for a dignified and stable urban life.

“Water scarcity is not just about inconvenience; it quietly impacts every aspect of your daily life. When your day begins with uncertainty over whether there will be enough water to cook, clean, or even carry out basic hygiene, you realize how fragile something as essential as water can become. We often speak about infrastructure and urban development, but reliable access to water is the very foundation of a dignified life.”

Something as simple as taking a shower is replaced with a bucket bath because every litre has to be used mindfully. You begin calculating your consumption instead of living freely. “And it's very important to stay grounded in this industry, which is also a little difficult. But I would say people should stay grounded,” she added.

Prachi further mentioned that for her emotional scenes are a little more difficult than performing other scenes. “This is how I prepare myself. You have to feel that whatever is happening is happening to you. I think that maybe this is happening to me, and if it happened to me, how would I react? So maybe when you start feeling that thing, then you are able to show it properly on screen.”

Speaking about working alongside a cast of seasoned actors on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, she said, “The set of Saas 2 is super fun. At the same time, when you are working with such senior actors, you get to learn a lot.”

Prachi also revealed how she landed the role in the Smriti Irani-led show. They said, 'Send the audition urgently. 'We need it.' They gave me the character brief, and I gave the audition. After 10 to 15 days, I got a call saying, 'You are shortlisted. 'Then I got selected for this role.”

In “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2,” Prachi Singh plays the role of Manjuri (Munni). The show premiered on 29 July 2025 on StarPlus and also streams on JioHotstar. It is a sequel and reboot of the popular series “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.” Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay reprise their roles as Tulsi and Mihir Virani.

Mumbai, June 27 (SocialNews.XYZ) Akanksha Chaudhary, who is a participant of “Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa” on Netflix, shared that her previous reality show “Splitsvilla 16” affected her mental health and added that she would show the “3.0” version of her.

Akanksha, who faced name-calling in and after the Sunny Leone-hosted show, said in a statement: “I feel in my last reality show, there were many allegations that were not cleared. My fans are waiting for answers and I feel Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa will give me that space to do that. These allegations affected my mental health.”

It was in the youth-based reality show, that Yogesh and Akanksha first met and decided to be together. Things took a turn when Yogesh’s former girlfriend Ruru entered the show. The finale of “Splitsvilla” too saw some fireworks as many claimed that Yogesh cheated on Ruru with Akanksha.

Akanksha revealed that she will not “over-prepare” herself for “Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa” like she did for her previous show.

“My last show taught me not to over-prepare. I will show Akanksha 3.0 in this show. I know there will be a lot of madness but I know that I will enjoy it. Everyone is advising on strategy but I aim to go inside with a blank mind. This time, I am going only to WIN and come back,” she said.

Other contestants include names such as Ram Kapoor, Pamala Serena and Shivangi Joshi to name a few. “Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa” streams from June 27 on Netflix.

The first edition of “Lock Upp” was hosted by Kangana in 2022. Karan Kundrra was introduced as Jailor for the entire season. Munawar Faruqui was named as the winner.

The first edition of the show followed contestants, who were accused in the outside world and fought it out in jail to earn every basic necessity and win the heart of the host and audience by performing tasks and showcasing their personalities.

The second installment will have fourteen inmates, two jailers, and one lock-up for 6 weeks. As per the rules, inmates must complete tasks to earn in-game currency required for even the basic necessities such as food, supplies, and privileges.

Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan will take charge as the Jailers of the show. It will stream on Netflix.
