Mumbai, Aug 29 (SocialNews.XYZ) Musician Vishal Mishra has pledged to organise concerts in Assam and Nepal, with every penny raised going towards flood relief and supporting the affected people. He went on to share that an official announcement will follow soon.

Vishal, who has crooned numbers such as “Kaise Hua,” “Pehle Bhi Main,” “Aaj Bhi,” “Jaanam,” “Manjha,” “Ramta Jogi,” and “Sau Gram Zindagi”, took to Instagram, where he made the announcement.

“My heart is heavy seeing what's happening So I have made a decision. I WILL PERFORM A CONCERT IN #NEPAL AND A CONCERT IN #ASSAM. EVERY SINGLE PENNY. WILL GO TOWARDS FLOOD RELIEF AND THE PEOPLE AFFECTED. I GIVE YOU MY WORD. Announcement soon (sic),” Vishal wrote in the note.

He captioned the post: "Stay strong , will do whatever I can individually, Har Har Mahadev (sic)."

Assam was hit with devastating floods beginning on 19 July 2026. The first spell of intense rainfall occurred around 28 June. The Second hit was severe due to monsoonal downpours and upstream cloudbursts on 19 July. The crisis reached its peak later in July, submerging villages.

It was on August 26 that Nepal suffered catastrophic flash floods. Nepal's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority said that the bodies of 579 people swept away by the floods had so far been recovered. In comparison, 1,924 people remained out of contact as of Friday evening.

Vishal first appeared in a reality show aired on DD National. He auditioned for the competition Indian Idol but was disqualified. The 35-year-old made his debut as a composer in 2016 with the Tamil film Devi.

In 2017, he composed the song "Jaane De", sung by Atif Aslam, featured on the soundtrack of Qarib Qarib Singlle. He also composed songs for Munna Michael, which marked his singing debut, and the Marathi film FU: Friendship Unlimited.

He composed the "Rafta Rafta" melody for Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, marking his first project of 2018. His music video features Salman Khan in a special appearance.

Vishal also composed the romantic song "Selfish", written by and starring Salman, for the action film Race 3, and the title track of Veere Di Wedding, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania.

Sandlas said that she waited for this feeling for years.

Mumbai, Aug 27 (SocialNews.XYZ) After Haryanvi artist Ankit Baliyan was shot dead by unidentified assailants outside a gym in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh on August 26, his father Satbir Singh has demanded justice for his son, saying he wants the man responsible for his death to be brought before him.

While speaking to the media, Satbir Singh said: “I want the man who killed him. I don't want anything else. The protest will continue.”

He revealed that his son had nothing to do with anyone.

The attackers on August 26 opened fire on Baliyan as he stepped out of the gym in Shamli. He was critically injured, and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

As per media reports, the 4 unidentified assailants fired 20 rounds for about two minutes. In the firing, five bullets hit Ankit's car and around 8 bullets hit Ankit. Enraged over the incident, the villagers blocked the road near Verma Market in the city.

Police launched an investigation, including examination of CCTV footage, while his family sought the arrest of the accused.

The singer was a popular face in the Haryanvi entertainment industry, and his digital presence centred heavily on hyper-local Haryanvi pop music videos, swagger-driven portrayals, and podcasts. He became particularly known for songs associated with the contemporary Haryanvi music scene, including Ek Khtola Jail Ke Bhitar, Savidhan, 112 NE and Haridwar Haryane Ka. His music and videos helped him develop a sizable online following, with his YouTube channel reportedly accumulating hundreds of millions of views.

I don't believe in the definition of commercial as such—that a particular type of music is commercial.”

“Nowadays, you must have seen that even underground music has become mainstream music,” added the rapper, whose real name is Abhishek Baisla.

“There are many such examples in front of us. Even our own songs have many such examples. So, it is nothing like this that it is for a particular audience. Those who like to listen to songs also watch this show. And you get to listen to other songs as well,” he said.

The music video brings this idea to life through an office setting, where two colleagues slowly discover a connection without either of them setting out to find it.

Moses is known for his distinctive guitar playing style, and experimentation in musical mediums in the Indian Independent and underground Music scene.

His musical repertoire consists of working across genres like Pop, Rap, Rock and R&B, with artists such as Arijit Singh, Divine, Metal/Rock outfit Kraken amongst many others. He also has multiple songwriting and production credits to his name.

Talking about his maiden Netflix series, “Class” is a crime drama thriller television series adapted by Ashim Ahluwalia and based on the Spanish series Elite. It is set in Hampton International, a fictional elite high school in Delhi, and revolves around the relationships among three working-class students enrolled at the school and their wealthy classmates.

The series explores a wide range of social issues affecting modern youth, including casteism, child neglect, corruption, homophobia, religious discrimination, and income inequality in India.

Mumbai, Aug 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Singer Kunal Ganjawalla recently recreated the iconic song ‘Aap Ki Ankhon Mein Kuch’ picturised on Vinod Mehra and Rekha from the 1978 film ‘Ghar’ and wished he had got an opportunity to work with the late legendary musicians Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar.

Kunal took to Instagram, where he shared a video of himself singing the number in a studio and said that he would have loved to be “a fly on the wall” to witness the magic they created.

“This magical duo is one of my most favourite duos in this entire world .. am sure you’ll are crazy abt this partnership too. How i wish i had gotten an opportunity to work with these greats in this lifetime would have loved to be a fly on the wall too just to watch the magic they have created. ALAS,” he wrote as the caption.

Talking about the film, “Ghar” was directed by Manik Chatterjee. It also stars Vinod Mehra, Rekha in lead roles. The music was composed by R. D. Burman.

The film followed the story of Vikas and Arti, their lives are jeopardised after they get attacked and Arti is gang-raped. Thereafter, the couple faces trauma, social taboo and their own awkwardness for each other.

Talking about Ganjawalla, his first singing assignment was a jingle composed by Ranjit Barot titled Doodh Doodh for the Operation Flood advertisement. Ganjawala's first break in Bollywood was Ab Ke Baras in 2002.

Although the song did not mark him as a prominent singer, it earned him many offers. He then lent his vocal prowess for films such as Saathiya, Indian Babu, Paisa Vasool, Khakee, Rudraksh, Dhoom and Meenaxi. His breakthrough hit was "Bheege Hont Tere", from the film Murder.

Ganjawalla entered the Kannada film industry in 2005. His very first song in Kannada, Neene Neene composed by music director R P Patnaik and written by K. Kalyan for the movie Akash, was a hit of the year.

His song "Onde Ondu Sari" written by Kaviraj and composed by music director Mano Murthy became the biggest hit of the year. It created records, including for highest sales and downloads. He has sung nearly 450 Kannada Songs thus far.

Since then Ganjawala has worked for many music directors like Anu Malik, Anand–Milind, Nadeem-Shravan, Pritam, Himesh Reshammiya, Ismail Darbar, Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy, Anand Raj Anand, Rajesh Roshan, Viju Shah, Aadesh Shrivastava, Roop Kumar Rathod, Daboo Malik, and Sanjeev-Darshan.

In a collaborative post, Elton John and Dua Lipa shared a string of images posing together as they marked the moment.

“Five years since Cold Heart brought us together, 5.3 billion streams later, and five years of a wonderful friendship. Thank you to all of you for continuing to love and support the track,” the caption read.

"Cold Heart (Pnau remix)" was released in August 2021 as the lead single from the album for digital download and streaming in various countries by EMI and Mercury.

Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, the collaboration between the artists was a testament to their friendship, which was established in November 2020.

The song is a medley of four songs written by John and Bernie Taupin, as well as Andrew Meecham, Dean Meredith, Nicholas Littlemore, Peter Mayes and Sam Littlemore, with the production completed by the latter three as part of the dance music group Pnau.

Anupam shared a string of pictures with the music composer on X, formerly called Twitter and wrote: “There are Oscar-winning music composers… and then there is M.M. Keeravani Sir! Of course, the world knows his genius. I had the privilege of experiencing it very closely when he gave such beautiful, soulful music to my film #TanviTheGreat. But what fascinates me equally is the man behind the music.”

Anupam said that he understands human nature almost as beautifully as he “understands sur and taal.”

“I can sit with him for hours talking about life, cinema, music, people, relationships… and everything in between. Every conversation leaves me with something to think about. But there is one area where I am definitely the boss — posing for photographs!” he wrote.

The actor added: “So in Hyderabad, I decided that two serious, accomplished gentlemen (he more, me- kind of) should temporarily forget their wisdom, experience, awards etc. and become COOL DUDES!”

Talking about Anupam, he’s currently shooting for the second installment of Khosla Ka Ghosla. The film first released in 2006 with the comedy drama film directed by Dibakar Banerjee, in his directorial debut. Along with Anupam and Boman actors Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey and Tara Sharma in the lead roles.

The story follows Kamal Kishore Khosla (Kher), a middle-class Delhiite and his family's attempt to reclaim their land which has been seized by a builder, Khurana.

Raghav took to X, formerly called Twitter, where he shared a glimpse of the song and said that he would share the story of his first meeting with the late legendary singer Asha Bhosle in his “book”.

Raghav wrote: “I would be remiss if we didn’t celebrate 22 years of ‘Let’s Work It Out’... created with my partner in crime Mushtaq and blessed by the voice of Asha Bhosle. Let’s work it out was my fourth song to chart in the UK national chart in less than a calendar year in 2004.”

He added: “Btw I have quite the story about when I first met Asha Ji. I’ll save it for the book… Thank you all for 22 years of love and support on this song.. though I must admit I did have a breakdown when I found out it was being released as the second single off of Storyteller over Bad Bad Bad.”

Deepika shared a video on Instagram, where she is seen dancing without any rehearsal and inspired only by a reel she had watched a few days earlier. She credited her Odissi training and the powerful energy of the sacred cave for compelling her to offer the dance as an act of devotion to Lord Shiva.

She wrote as the caption: “Om Namah Shivaya! Have a blessed and devotional first Sawan Somwar. Yesterday morning, after sitting for a few long breaths in Bhartari Gufa — where Raja Bhartari meditated for 12 years — a thought came to me.”

“‘Dance on Chandrachuda. Just 1 minute. I didn’t rehearse. I had only seen a reel a few days back. But my ODISSI, my intention, and that inexplicable energy in the cave pushed me.”

A gratitude offering to Lord Nataraja, to Lord Shiva.”

“While dancing, time stood still. I was in awe of this universe, the beauty, the life force in everything. I felt aligned. Har Har Mahadev.”

Bhartari Gufa are ancient rock-cut caves located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. They are famous as the meditation site of the legendary king-turned-sage Bhartrihari, who wrote Sanskrit literary works like Niti Shataka here.

The 36-year-old actress made her television debut with Diya Aur Baati Hum, where she played IPS Sandhya Kothari Rathi opposite Anas Rashid. It proved to be a breakthrough in her career. Following a break, Deepika then made a comeback to the small screen in 2019.

According to Steinman, the song was inspired by Wuthering Heights and was intended as "the most passionate, romantic song" he could create. Meat Loaf, who had collaborated with Steinman on many of his hit songs, had wanted to record the track for years, but Steinman refused, saying he viewed it as a "woman's song".

Steinman won a court case that prevented Meat Loaf from recording it, Girl group Pandora's Box recorded the first released version, and the song later became widely known through a cover by Celine Dion.

Celine Dion had recorded the number for her album Falling into You, and her version became a commercial hit, reaching number one on the Canadian Singles Chart, It won two on the US Billboard Hot 100, and number three on the UK Singles Chart in late 1996.

Celine Dion, who is tagged as the "Queen of Power Ballads", is known for her powerful, technically skilled vocals and commercially successful works, which have had a significant impact on popular music.

Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji released in 2011. The romantic comedy film co-written and directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Omi Vaidya in the lead roles with Shazahn Padamsee, Shruti Haasan, Rituparna Sengupta, Tisca Chopra, and Shraddha Das in supporting roles.

Los Angeles, July 31 (SocialNews.XYZ) Rapper Kanye West and reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s eldest daughter North West’s maiden headlining tour since releasing her debut EP titled “N0rth4evr” has been canceled.

The 13-year-old was set to be on tour alongside rapper Molly Santana for the Kimokawaii Tour, which would have kicked off on August 5 in Dallas.

Now, the tour dates for both Dallas and the August 17 show in Toronto are marked as “canceled” and the tour’s official website appears to have been taken down, reports people.com.

An August 25 show at San Francisco venue The Midway remains listed on the venue’s website.

North released her debut EP in May, and the milestone was celebrated by the whole family.

Several members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, including her uncle Rob Kardashian, aunt Khloé Kardashian and grandmother Kris Jenner, posted pictures on their Instagram Stories.

In the lead single from the EP, “Piercing On My Hand,” released in February, North addressed the public conversation surrounding her dermal piercing.

North was born in 2013. She appeared in the music video for her father's 2014 single "Only One", and made several appearances on Keeping Up with the Kardashians along with her mother.
