Mumbai, Aug 27 (SocialNews.XYZ) After being questioned by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell over his show India’s Got Latent, comedian Samay Raina sprinkled laughter to his past run-ins with them as he has been felicitated by the cyber cell for promoting awareness.

Samay was being felicitated for participating in an awareness film about cybercrimes by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at an event, where Maharashtra Cyber unveiled its cyber-awareness short film Digital Arrest and the 1930 Maharashtra Cyber Anthem.

Raina, who contributed to both projects, went on to speak about the time when the cyber cell unit had registered complaints related to controversial comments made on his YouTube show India’s Got Latent.

“Maharashtra cyber and I go way back,” Raina said leaving Fadnavis and other entertainment personalities in splits.

He then quipped about how the Cyber Cell is very active.

“The Maharashtra Cyber Cell is very active. I can tell you this for sure Today, for the first time a cyber cell officer picked up a comedian from his home only to felicitate him,” said Samay.

This comment left Fadnavis bursting out in laughter.

Samay also joked about how he already had Maharashtra Cyber’s number saved because he often got calls from them during his India’s Got Latent controversy.

"Thank you for the felicitation, sir. My association with Maha Cyber has been going on for a very long time. 1930 is really a great number. I have actually saved it because I often get calls from there," he said.

Samay first performed at multiple open mics since 2017. He began opening for well-known comedians like Anirban Dasgupta and Abhishek Upmanyu in Pune. In 2019, he participated in Comicstaan 2 due to a suggestion from comedian Aakash Gupta. Later, he became the joint winner of Comicstaan 2.

In 2025, he announced a nationwide tour across India, "Still Alive And Unfiltered", which was touted as a comeback, following the controversy surrounding his show, India's Got Latent. The tour commenced in Bengaluru on 15 August and ended in Delhi on 5 October.

In 2026, he released his debut comedy special, Still Alive, on YouTube, after almost a year of hiatus from the platform, which became the most viewed stand-up comedy special on YouTube.

He later announced two collaborations with Netflix India; the first being the second season of his show India's Got Latent, which would be streaming on Netflix as well as YouTube, and the second being a new stand-up special.

Talking about Rupali, she is one of the highest-paid television actresses in India. The actress is best known for portraying Monisha Singh Sarabhai in the sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Anupamaa Joshi in the drama Anupamaa.

She made her acting debut at age seven, in her father's directorial venture Saaheb in 1985. Rupali featured opposite Tapas Paul in her father's Bengali film Balidan. Despite the success of the film, she no longer had any further feat in Bengali cinema.

However, one laddoo contained a coin as a special gift, and the audience member who found it would win a cash prize. A lady emerged as the lucky winner, discovering the coin and winning Rs. 10,000.

Harssh then asked her what she planned to do with the prize money. The lady revealed that she wanted to use it for her daughter.

Reflecting on the unconditional love of a mother, Bharti said, “Maa ki feeling sirf maa hi jaan sakti hai. Jo maa banti hai, use pata hota hai ki woh apne bachchon ke liye kya-kya karna chahti hai. Lekin unhone itni achhi baat kahi hai ki inki beti homoeopathic doctor ban rahi hain, toh inke kharche-paani ke liye woh yeh paise dena chahti hain.”

The actor got candid about his equation with Karan Mehra and Hina Khan, even years after their season ended.

"Karan and I are very close, we share a very special bond even after all these years. In fact, we met for dinner last week and it was just like old times, we picked up exactly where we left off," he said.

He added, "Apart from him, Hina, Neha (Saroopa), Nidhi (Uttam) - I am in touch with all of them, we have a little group and we keep checking on each other. Yeh Rishta gave us friends for life, not just co-stars. It's really unfortunate what happened with Hina's health, it had shaken all of us. She is such a strong and positive person, one of the strongest I know. We all pray and wish for her recovery. Seeing her fight this battle with so much grace and courage is truly inspiring for all of us."

On being asked if he would ever take up a controversial reality show like Bigg Boss like Hina and Karan, the actor said he finds the format scary.

"Bigg Boss is scary for me, to be honest.”

The actor said that the “format is so intense” that “you are cut off from the world, that scares me”.

Ayush said: “I would be more keen for something like 'The Traitors' maybe, that has more strategy and mystery to it. But yes, I have worked with Salman Sir on 'Race 3' and he is amazing. I think he will be the only reason I would ever even consider doing Bigg Boss.”

“Just to be in a show hosted by him again would be special. Otherwise, Bigg Boss is too daunting for someone like me," he concluded.

Apart from acting, Ayush, who has worked in shows such as 'Tera Kya Hoga Alia' and 'Janani', has also worked as an assistant/second-unit director with choreographer-director Remo D'Souza on major Bollywood feature films including 'Race 3' and 'Street Dancer 3D'.

Reflecting on how the industry has changed, Ayush feels his generation of actors missed out on the social media boom.

"The unscripted shows have really taken off now, and it's amazing to see. During our season of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', social media and these digital platforms were almost non-existent. We didn't have Instagram, reels, or all these opportunities to connect with fans directly. I feel we have definitely missed out on a goldmine of opportunity.”

He added: “Today actors can build so much through social media, brand collaborations and unscripted content. We were purely dependent on the show's TRP. If we had these platforms back then, our reach and growth would have been completely different," he noted.

Asked if he agrees that the show “MTV Hustle” is still niche considering a majority chooses commercial music over Hip-Hop, MC Sqaure said: “I feel that art is such a thing that if it earns four paise, then it is called commercial. I don't believe in the definition of commercial as such—that a particular type of music is commercial.”

“Nowadays, you must have seen that even underground music has become mainstream music,” added the rapper, whose real name is Abhishek Baisla.

“There are many such examples in front of us. Even our own songs have many such examples. So, it is nothing like this that it is for a particular audience. Those who like to listen to songs also watch this show. And you get to listen to other songs as well,” he said.

The rapper, who has crooned numbers such as “Ram Ram," "Chhore Ncr Aale," and "Naina Ki Talwar" added: “You get to listen to the talks as well. The talks are also very good, and you get to learn. So, it is for everyone. It is not for a niche audience.”

Reflecting on her breakout show ‘Kkusum’, Nausheen said she feels blessed that the title role is still remembered after so many years.

“I feel very blessed to have had a title role in ‘Kkusum’ that people still remember even after so many years. People don’t really get this kind of opportunity today. Very rarely are character roles remembered,” Nausheen said.

She added: “Now, with so much content, people just flip channels and are often on their phones while watching TV. That’s another reason why recall is so low,” she noted.”

Nausheen credited the era’s storytelling and music for the show’s impact.

“Also, the scripts were different back then. We used have trp of 18-25. ‘Kkusum’ had a title song that became the representation of the show. In those days, title songs played a huge role in the marketing of a show,” she said.

Nausheen was just a teenager when she started playing a woman in her late 20s to 40s in the show with the plot shifting ahead with leap.

She said: “When I look back, I realize I was very, very young to be playing a mature role. I was seventeen and playing someone between twenty two and forty. Personally, I’m a very childish and fun person, so playing such a mature character was always challenging. But as an actor, that’s part of the job.”

“Looking back, I think I did well. Being so young and still playing a mature role, and getting appreciation from the audience, makes me feel blessed. I’m truly thankful to Ekta Kapoor for that opportunity,” concluded the actress, who has worked in shows such as ‘Kahani Hai... Bolo Bolo’, ‘Kaal Chakra’, ‘Ganga’, ‘The Adventures of Hatim’, ‘Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka’ and ‘Vasudha’ to name a few.

Talking about the show, Kkusum followed the journey of a young, hardworking and middle class girl, Kkusum and later, after a 20 year leap on her daughter Kkumud.

Munmun took to Instagram, where she shared a video of herself along with the entire cast of her show “Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma”. The team visited the Big Apple to celebrate India’s Independence Day. Sharing glimpses from the memorable experience, the actress said she “felt ‘On top of the world’”.

She wrote in the caption: “Couldn’t have asked for a better way to kickstart our NYC journey than a visit to the iconic Empire State Building and lighting it up in our tricolour Felt ‘On top of the world’. What an experience it has been.

Talking about the actress, Munmun started her journey with Hum Sab Baraati in 2004. The actress was seen in a small role in the film Holiday directed by Pooja Bhatt. Starring Dino Morea, Gulshan Grover and Onjolee Nair, the film is a remake of the 1987 American film Dirty Dancing.

She is currently seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah based on the weekly column Duniya Ne Undha Chasma by Tarak Mehta for the magazine Chitralekha. It is one of the longest-running television series in India.

The series is set in Mumbai and follows the lives of the residents of Gokuldham Co-operative Housing Society, a diverse community with people from different cultural and regional backgrounds.

Most storylines focus on an individual, a family, or sometimes the entire society as they encounter and resolve various problems. The characters frequently support one another and celebrate festivals together, highlighting their close-knit bond.

It is a reality game show where celebrities face their fears and perform extreme, phobia-busting stunts. Season 14 took place in Romania, with actor Karan Veer Mehra winning the title and Krishna Shroff as the runner-up.

Mumbai, Aug 18 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actor Harman Singha, who was recently evicted from the reality show “The Traitors”, said his brother and reality TV star Rannvijay Singha’s experience and strong presence would have made him an immediate target.

Harman added that he wished he had learnt more from his brother before entering the show.

Asked if his brother would have done things differently, Harman told IANS: “Rannvijay would have had the same problem which happened with (co contestant) Munawar (Faruqui). When the opening batsman comes to hit the century on 30 balls, then all the bowlers, all the fielders get scared. That's what happened.”

He revealed that before entering the show, the brothers had a chat about the same thing and they agreed that they will be targeted first, regardless of whether he is innocent or a traitor.

“But I wish I had learned something else from my brother because he knows all these things very well. He is very established in reality shows. This was the first experience for me,” said Harman.

He also spoke about the show's strong concept, which pits Traitors against Innocents along with him being evicted so soon.

“I had a lot of fun, I got to experience a lot of things in my crunch time, life as an innocent till the first circle of shock, then I was picked as a traitor, so no matter how much I contributed, the show should be entertaining for the audience to watch, it should be fun for you to witness all the action and there is no better format than this.”

He added: “We were discussing that this show is so successful globally because the format is very strong. When you get into two groups, it's a constant battle that who will win, the traitors or the innocents.”

Harman wishes he had more time in the show.

“But the more you get in life, the happier you should be.”

Mumbai, Aug 18 (SocialNews.XYZ) Bengali actress Rupa Umashankar Dutta, who was arrested in connection with a Rs 1.48 lakh theft case in Mumbai’s Colaba, has been granted bail by a Metropolitan Magistrate Court.

As per advocate Sunil Pandey, the court granted her bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and directed her not to tamper with evidence or leave the country without its permission. The case stems from a complaint filed by Marine Drive resident Dimple Singhvi.

According to the complaint, her purse was stolen on July 12, 2026, while she was travelling through crowded areas between Babulnath Temple and Colaba. The purse contained a diamond-studded gold bracelet worth around Rs 1.20 lakh, Rs 10,000 in cash, Apple AirPods worth around Rs 15,000, a wallet and other personal documents.

Following the complaint, Colaba Police launched an investigation. During the probe, police obtained CCTV footage that allegedly showed Rupa Dutta following the complainant. She was subsequently arrested.

Police also claimed to have recovered some of the stolen property from her possession.

Rupa Dutta has worked in several Hindi and Bengali films. She has appeared in films such as Saathi and the Hindi television serial Jai Maa Vaishno Devi.

“Saathi”, which released in 2005, follows Varsha helps Anjali marry her love, Akash, instead of Vijay, her father's choice. So, Varsha takes Vijay to where he falls for her considering Anjali.

Meanwhile, Jai Maa Vaishno Devi is a story about the diine as well as the devotees, thus making the show a fusion of devotional narration and family drama. The show revolves around the stories of Mata Vaishno Devi and her devotees, and the transformation the goddess brings in their lives.

The cast of this divine saga also includes Pracheen Chauhan as Shridhar Pandit, the staunch devotee of the Goddess and Chahat Khanna as Shridhar Pandit’s pious wife Sunaina

Earlier, in 2022, she was arrested on allegations of pickpocketing at the Kolkata Book Fair.

Appearing for the actress, advocate Sunil Pandey argued that Rupa Dutta had been falsely implicated in the case and was a victim of circumstances. After hearing the arguments, the court granted her bail.

Vanshaj says he has never been someone who settles easily and that dreaming bigger and constantly pushing himself forward is what keeps him going.

Vanshaj told IANS: “I don't like to lose. I feel that if I have gone into something and if I am a part of it, I have to put in all my effort to win. Alliance was also a show where I knew that I deserved to become a finalist. I can perform very well, I have contributed a lot, but things didn't go according to me.”

He agrees that there was nothing in his control.

“I don't have any guilt that I lost.”

“I know that this is not a big achievement for me. I still want to move ahead. I still don't feel content. I am not satisfied at all. I feel that even if I had won Alliance, I wouldn't have been content. I wouldn't have been able to celebrate all the milestones and achievements in my life.”

He added: “Because I feel that it's not enough. I just dream all day. There is only one thing about me: I dream during the day and also when I sleep. For me, dreaming is the most important thing. That's what keeps me busy.”

Talking about his journey, he added: “I come from Dehradun. When I came to Mumbai four years ago, it was very difficult to make my place. It was extremely difficult. There were no contacts. You don't know anyone in the industry.”

“You gradually increase your followers. You work with brands. Then a few famous people recognise you. Then you meet them. If you get the opportunity to collaborate with them, you collaborate. You gradually make your name. Then a show comes and you do that. Then the next show, then the next show, then the next show. I have done so many small things like this. Alliance was my fifth captive show.”

Vanshaj concluded: “People don't know that I have done a lot of work. Whatever I used to get, I used to work. I had to make my place in Mumbai, and I won't be able to explain that to anyone. But I want to say that if I can do it, then you can do it too. It is difficult. It is very difficult to make your place. But if you keep working and keep dreaming, you will get everything.”

"Well, on paper, I’m a Chartered Accountant. I graduated from Monash University and worked in Australia before moving back to India to pursue acting. So, professionally, I probably would have continued as an accountant, perhaps in corporate finance or even investment banking," Vibhav said.

He said deep down he always aspired to be an actor.

"But honestly, deep down, I think I would have always been an aspiring actor—or a frustrated artist. I’ve always believed in not living life with the question, 'What if?' That’s one of the biggest reasons I chose to follow my heart and give acting a real shot," he said.

The actor noted that practicality would still have played a role had he stayed in finance. For the actor, the decision ultimately came down to purpose versus stability.

"I guess it comes back to something I mentioned earlier: you do some things for the soul and some for the kitchen. Thankfully, I chose the path that feeds my soul, and I feel fortunate that I took that leap of faith," said the actor.

After working in television for three years, Vibhav got a break in movies when he was approached for Padmaavat. He played the role of Itaat Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus.

He also depicted the character of 'Fahd Khan' in Lashtam Pashtam, which released in 2018.

The actor was last seen in Shaitani Rasmein in 2024. The first season also starred Naqiyah Haji. Sumit Singh and Reyaansh Vir Chdha played the lead roles in the second season.

The second installment had 14 inmates, 2 jailers, and 1 lock-up for 6 weeks. As per the rules, inmates must complete tasks to earn the in-game currency required for necessities such as food, supplies, and privileges.

Shreya Kalra is from Indore. She first appeared on the popular MTV reality show Roadies in 2020. She was a wildcard contestant on the show and was a part of Nikhil Chinapa's team. Shreya appeared in music video 'Zariya Tu' alongside Paras Kalnawat.

Asked if she thinks Kushal, who had many contestants against him in the show, was underestimated, and did that ultimately make him a stronger competitor, Mini told IANS: “I think Kushal was simply being himself. I never felt he was performing for the cameras. In real life, he is quite direct and aggressive in the way he speaks.”

“That is simply his personality, and perhaps that is exactly what his fans appreciate. I am not here to judge him. I never entered the show to lecture anyone or become someone’s therapist.”

Mini added: “On several occasions, I told him that I felt he could tone down his aggression, but he believed his audience liked him exactly the way he was.”

She agrees that his approach isolated him at times.

Mini said she admired his unwavering loyalty, adding that he stood by the people he chose from the very beginning.

“However, one thing I genuinely respect is his loyalty. The people he stood by in the very beginning, he continued to support until the end. Whether it was Sohail bhai, Reba, or me, he remained loyal throughout the journey.”

The wife of filmmaker Kabir Khan added: “Even when we disagreed or argued, he never stopped supporting me. He respected me throughout the show, and because of that, I have nothing negative to say about Kushal Tandon.”

“Alliance”, hosted by Kunal Kemmu, had 16 contestants enter as allies, but shifting loyalties, deception, and strategic gameplay tested every alliance in the race for the ultimate prize.

“Alliance” started streaming from June 26. The show is the first international adaptation of Talpa Studios' globally acclaimed Dutch format, created by John de Mol. Banijay Asia produces the Hindi-language show.

Shilpa, who made it to the Top 4 in the recently concluded Netflix show, shared a video montage featuring the moment when Shreya was announced as the winner.

“I’m absolutely on cloud nine! Words can’t describe how incredibly happy I am as my bestie Shreya won. Many Congratulations sweetheart. Very well deserved. Watching you shine fills my heart with so much pride and joy. Love you endlessly, and I couldn’t be prouder of you,” Shilpa wrote as the caption.

It was on August 5, when Shreya lifted the trophy for 'Lock Upp 2'. Television actress Shivangi Joshi emerged as the first runner-up of the reality show, while Yogesh Rawat became the second runner-up.

Ram Kapoor and Shilpa Shinde, two strong contenders of the show, got evicted extremely close to the finish line.

All the top 5 contenders – Shreya, Shivangi, Yogesh, Ram, and Shilpa were asked to make a puzzle. The contestant with the most incorrect pieces would be evicted. Ram Kapoor lost the task, leaving Shilpa, Shreya, Shivangi, and Yogesh to fight for the trophy.

Talking about Shilpa, the actress entered the Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan-hosted show as a wildcard.

The actress is popularly known for playing Angoori Manmohan Tiwari in &TV's Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!. and winning Bigg Boss Season 11 in 2017.

In 2017, Shinde accused television producer Sanjay R. Kohli of sexual harassment and filed a police complaint. The allegations arose amid an ongoing dispute over her exit from the television series Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!. Kohli denied the allegations, and the dispute received significant media coverage.

Earlier this year, Shilpa in a podcast with Bharti Singh said that the complaint had not been genuine and had been made in the context of her contractual dispute with the producers of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!

Mumbai, Aug 6 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actress Akanksha Chamola has broken her silence on the remark that sparked chatter after she said she wanted her "dog" instead of her estranged husband, Gaurav Khanna, on “Lock Upp 2” as a visitor.

During an interaction with the media, Akanksha said she was craving the comfort of loved ones during her stint in the show and that her pet, along with her parents, represented her real comfort zone.

“I really wanted to have my comfort zone. Obviously, I am getting separated from Gaurav. I would not find him coming to the show to be a comforting thing for me,” she told the media.

The actress added: “He must have come as per his own wish, but for me, it was not a comfort zone. I wanted someone close to me. I wanted my parents and, yes, I wanted my dog.”

Akanksha had revealed that she and Gaurav have been living separately for a year and are heading for a divorce as she entered the Netflix show earlier in July

Later on in the show, Akanksha had revealed that she was bisexual and her husband Gaurav knew about her sexuality.

The show, which Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan hosted, saw popular names such as Shilpa Shinde, Shreya Kalra Akanksha Chaudhary, Yogesh Rawat, Sunita Ahuja, Ram Kapoor, Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopra, Sufi Motiwala, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Madhuri Jain Grover, Riyaz Aly and Varun Yadav aka Laila to name a few.

In the latest episode of “Lock Upp 2”, At Risk contestants Akanksha Chamola, Shilpa Shinde and Ram Kapoor named Shreya as the second finalist after Shivangi Joshi.

While having a conversation with her friend Shilpa, Shreya questioned why contestants with prior reality show experience such as Yogesh Rawat failed to realise that isolating one participant could strengthen that person's position in the competition.

“Well, I can understand that Ram has no reality show background, nor does Varun, but Yogesh can’t see what’s happening? Seriously, you have done two reality shows. If I were in that group, I’d still die with the person who is getting cornered,” Shreya said.

She added: “You kept cornering that person and made her the finalist.She reached the finale because of your foolishness. I am not that smart. In the beginning I only wanted to stay for two weeks.”

With the finale just around the corner, the show is currently left with contestants Shilpa Shinde, Ram Kapoor, Yogesh Rawat, Shreya Kalra and Shivangi Joshi.

Talking about the second edition of Lock Upp, it is hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.

The first edition was hosted by Kangana in 2022. Karan Kundrra was introduced as Jailor for the entire season. Munawar Faruqui was named as the winner.

Mumbai, Aug 5 (SocialNews.XYZ) As veteran actor Pradeep Rawat, known for his performances in films such as 'Lagaan' and 'Ghajini', passed away aged 74 after battling cancer, his onscreen son Thakur Anoop Singh penned a note for the late star and said that off the camera he has only been an inspiration to fight with life’s battles.

Thakur Anoop Singh shared a photograph with Pradeep Rawat from the sets of their shows. The two worked in Achari America Yatra and Dharmarakshak Mahaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

“Pradeep Rawat sir, I’ve had the greatest privilege of working with this fine artist. From watching you play Ashwatthama as a child in 1990, to growing up watching you as Ghajini to playing your son in Achari America Yatra or your enemy in Dharmarakshak Chh. Sambhaji Maharaj, off the camera you have only been a guiding light and an inspiration to fight with life’s battles.”

“Those who know you know what a journey you have had & i shall always cherish our memories and learning’s from you! You lived like a lion, now rest in peace. Thank you for entertaining the world. Om shanti,” he captioned the picture.

His wife and son Vikramaditya survive Pradeep Rawat. The news of the actor's passing was shared by his longtime colleague, actor Yashpal Sharma.

Yashpal, who was also a part of 'Lagaan', paid a heartfelt tribute to Pradeep Rawat through an emotional social media post that read, “Pradeep Rawat Our Gajini Deva of Lagaan RIP (sic)”.

Talking about his career, during his tenure spanning more than 3 decades, Pradeep Rawat had worked in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

He made his acting debut with the Bollywood movie 'Meri Jung' back in 1985, where he was seen essaying the role of a police inspector.

Some of his other noteworthy projects also include 'The Hero: Love Story of a Spy', 'Stalin', 'Veeram', '1: Nenokkadine', 'Loukyam', 'Nenu Sailaja', 'Sarrainodu', 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri', 'Aayirathil Iruvar', 'Market Raja MBBS' and 'Miss Match'.

He was last seen in the Hindi film Chhaava,an epic historical action film based on the life of Sambhaji, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire, who is played by Vicky Kaushal.

An adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant The cast also includes Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.

Akanksha said that several of Shreya's statements were fabricated to shape a particular narrative.

“There are a lot of things that haven't come out on camera. It's good that people have finally caught these things. It's good that people have finally caught these things. In the beginning, she kept lying that she does fake PR and negative PR. Now everyone knows who did it. Her proofs are also out,” Akanksha told the media after coming out of the show.

She added: “And there is no proof for the allegations she had for months. Because she hasn't done it till date. She has made a lot of narratives on the basis of lies. I'll give you some examples that I remember. For example, I told Shilpa that she has lied about her parents. Her parents are like that. This has never happened. There was no such conversation. So, I think she was making a narrative.”

Akanksha shared: “I also told Madhuri that she lies about things to make a narrative. And because of that, I'll have to explain the same for months. I know what happens next. I know what the media will ask next. I know what the comments will be. Your life can also change on the basis of a narrative. Madhuri had explained that to her. But she didn't understand it. And she lied about it.”

Deepika shared a video on Instagram, where she is seen dancing without any rehearsal and inspired only by a reel she had watched a few days earlier. She credited her Odissi training and the powerful energy of the sacred cave for compelling her to offer the dance as an act of devotion to Lord Shiva.

She wrote as the caption: “Om Namah Shivaya! Have a blessed and devotional first Sawan Somwar. Yesterday morning, after sitting for a few long breaths in Bhartari Gufa — where Raja Bhartari meditated for 12 years — a thought came to me.”

“‘Dance on Chandrachuda. Just 1 minute. I didn’t rehearse. I had only seen a reel a few days back. But my ODISSI, my intention, and that inexplicable energy in the cave pushed me.”

She added: “Before I began, I bowed to my Guru, my teacher, and touched my forehead to Mother Earth. For me, this wasn’t a performance. It was meditation in motion.

A gratitude offering to Lord Nataraja, to Lord Shiva.”

“While dancing, time stood still. I was in awe of this universe, the beauty, the life force in everything. I felt aligned. Har Har Mahadev.”

Bhartari Gufa are ancient rock-cut caves located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. They are famous as the meditation site of the legendary king-turned-sage Bhartrihari, who wrote Sanskrit literary works like Niti Shataka here.

The 36-year-old actress made her television debut with Diya Aur Baati Hum, where she played IPS Sandhya Kothari Rathi opposite Anas Rashid. It proved to be a breakthrough in her career. Following a break, Deepika then made a comeback to the small screen in 2019.

She was seen in a double role of Sandhya Patwardhan Jindal and Sakshi Patwardhan Salgaonkar opposite Namik Paul and Vin Rana, in Kavach... Mahashivrati. She also played an advocate in the web series Halala. In 2022, the actress made her film debut with Titu Ambani opposite Tushar Pandey.

Jay shares his daughter Tara with former wife Mahhi Vij. The two got married in 2011. In 2017 they fostered a boy, Rajveer, and a girl, Khushi. The couple's first biological child, Tara, was born in 2019. Jay and Mahhi divorced in 2026.

It was in January when the couple had announced their separation. The two had shared a note on their respective Instagram Stories, announcing their decision to part ways after almost 15 years of being married.

The post read, "Today, we choose to part ways on a journey called life, yet we continue to have each other's back. Peace, growth, kindness and humanity have always been our guiding values. (sic)."

They promised to be good parents to their 3 children while living their individual lives.

"For the sake of our children -Tara, Khushi, Ranjveer, we commit to being the best parents, the best friends, and whatever else it takes to do what is right for them," they added.

Gauahar shared a reel from a fan club which featured a snippet from the upcoming episode. The video featured Aly Goni, Arsalan and Daisy sitting together and discussing something about Zaid. Arsalan is then seen abusing him and saying that he has gone mad.

Sharing the clip on her stories section, Gauahar wrote a wrath-filled message: “Shameful words for someone that too behind his back. Guts hai toh samne gaali do (if you have guts abuse him infront of Zaid! Jab ace banne ke liye vote diya tha tab toh gaali nahi di thi Arsalan. Apni soch dikhate hai.”

Gauahar married Zaid in 2020. The couple has two sons Zehaan, born in 2023, and a second son named Farwaan, born in 2025.

Zaid, Aly, Arsalan and Daisy are seen as contestants in “Alliance,” which started streaming from June 26. It is hosted by Kunal Kemmu. Alliance is the first international adaptation of Talpa Studios' globally acclaimed Dutch format, created by John de Mol. The Hindi-language show is produced by Banijay Asia.

The reality format sees 16 contestants enter as allies, but shifting loyalties, deception, and strategic gameplay will test every alliance in the race for the ultimate prize.

Gauahar started her career as a model. She was the winner of Bigg Boss season 7 in 2013. She made her acting debut with Yash Raj Films's Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year in 2009.
