Hyderabad, Oct 17 (SocialNews.XYZ) The makers of director Pavan Sadineni's upcoming film 'Aakasamlo Oka Tara', featuring actors Dulquer Salmaan and Satvika Veeravalli in the lead, on Saturday, released an inspiring and impressive teaser, much to the delight of fans and film buffs.

Swapna Cinemas, the production house producing the film, took to its social media timelines, to share the teaser. It wrote, "The sweetest dreams are chased with love. Haven’t experienced this magic yet? Watch the #AOTTeaser now."

The film is slated to hit screens worldwide on November 20 this year.

The teaser released shows that Kalpana is a brilliant student who secures the district’s first rank. However, despite her academic excellence, she faces discouragement from everyone, including her parents, who eventually get her married. Krishna, who comes into her life, becomes her biggest source of strength and encouragement.

When others tell Kalpana that she cannot even cross the boundaries of her village, she boldly declares that she will cross the boundaries of the earth and reach for the sky. Fortunately, Krishna shares her vision and encourages her to dream big, work hard, and strive to achieve her goals.

It may be recalled that the makers had marked the birthday of actor Dulquer Salmaan earlier this year by releasing a new poster of the actor from the film and announcing that he played the character Krishna in the film.

The makers of the film had, some months ago, introduced Satvika Veeravalli as the lead of the film.

The film, which is being produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under the Light Box Media banner, is being presented by well known production houses Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema.

Geetha Arts, which is one of the firms presenting the film, had taken to its Instagram page to share the introduction video of the actress. It wrote, "She carries a dream bigger than the sky…. Introducing Satvika Veeravalli - The dreamer who gives wings to #AakasamLoOkaTara #AOTMovie."

The introduction video begins with a child, pointing to the sky and asking "How do I go to space?" Viewers are then given a glimpse of the heroine.The introduction video shows Satvika Veeravalli as a youngster from the rural parts who is dissuaded from pursuing her dream of going to space.

We hear a man's voice saying, "Coming from a village that has no roads, you harbour plans of going to space? First, you show us if you can cross the borders of the village. Then, we'll see."

It is evident that the film will revolve around the character that Satvika Veeravalli plays and that she is actually the protagonist. The film is about a girl from a remote rural region realising her dream of becoming an astronaut and going to space.

The film boasts of a fantastic technical team. It has two-time National Award winner G V Prakash Kumar scoring music for it. Cinematography for the film is by one of the best in business, Sujith Sarang. The film has editing by National Award winning editor K L Praveen.

Kamal Haasan, who came in person to pay homage to the mortal remains of the eminent music director, took to his X timeline to post his condolence message.

In Tamil, Kamal Haasan said, "The news of the demise of my dear brother Deva is shocking. He was someone who was full of enthusiasm and zeal and would laugh heartily at even little jokes."

Stating that memories of the joyful times they shared working together on films like 'Avvai Shanmugi','Pammal K. Sambandam', and 'Panchatanthiram' had come flooding back to him, Kamal Haasan said, "My heartfelt tribute to him. My deepest condolences and words of comfort to his family."

Several stars from across south Indian film industries too condoled the demise of the late music director.

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly took to his X timeline to express his condolences. He wrote, "Rest in peace Deva Sir...Your music will echo through generations."

Tamil actor Karthi, who is also the younger brother of actor Suriya, wrote, "Deva sir’s boundless energy and childlike innocence were as special as his music. He brought a unique joy to everything he did, and his melodies and vibrant Chennai gaana will always remain a part of our lives. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends."

Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who was among the first to express his condolences, wrote in Tamil, "The demise of Deva sir, who has left his mark in the music world of Tamil films, is painful. His music and songs will continue to live on in our memories forever. My deepest condolences."

Well known singer Saindhavi, in her tribute to Deva on Instagram, wrote, "Deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Deva sir. An extraordinary composer and a truly humble human being, he has given us so much through his music. His contribution to the industry will always be remembered and cherished."

She went on to add, "I feel fortunate to have received my very first song from him, a memory that will always remain special to me. Though the film is yet to be released, I will forever be grateful for the opportunity. A huge loss to the world of music. He will be deeply missed. My heartfelt condolences to @srikanth_deva_official and family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him."

Rajinikanth, who visited the residence of the late music director to pay homage to Deva, put out a video clip soon after in which he paid rich tribute to the much liked music director.

In hsi video, Rajinikanth said, "The sudden demise of my dear friend, music director Deva, is both shocking and sorrowful. He has scored music for three of my films --'Annamalai', 'Baasha' and 'Arunachalam'. All three films were very big successes."

Rajinikanth then went on to say, "When my friends insisted on opting for A R Rahman while making 'Padaiyappa', I went to Deva and told him that I was opting for A R Rahman, he stood up, held my hand and said, 'Please, by all means, do so.' I told Deva that I did not want him to mistake me. He replied, 'I am saying this with happiness, please go ahead. That boy (A R Rahman) is coming up well. Please do well. I am very happy. It is my good fortune that I have done three films with you.'"

Citing this instance, Rajinikanth said, "Deva was a person of pure gold who was without lies or deceit. He has struggled a lot in life. He had four younger brothers and used to perform in concerts and at weddings to take care of them. Even after he became a star in the film industry, he did not let go of his brothers and kept them with himself. He was such a wonderful family man and a good human being."

The Superstar observed, "Even when Ilaiyaraaja was ruling the roost, Deva created a style for himself and succeeded big time."

Recalling that when Deva visited him two-and-a-half years ago, he had said, "Everyone is doing concerts. I too would like to do concerts. You must come and inaugurate my concert," Rajinikanth recalled, "I very happily went and participated in that event."

"Deva then did concerts abroad and was very successful. He came after going on a tour to meet me. Three months ago, he came after going to either Canada or Australia and said, 'I am very happy. Youngsters are welcoming me so happily. I am feeling so happy Rajini sir. With this happiness, I will live for another 10 to 15 years,'" Rajinikanth recalled.

The actor said, "Maybe God thought Deva was a very nice person and that he should come to him when he was happy itself and therefore called Deva to him. May his soul rest in peace. My deepest condolences to his family members."

For the unaware, Chennai, well known Tamil music director Deva, who has scored music for over 400 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, passed away at a private hospital here on Saturday.

The film, which hit screens on October 15, has come in for praise from various quarters including celebrities from across the country. In fact, on Friday Bollywood star Riteish Deshmukh complimented Superstar Rajinikanth saying, "Superstardom thy name is RAJNI sir …. #Jailer2."

Riteish Deshmukh, who took to his X timeline to share his experience of watching the film, first put out a post during the interval of the film.

He wrote, "Watching Jailor 2 - its interval now - Maha Blockbuster ….. Rajni Sir’s aura is on another level- Dir Nelson & the team - take a bow !!!!! Do yourselves a favour -watch the film- coz It’s HUKUM -TIGER KA HUKUM."

Taking to his X timeline to pen a congratulatory post to Rajinikanth and the whole team of Jailer 2, which released on Thursday, Kamal Haasan, in Tamil said, "News has come in that Jailer 2, starring my dear friend Rajinikanth, which released today has emerged a superhit worldwide. Heartfelt congratulations to my friend Rajinikanth, director @Nelsondilpkumar, music composer @anirudhofficial, and the @sunpictures team."

National Award winning actor, director and producer Dhanush, who watched the first day first show of the film, was the first to congratulate the team.

Taking to his X timeline to pen his thoughts on the film soon after watching it, Dhanush wrote, "JAILER 2 is a MUST MUST MUST watch. BLOCKBUSTER (followed by a number of fire symbols). A FEAST for every Thalaivar fan."

Several other top stars and directors too have congratulated the team of Jailer 2 on the film emerging a superhit.

Just a few days ago, the makers had released the first look poster of actress Zarina Wahab in the film and had disclosed that she plays a character called Zubaida in the film.

It may be recalled that the makers have already shared a glimpse video of the character that actress Tabu plays in the film.

For the unaware, Tabu plays a character called Gauri Hegde in the film.

The glimpse video that the makers had shared to introduce Tabu's character in the film described her as "One fearless woman" and "Powerful Officer". The glimpse video showed Tabu slapping and threatening people.

In one scene, she is seen telling Vijay Sethupathi, "In our style, we first shoot and then talk." The glimpse video ends with her designation being displayed. "Gowri Hegde - Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax," she says even as a visual of her hitting a man with a lathi emerges.

The film has triggered huge interest in fans and film buffs ever since the unit began shooting in July last year.

A title poster of the film that was shared by the director last year had showed Vijay Sethupathi sporting a stylish pair of coolers and having a blood-stained machete in his hand. The actor was seen standing amidst cartons of wooden boxes containing currency notes.

The film is being produced by Puri Jagannath under the banner of Puri Connects and is to be presented by Charmi Kaur in collaboration with JB Motion Pictures and JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla. The collaboration with JB Motion Pictures will allow the makers to further enhance the grandeur of the movie.

Samyuktha plays the female lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi in this film, while Kannada star Duniya Vijay and Tabu portray pivotal characters that are expected to add significant weight to the narrative. The ensemble also features Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh in key supporting roles.

Sources have disclosed that Samyuktha’s character will be integral to the narrative, with ample scope for performance and emotional depth. The actress is reportedly thrilled with the story and her role.

National Award-winning music director Harshavardhan Rameshwar, whose work in films like Arjun Reddy and Animal earned widespread acclaim for its raw intensity and emotional depth, is scoring the music for the movie.

Chennai, Oct 17 (SocialNews.XYZ) Well known Tamil music director Deva, who has scored music for over 400 films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, passed away at a private hospital here on Saturday.

He was 75.

Sources in the industry said that Deva, who had already undergone a bypass surgery almost 10 years ago, was admitted to the Surya hospital in Kodambakkam for treatment on Saturday morning for health issues. However, the music director failed to respond to treatment and passed away.

The news of the demise of the accomplished music director, who goes by the title 'Thenisai Thendral', has sent shockwaves across the Tamil film industry and plunged the entire industry here into gloom.

Deva, who was born on November 20 1950, is credited with having scored music for several blockbusters including Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annamalai', 'Arunachalam' and 'Baasha'.

The music director, who made his debut in Tamil cinema in the year 1986 with the Tamil film 'Maatukaara Mannaru', is also known for having introduced the popular Gaana form of music to cinema. Deva, who composed several Gaana songs, has also sung several numbers.

Only a couple of weeks ago, the music director, who participated in the success meet of the Tamil film 'Meesaya Murukku 2' had disclosed why he had introduced Gaana songs to Tamil cinema.

"I was the 28th music director who got introduced to the film indsutry at a time when music director Ilaiyaraaja was ruling the roost. Before me, 27 music directors had made their debut and could not sustain. It is not a small thing if I could sustain at a time the music scene was dominated by two great music composers. On the one hand was Ilaiyaraaja, an iconic composer and on the other was A R Rahman. Any song I composed would either sound like a song composed by Raaja or if I scored a western number, it would sound like Rahman. It was under these circumstances that I wanted an identity for myself and therefore brought the Gaana songs," Deva had said in the function.

Deva, who is a winner of the Tamil Nadu government's prestigious Kalaimamani Award, had won Tamil Nadu government's State Film Award in 1990 for the first time.

Deva's son Srikanth Deva is a popular music director himself and his nephew Jai is a popular actor in Tamil cinema.

Sources close to the late music director say that the mortal remains of the accomplished music director will be taken to his residence in Vadapalani by around 2 pm this afternoon after which it will be kept for the public and those from the industry to pay homage.

The news of the music director's wedding was confirmed after the Telangana Chief Minister's office put out a post on its X timeline saying that Sun Group Chairman Kalanidhi Maran and his wife Kavery Maran had called on the Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee hills to invite him to the wedding reception of his daughter Kavya Maran, which was to be held in Chennai on November 21.

The post put out by the Telangana CM's office read, "Sun Group Chairman Shri Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Smt. Kavery Maran, met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills and invited him to the wedding reception of their daughter, Kavya Maran."

It further said, "The wedding reception of Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander is scheduled to be held in Chennai on November 21.

Unconfirmed reports claim the wedding is scheduled to be held in Greece on November 11.

News reports about Anirudh planning to wed Kavya Maran first began in 2025. In June last year, the music director had trashed rumours doing the rounds on the Internet claiming that he was to wed Kavya Maran.

Taking to his timeline on X, the ace music director had then said, "Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys. Please stop spreading rumours."

The rumour mills started working overtime after a post on Reddit claimed that the duo were seeing each other for over a year and that they were considering marriage.

The news of their wedding comes at a time when director Nelson Dilipkumar's 'Jailer 2', featuring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead and having music by Anirudh Ravichander, has gone on to emerge a superhit worldwide.

Actress Femina George, who plays a pivotal role in the film, took to her Instagram page to share the update.

She wrote,"Certified U/A 13+! #orijinal is all set to play with TIME on the big screen. Catch the time-bending thriller in theatres on October 23!"

The film is slated to hit screens worldwide on October 23 this year.

Actor Sreenath Bhasi had shared the release date announcement poster put out by the makers, who, in their post, had said, "Finally, the TIME has come.#orijinal hits the BIG screen on Oct 23rd."

The film has triggered huge interest in fans ever since the makers released a teaser.

The teaser that was released took audiences deeper into the film’s unusual world of time travel, fantasy, humour, thrills and emotions. The teaser was unveiled through Think Music’s official YouTube channel.

The teaser offered a glimpse into the time-bending world of ‘Orijinal’, with Sreenath Bhasi appearing in two distinct looks, immediately raising questions about the connection between the characters and the film’s central premise. On Thursday, actor, producer and parliamentarian Kamal Haasan had congratulated his dear friend Rajinikanth in the wake of the latter's film 'Jailer 2' going on to emerge a superhit worldwide.

Taking to his X timeline to pen a congratulatory post to Rajinikanth and the whole team of Jailer 2, which released on Thursday, Kamal Haasan, in Tamil said, "News has come in that Jailer 2, starring my dear friend Rajinikanth, which released today has emerged a superhit worldwide. Heartfelt congratulations to my friend Rajinikanth, director @Nelsondilpkumar, music composer @anirudhofficial, and the @sunpictures team."

National Award winning actor, director and producer Dhanush, who watched the first day first show of the film, was the first to congratulate the team.

The film, which is being directed by Ravikumar, best known for having directed superhit Tamil films like 'Indru Netru Naalai' and 'Ayalaan', will be the seventh film to feature Soori as the lead actor.

The film, which has been awaiting a release for at least four years, is a full-fledged romantic comedy that has been produced by well known producer C V Kumar.

Director Janakiraman, who announced the release date of his film through a statement, which he shared on his social media timelines, said, "After years of hard work, dedication, and overcoming numerous hurdles, we have finally cleared all the obstacles and are ready to bring our film to the big screen."

He went on to say, "Due to limited theatre availability, we have scheduled the release of Titanic (Tamil) for 23rd October. We strongly believe that a good film will always find its place in the hearts of its audience, regardless of when it arrives."

Stating that his film Titanic was a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, emotions, and fun, he said, "I promise that this film will take you back to your school days, remind you of your first love, and walk you through the journey of love from those innocent moments to married life. It is a story that I hope will make you smile, laugh, reminisce, and connect with your own life experiences."

"As a filmmaker, nothing means more to me than seeing our film connect with you and become a memorable part of your lives," Janakiraman said and added, "I sincerely request your love, support, and encouragement for our film, Titanic (Tamil). Apart from Kalaiyarasan and Anandhi, the film will also feature several other gifted actors including actress Ashna Zaveri and actor Kaali Venkat.

Posting a video clip of Jayasurya dubbing, it wrote, "It's been a while since our last update - so here's a little one. Apart from Jayasurya, the film will feature an ensemble cast including actors Murali Sharma, Vinay Rai, Siddique, Sai Kumar, Nandalal Krishnamoorthy, Rithika Singh, Kavya Shetty, Anson Paul, and Sirajudheen. In an exclusive interview to IANS, Andrea Jeremiah, when asked about her upcoming films as a producer, said, "So, henceforth, I'm only going to be producing films that I write. So, working on a couple of scripts. And, when they're ready to go, then I'll be a producer again. Not until then."

For the unaware, 'Mask' not only had Andrea producing it, but also playing the antagonist in it.

I'm coming with a very fresh, open mind. And I want to know what the show has to offer. But the reason I'm here is I'm always first and foremost a musician."

Andrea, who has proven her mettle both as an actress and as a singer, said, "I think music is the single greatest thing about life. So, it's kept me going. It keeps billions of people going through life, hard times, good times. You have a song for every mood. That's the sort of life we all lead."

Talking about the reality show, the actress said, "The music has to come from the talent. And being able to spot that talent and having a role to play in someone's life in that way is a very special thing."

The singer and actress admits that she is looking forward to judging as the show is about music and because she will be with buddies.

"Karthik and Benny are like my buddies. So, I'm looking forward to having a lot of fun. And music is always my happy place. It's nice to be an actress. It's a boss vibe to be a producer. But music is my happy place," she declares.

Apart from Andrea, singers Benny Dayal and Karthik are the other two judges of the reality show 'Tamil Idol'. More significantly, Oscar winner A R Rahman will serve as a super mentor on this show. The show, which is to be aired on Sony Vizha and SonyLiv, will be aired during weekends. This season of 'Tamil Idol' will feature 40 episodes, each of which will have a duration of one and a half hours.

The publicists of the film took to their social media account to put out a poster confirming the development. They wrote, "Certified U/A! It may be recalled that the producer of the film, Dr D Arulanandhu, in an exclusive interview to IANS, had confirmed that the film had already recovered around 80 per cent of its investment even before its release.

During an interaction, the producer of the film, Dr D Arulanandhu, was asked if the film had, even before its release, broken even.

Responding to the question, the producer disclosed that the film had been made on an investment of around Rs 11 crore and pointed out that almost 80 per cent of what they had invested had already been covered.

Pointing out that all the rights of the film had got sold like hot pancakes, the producer had said, "I have got sixty per cent by way of OTT rights. We have recovered almost 80 per cent of the total money invested in the project even before its release."

In fact, the film had been in the news recently when OTT platform Netflix procured the film's post-theatrical digital streaming rights even before the completion of shooting.

Giving out details about the romantic entertainer, producer Arulanandhu said that he was attracted to this story because of the way it was narrated.

Stating that the story would revolve around a young boy and the developments in his life from the time he was a 19-year-old till the time he turned 26, the producer said the film would connect to everyone who watched it.

"Even a 45-year-old man would be able to connect with what happens in this film. Everyone who watches it will be able to relate to at least a couple of incidents that happen in it," he said.

The film, which has raised huge expectations among youngsters, is believed to revolve around a boy, who, due to certain extraordinary circumstances, gets admitted to a women's college. His experiences, being the lone boy in a college full of women, forms a significant part of the film.

Haiku has been produced by Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu under the banner of Vision Cinema House. The film stars Aegan, Sridevi and Femina George in the lead roles, with Hari Haran Ram contributing additional screenplay.

On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Priyesh Guruswamy and editing by Sakthi Pranesh. Siddhu Kumar has scored the music and Prem has headed the art direction department. The film is slated to hit screens on October 23 this year.

The character was revealed as part of the birthday celebrations of the actor, who celebrated his birthday on Thursday.

Primeshow Entertainment, the production house producing the film, took to its social media timelines to wish the actor a happy birthday. It wrote, "HE HUNTER. THE WARRIOR. THE BEAST. Wishing our Mega Supreme Hero @IamSaiDharamTej a BLOCKBUSTER BIRTHDAY from Team #SambaralaYetiGattu. The world is about to witness a whole new dimension of him as ‘BALI’ on the big screens this Sankranthi. #HBDSaiDurghaTej."

The makers also released a poster of the actor from the film on the occasion that showed him carrying a sword and a shield and standing in front of what appeared to be a goods train.

It may be recalled that the makers had announced only last month that the team had begun dubbing for the film.

It released a video clip showing the unit holding a pooja before beginning the dubbing work of the film.

Sharing the video clip, the production house wrote, "#SambaralaYetiGattu Dubbing Begins with a divine pooja. Post-production works progressing at full speed to bring an ambitious and spectacular theatrical experience on JANUARY 12th 2027. #SambaralaSankranthi."

For the unaware, the film is slated to hit screens worldwide on January 12 next year.

The unit of the film had, only in June this year, wrapped up its Mumbai schedule.

Sources close to the unit had told IANS that the Mumbai schedule involved a prominent Bollywood actor. The inclusion of the national-level talent was expected to enhance the film's reach while strengthening its appeal across audiences nationwide.

The upcoming film has triggered huge interest among fans and film buffs for a number of reasons. Directed by Rohith KP and produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under Primeshow Entertainment, the film is being mounted on a grand scale with a budget of ₹125 crore, making it the biggest project in Sai Durgha Tej’s career.

The unit had shot a spectacular action sequence choreographed by National Award winning stunt choreographer Peter Hein in September last year.

Sources had then claimed that Sai Durgha Tej would face off against a Bollywood superstar, who would be seen in a powerful antagonist's role. Extensive CGI work is also progressing rapidly to elevate the cinematic experience.

Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi will be seen playing the female lead in this film, which will also feature a huge star cast including actors Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Saikumar, Ananya Nagalla and Ravi Krishna.

Sources claim Sai Durgha Tej has been working for the past two years on Sambarala Yeti Gattu, preparing for this transformative and emotionally intense role.

The film is to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Sources claim Sambarala Yeti Gattu will be a landmark Pan-India action drama.

The teaser shows that the story is set in the village of Rangapuram. The story takes a mysterious turn when all the idols from an ancient temple go missing and a villager is found murdered.

The temple priest however believes that all the idols will return within a stipulated timeframe. An atheist police officer is assigned to investigate the unusual case, setting the stage for a compelling clash between faith, reason, and the unexplained.

Director Ludheer Byreddy appears to have crafted an engaging narrative that seamlessly blends mystical, devotional, and action-driven elements.

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas makes a powerful impression as an atheist police officer who places his faith in humanity rather than God. Samyuktha plays the female lead, while Mahesh Manjrekar appears in a pivotal role as the temple priest. Saurabh Sachdeva, JD Chakravarthy, Shivaji Raja, and Getup Srinu feature in other significant roles.

Sources say that the occult thriller's shooting is nearing completion and point out that the post-production work of the film is progressing simultaneously.

Produced by Mahesh Chandu, the film boasts of a fine technical team. Production design for the film has been handled by Siva Kamesh D while cinematography for the film is by Harish Kannan. The teaser makes it evident that Savithri (Keerthy Suresh), a young lawyer, aspires to become a great lawyer one day like her senior Markandeyan (Mysskin). However, nobody seems to believe in her abilities.

The teaser shows Savithri has one remarkable trait -- she is courageous. The young lawyer is seen boldly asking a judge in open court, "In case, you were offered a bribe of Rs 10 lakhs to pass a one-sided verdict, where would you prefer taking the bribe?"

Although the film will be a court room drama, the teaser shows that it will have quite a generous dose of humour as well. Balasaravanan plays Keerthy's senior in the film and their interactions, as witnessed in the teaser, appear humourous and highly enjoyable.

The teaser has a scene that shows Markandeyan taking exception to Savithri questioning him in the presence of the judge. This scene gives the impression that the story will revolve around a rookie lawyer locking horns with her mentor in a gripping courtroom drama.

The makers have already made it clear that the film will hit screens on November 20 this year.

It may be recalled that the film was originally scheduled to release on July 24. However, the makers chose to postpone the film's release to November 20.

The production house had released the first and second looks from the film in May this year. The first look poster had Keerthy Suresh turning around to look back, even as lawyers around her were seen looking ahead. The production house had then said, "Calm face. Unstoppable force. Now it’s her game... Presenting the First Look of #SathyavanSavithiri."

Sources close to the unit of the film have disclosed that the film revolves around two lawyers -- played by Keerthy Suresh and director Mysskin. Sources say that Mysskin plays Keerthy's senior advocate in the film. "When her boss chooses to take the side of wrong-doers in a particular case, Keerthy attempts to make him see reason. However, it is at this point, she sees his true colours. The case changes the course of Keerthy's life. How she handles the issue is what the film is all about," says a source in the know.

The film, apart from Keerthy Suresh, will also feature Heartbeat Charukesh, Balasaravanan, Madhusudhanan, Shilpa Manjunath, R Sundararajan, Brigida, Mala Parvathi, A Venkatesh and others in pivotal roles.

Sources claim 'Ranabaali' is inspired by real incidents from the 1850s that never found space in mainstream history books. They say it will be based on real incidents in the time period of 1850-1900 and that the film will look to showcase incidents that the British misrepresented in history.

Sources have also pointed out that Ranabaali will not be a biopic, and not a textbook retelling but will be a cinematic reconstruction of an era built from multiple real accounts, oral histories, and suppressed records.

After 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade', 'Ranabaali' will be the third film in which Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda will be seen appearing together as a pair.

The trailer then shows that not just Suraj Venjaramoodu's character but a whole lot of villains are wondering who is behind certain developments.

At one point, a weary Suraj Venjaramoodu is seen asking his accomplices, "Have you managed to find him or not?"

For a minute, one is led to believe that Tiger Muthuvel Pandian has gone into hiding but almost immediately, the trailer clears the confusion.

It shows that Tiger Muthuvel Pandian has chosen to go off radar by pretending to be a driver and he has chosen to lie low to find out if the chain of command among the villains goes any higher.

The trailer also gives away the fact that Tiger Muthuvel Pandian has used snipers to attack his enemies and one among them, played by S J Suryah, says that even they can retort in kind.

The trailer also has an interesting conversation between the characters played by Rajinikanth and Vidya Balan. She asks him if he wants tea or coffee and he politely refuses. She responds saying, "The choice is between tea or coffee. It is not between whether to drink or not."

A person warns Tiger Muthuvel Pandian about the dreaded "Kalpaks", who, he says, will not allow anyone to live. Muthuvel Pandian smiles and replies, "Oh dear, I didn't know. Shall we see?"

He then issues a warning to Kalpaks himself. Listing out ways and means used by thugs to strike terror in the hearts of victims, he tells Kalpaks," All this is the style employed in the time of your father. Now, getting all your enemies to one place and bombing that place is what is the present trend."

I'm coming with a very fresh, open mind. And I want to know what the show has to offer. But the reason I'm here is I'm always first and foremost a musician."

Andrea, who has proven her mettle both as an actress and as a singer, said, "I think music is the single greatest thing about life. So, it's kept me going. It keeps billions of people going through life, hard times, good times. You have a song for every mood. That's the sort of life we all lead."

Talking about the reality show, the actress said, "The music has to come from the talent. And being able to spot that talent and having a role to play in someone's life in that way is a very special thing."

The singer and actress admits that she is looking forward to judging as the show is about music and because she will be with buddies.

Apart from Sivaji, the film will also feature a host of actors including Ravi Krishna, Kasireddy, Bharan, Khushboo, Radhya, and Mounika. The film unit has successfully completed the film's shooting in a span of 72 days, the sources informed.

A poster released recently by the makers to mark the completion of shooting shows Shivaji looking dapper in traditional attire.

Sources claim that director Balaji VR, who is making his directorial debut through this film, had made it as a good youthful family entertainer.

"At a time when family dramas are on the decline, this film has been made in a way that everyone in the family can enjoy together. It will have a good message and plenty of laughter throughout," says a source close to the film's unit.

The film boasts of a sound technical team. It has music by Praveen K. Pothunuri and cinematography by the talented Venkat. Ashok Vadlamudi and Bhanu Mogalipuvvu have provided the dialogues for this complete family entertainer.

Taking to her Instagram page to thank him soon after Sivakarthikeyan met the team of her superhit film 'Modha Rathri', Anishma Anilkumar wrote, "The girl who watched your movies on repeat (mode) in 12th grade, sitting at home with a fractured leg, would never believe how calm I was trying to look yesterday."

She went on to add, "Never felt this nostalgic in my life. My mind went straight back to 2013. From watching 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' on Kalaignar TV, and 'Paakadhe Paakadhe' on Sun Music yesterday, I finally met you."

"You are an inspiration to everyone who dares to dream. Thank you for the inspiration, sir. And as you said, “முயற்சி பண்ணிட்டே இருக்கணும் (One must keep on trying) @sivakarthikeyan," she wrote.

For the unaware, Anishma Anilkumar played the lead along with Rishikanth in director Raja Karuppusamy's Tamil film 'Modha Rathri'. The film, which got off to a slow start, soon went on to emerge a superhit.

Soon after the success of the film, the film's director Raja Karuppusamy penned a note of gratitude to Anishma Anilkumar in which he disclosed how both he and the actress had wept after shooting the climax of the film.

Taking to his Instagram page to pen the note of gratitude, the director began by asking if he should thank her for her support or if he should apologise.

He had said, "Okay!!!! Where do I even start? Should I say Thank You or should I say Sorry? Because honestly, words are not enough for everything you’ve done and for all the support you’ve given me and my film."

He went on to say, "Firstly, as an artist, I’m not saying this just because you are my heroine. Indian cinema is going to celebrate you. You are one of the most dedicated artists I’ve ever worked with. That dance, that final scream, that post-climax vent out — maybe they are just scenes to others. But to us, they are much more than that. I still remember after the climax, both of us were crying… We didn’t even know whether you had to console me or I had to console you. And @jeeshma_jeechu chechi love you and thank you for giving love and support. Seriously, Cinema will hold you tight. Thank you, SUPER STAR @anishma_anilkumar."

The director then went on to praise Anishma for the support she had provided to him and his team.

"And as a human being, the comfort, love and warmth you give to me, my team and everyone on the set is truly incredible. Even after all the love, success and fame you’ve received, you’re still the same person I met before all of this. Personally, you’ve stood by me even when some of the closest people in my circle couldn’t. For that, I’ll be forever grateful to you (sic)," he had said.

Chennai, Oct 13 (SocialNews.XYZ)Actor Jai's next film, a horror comedy which is being directed by Siva Prasanna, went on floors with a traditional pooja ceremony in Tenkasi in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday.

Sources close to the unit of the film said that the film, which is being produced by the production house Thyagaraja Talkies, is yet to be titled and is tentatively being referred to as Thyagaraja Talkies Production Number 1.

Popular actress Delna Davis is to play the female lead in this horror comedy, which is being directed by debut director Siva Prasanna.

District collector Ranjit Singh IAS was the special guest at the inaugural function of the film. He formally launched the film by switching on the camera for the first shot. Producer A M Prabhakaran sounded the clap for the first shot in the presence of well known industrialist S Saminatha Pandian. The launch event was attended by the entire cast and crew of the film.

Sources in the know say that the shooting which began today in Tenkasi would continue to go on for the next 23 days.

The film boasts of an impressive technical team. Cinematography for the horror comedy is to be handled by Vijay Ulaganath. Editing for the film is to be by V J Sabu Joseph. Art direction for the film is to be by Jayachandran while costumes in the film are to be designed by Abhinandhini M.

Stunts in the film are to be choreographed by Ram Kumar. Elango Ekambaram is the executive producer of this film, which is being produced by A M Prabhakaran.

Apart from this film, Jai is working on a number of films including director Aishwarya Rajinikanth's eagerly awaited film 'Texla'. For the unaware, Jai will be seen playing the lead along with Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramudu in 'Texla'.

Sources close to the unit have told IANS that Suraj Venjaramudu would be seen playing the dad of Jai in that film. George Maryan, who was hailed for his soul touching performance in the blockbuster film 'Dragon', will be seen playing a pivotal role in 'Texla'.

Taking to his X timeline to respond to Sai Abhyankkar's post expressing excitement at being a part of #SK27, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, "Thambi! Super excited to have you on board! This FDFS is going to be (fire symbol) with your music!#SK27."

Sai Abhyankkar, in his post to Sivakarthikeyan, had said, "Super excited and thrilled to be working with @Siva_Kartikeyan anna on #sk27. Have NEVER missed a single FDFS of your films, na ! And now, being a part of this… This is gonna be an absolute BLAST in theatres!"

For the unaware, popular Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan's next film, which is being directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan, went on floors with a traditional pooja ceremony in the city in September this year.

The film, which is yet to be titled, is tentatively being referred to as #SK27 and is being produced by well known production house Sathya Jyothi Films.

Sharing a video clip of the inaugural function on its social media handles, the popular production house had said, "A powerful start to a promising story. #SK27 begins with a pooja. On floors today. The film will feature Kayadu Lohar, who has been making waves with her performances in the superhit films 'Dragon' and 'Immortal', as the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan.

Apart from Sivakarthikeyan and Kayadu Lohar, the film is likely to feature popular comedians Sudhakar and VTV Ganesh among others. Sources say character artistes George Maryan and Babloo Prithviraj too are likely to be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

On the technical front, the film will have cinematography by one of the best in the business, Om Prakash, and editing by Kalaivanan, who was also the editor of Sivakarthikeyan's blockbuster film, 'Amaran'. Music for the film is by Sai Abhyankkar. Costumes for the new film are being designed by Praveen Raja while stunts in the film are being choreographed by Steven Kumar.

Director Ramkumar Balakrishnan, who is directing this film, is best known for having directed the superhit Tamil film 'Parking' which walked away with three National Awards including the award for Best Screenplay and The Best Regional Movie (Tamil) at the 71st National Film Awards.

I watch you work tirelessly, chase your dreams, be the most devoted mother, and still find time to be my best friend, biggest strength and favourite travel partner!"

He went on to add, "But what I love just as much is that ridiculously funny, mischievous little brat in you that only I get to see! The one who drives me crazy and makes me laugh like no one else! It may be recalled that actor Prasanna, who is known for having delivered several commendable performances, had disclosed that he was looking to realise two of his long pending dreams-- that of becoming a commercial pilot and an AI expert, thanks to the inspiration he had received from actor Ajith Kumar.

In an exclusive interview to IANS earlier, Prasanna, who had acted with Ajith Kumar in 'Good, Bad, Ugly', had said, "This year is going to be very different for me. I have dug out two of the wishes that have been on my bucket list for a long time and am realising them."

"It was my dream to become a pilot when I was in school. Then, after pursuing acting as a serious career, somehow I put it on the backburner. Now, I have got another opportunity to realise that dream. So, I am working on that as well," the actor said.

"Probably, this time, next year, I would have finished my flight school lessons and would have got my commercial pilot licence also. I would like to thank Ajith sir because he might be an actor and he might be pursuing a serious career but he made me realise that you can make time to pursue your passion as well," he hoped.

Prasanna had further said, "When I was working on 'Good Bad Ugly' with Ajith sir, there was one thing that stood out about him for me. The kind of time, effort and passion that he has put into motor racing was very inspiring. I took that inspiration from him and realised that I needn't stick to just acting and that I could also simultaneously also pursue my other dreams."

Talking about his decision to also simultaneously pursue his dream of becoming an AI expert, Prasanna had said, "Since Covid, I wanted to study something that would equip me as more than just an actor. So, I had been studying up about AI at a periphery level and that created an interest in me to study AI at a deeper level."

Chennai, Oct 13 (SocialNews.XYZ) The makers of director Mysskin’s eagerly awaited action thriller ‘Train’, featuring actor Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, have now announced that their film will hit screens on December 4 this year.

It may be recalled that the film has already been cleared by the Censor Board for release with an U/A certificate.

Producer Kalaippuli S Thanu, whose production house V Creations is producing the film, took to his social media timelines to drop the update.

Thanu wrote, "Get ready for the ride!#Train storms into cinemas worldwide on 'DECEMBER 4'!"

A couple of months ago, Thanu had announced the news that the film had been cleared by the Censor Board for release. He had then said, "Train censored U/A."

For the unaware, director Mysskin's fast-paced action thriller, 'Train', featuring actor Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, has triggered huge interest in fans and film buffs ever since the makers released a teaser recently.

The high octane 43-second teaser shows a speeding train under the control of some vicious people. Scared passengers fearing for their lives look on as one man (Vijay Sethupathi) wages a lone battle. It's evident from the teaser that the train, which resembles a speeding monster, is not halting at any station that it is scheduled to stop at. More significantly, those who seem to have taken control of the train seem to have come well prepared. What is their mission? Who are these people? And who importantly is the person trying to take them on? Like all other Mysskin thrillers, 'Train' too promises to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.

Train, which is being produced by V Creations and directed by Mysskin, will feature a host of stars including Nasser, Shruti Haasan, Yugi Sethu, Narain, KS Ravikumar, Sampath Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Ira Dayanand and Preethy Karan.

The film has cinematography by Fowzia Fathima and music by Mysskin himself.

Interestingly, Narain in a post on social media last year had released pictures of himself on the sets of Train. The pictures revealed that he was playing a police officer in the film. The disclosure led to speculation if whether Mysskin was attempting to build a Mysskin Cinematic Universe with Train. The reason for the speculation was that Narain had also played the role of a cop in Mysskin’s superhit film ‘Anjaathey’. However, there has been no confirmation regarding this.

Mythri Movie Makers, which introduced the fresh pairing of Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty with the National Award-winning musical romantic entertainer 'Uppena', is now set to present another intriguing love story.

The film, tentatively being referred to as #MythriInLove, was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony, marking the beginning of an exciting cinematic journey for the young team.

MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao handed over the script to the makers while Sahu Garapati and Archana switched on the camera. Nandini Reddy sounded the clapboard and Sowmya Yerneni directed the first shot.

Medha Meka, the daughter of acclaimed actors Srikanth Meka and Ooha Meka (Also known as Sivaranjani in Tamil), has completed her bachelor's degree in marketing. She embarks on her acting journey with this film.

Along with her, Jai Jasti, a passionate dreamer who pursued filmmaking and Business Economics, makes his acting debut as the male lead. During his academic journey, Jasti developed expertise in sound, editing, screenwriting, and theatre arts.

He subsequently worked as an assistant director under Anil Ravipudi on 'Gaali Sampath' and 'F3', while also gaining experience through a few independent film projects.

Sources close to the unit say that the new-age romantic comedy, #MythriInLove will explore the peculiar dynamics of a relationship between a boy and a girl, blending romance, humour, and family drama into an entertaining cinematic experience. The film, sources claim, will look to appeal to audiences across all sections.

Prithvi Vanam, who earned recognition for directing popular web series such as 30 Weds 21 and Middle Bench Ravi, makes his feature-film directorial debut with this project.

Director Mahesh Babu P, known for Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty and Andhra King Taluka, is to be associated with the film as its creator. One other interesting aspect about the film is that Sai Harsha, the son of popular lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry, is to score the music for the movie.

The makers unveiled the film’s first look poster, introducing the fresh pairing of Jai Jasti and Medha Meka. The poster beautifully captures the warmth, tenderness, and magic of young love. Jai sports a casual, colourful checked shirt and a beard, while Medha looks elegant with her long, flowing hair and a soft smile.
