Presented by Boyapati Raghu, Eakam is jointly backed by Ananda Thoughts Film Production Company, Sanskriti Productions and Dreams Entertainments. Directed by Varun Vamsi, the film was released this Friday. The director tried to show his mark even from the beginning by formulating that Eakam is a collection of five characters. Let's try to know how Eakam movie is in our review.

Story:
The story revolves around the characters of Anand, Appayya Panthulu, Divya, Nitya, David, and Nirvana. Anand, who lost his family at a young age as well as his girlfriend, wanders off in search of something in this world without doing a job. Appayya Panthulu, who worships Lord Shiva, gets angry with God, blaming him for his collapse. While Divya, who lost her father, wants to settle in life with a coffee shop, David is a villain and works in the same coffee shop. Nithya wants to change Anand anyway and plans to marry him. How all these stories meet at a common point and what happens in their lives is splendidly shown in the film.

Analysis:
Director Varun Vamsi was very careful to introduce the characters in the first half and connect the audience to the story quick without being boring. Aberaam Varma and Swetha Varma carried the second half on their shoulders. Aberaam pulled off different looks with ease and perfectly potrayed the god man's role to the T. Although the character of Kalpika is very short, it plays a role that has a connection to the story, while Dayanand Reddy gave his best for the role. A song on Lord Shiva in the second half is the major highlight of the film. Jose Franklin's background score is a big advantage to Eakam. We can see a lot of depth in every dialogue that Varun Vamsi wrote. The film ends with a note that it is dedicated to those who explore life. It is a testament to Vamsi's directing talent.

Nag Ashwin's tweet is now going viral as Prabhas's fans are elated that an exciting update on their favorite hero's upcoming project will be out very soon.

Nag Ashwin says the shoot of Prabhas21 is getting delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic and it will be a long time before the project hits the floors.

Prabhas21 will start rolling next year and Nag Ashwin is planning to complete the shooting part by the end of the year and release the film during 2022 summer.

తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో తెలుగు సినిమా, టీవీ సీరియల్స్ నిర్మాణం మరింత ముమ్మరంగా జరగాలని శ్రీ కేసీఆర్ నేతృత్వంలోని ప్రభుత్వం చిత్తశుద్ధితో కృషి చేస్తోంది. అందుకోసం అందరినీ కలుపుకుని వెళుతూ, సినిమా రంగానికి సంబంధించిన సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి ప్రయత్నాలు మొదలెట్టింది. ఇందులో భాగం మంగళవారం ప్రభుత్వం రెండు జీవోలను విడుదల చేసింది. అందులో మొదటిది సింగిల్ విండో పథకం అమలుకు తీసుకోవాల్సిన విధివిధానాల రూపకల్పనకు సంబంధించింది. రాష్ట్ర పురపాలక శాఖ ప్రత్యేక కార్యదర్శి ఛైర్మన్ గా హోమ్ డిపార్ట్ మెంట్ ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రటరీ, ఫారెస్ట్ డిపార్ట్ మెంట్ సెక్రటరీ, టూరిజం అండ్ కల్చర్ డిపార్ట్ మెంట్ సెక్రటరీ, ఐ అండ్ పీ.ఆర్. సెక్రటరీలు సభ్యులుగా ఓ కమిటీని వేసింది. నెలరోజులలోగా ఈ కమిటీ నివేదికను సమర్పించాలని ప్రభుత్వం కోరింది. ఎంతో కాలంగా పెండింగ్ లో ఉన్న సింగిల్ విండో పథకానికి ఈ కమిటీ ఏర్పాటుతో మార్గం సుగమం అయినట్టే.

ఇదిలా ఉంటే.. రెండు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలు అవతరించిన నేపథ్యంలో గత కొంత కాలంగా నంది అవార్డుల కార్యక్రమం జరగడం లేదు. ఆ అవార్డుల స్థానంలో తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం కొంగొత్తగా, మరింత జనరంజకంగా సినీ అవార్డులను ఇవ్వాలని ఆలోచిస్తోంది. అందుకోసం మంగళవారం మరో జీవోను జారీ చేసింది. తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఏ పేరుతో సినిమా అవార్డులు ఇవ్వాలి, దానికి సంబంధించిన నియమ నిబంధనలు ఎలా ఉండాలి అనేది ఈ కమిటీ నిర్ణయించి ప్రభుత్వానికి నివేదిక ఇవ్వాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు, రిటైర్డ్ ఐఎఎస్ అధికారి రమణాచారి ఈ కమిటీకి ఛైర్మన్ గా వ్యవహరిస్తారు. తెలంగాణ ఫిల్మ్ ఛాంబర్ ఆఫ్ కామర్స్ అధ్యక్ష కార్యదర్శులు పి. రామ్మోహన్, కె. మురళీ మోహన్ రావుతో పాటు దర్శక నిర్మాత తమ్మారెడ్డి భరద్వాజ, ప్రముఖ నిర్మాతలు దిల్ రాజు, ఎం. శ్యాంప్రసాద్ రెడ్డి, దర్శకుడు ఎన్. శంకర్, 'సంతోషం' సురేశ్ కొండేటి ఈ కమిటీలో సభ్యులుగా నియమితులయ్యారు. శ్రీ నవీన్ మిట్టల్ ఈ కమిటీకి కన్వీనర్ గా వ్యవహరిస్తారు.

New Delhi, Feb 15 (IANS) The twiteratti was abuzz on Monday after certain lawyers and BJP leaders assaulted journalists and JNU students in the Patiala House court complex here.

Some women journalists were also molested and roughed up in a big scuffle in the court complex, reports said.

"India Today's Anusha Soni, Poonam Sharma, Sneha Agarwal (Mail Today) molested in Patiala House," human right activist Samar Anarya tweeted from his verified account @Samar_Anarya.

"Two of our reporters Alok Singh and Kaunain Sheriff beaten up by lawyers inside Patiala House court," Indian Express senior journalist Muzamil Jaleel said in a tweet.

Criticising the BJP for using violence as a "diversionary tactic" to take attention off the central government's alleged failures, the Aam Aadmi Party condemned the attack on students and journalists.

"The BJP attacked students and journalists to divert attn from the land scam in Gujarat, the falling SENSEX and the INR," Delhi Water Minister Kapil Sharma tweeted.

"I condemn the attack on TV reporters/JNU faculty by few lawyers in Patiala house court. They sud be identified/their license sud be seized," journalist-turned-AAP spokesperson Ashutosh said on the microblogging site.

However, there was no dearth of people who took to social media expressing anguish at the JNU fraternity over the recent incidents.

"Dear JNU Students, We Fund Your Studies, Not Your Politics Folks pl read, pl RT," Infosys founder-turned-philanthropist Mohandas Pai said on Twitter.

"JNU is an eminent institution & time to #CleanUpJNU & also Crush the Naxals & terrorists," Malayalam anchor Rahul Easwar wrote on twitter.

Some entrepreneurs also asserted to leave it up to the university to find and punish the guilty in the February 9 event.

"JNU issue has trapped Govt into taking extreme measures. This shd be left to JNU to find n punish the guilty," Kiran Mazumdar Shaw said.

People from the media also took to the microblogging site to express solidarity with their colleagues who were assaulted.

"The Editors' Guild of India, Press Club & News Broadcasters' Association should condemn the attack on journalists at Patiala House. Now!," Pankaj Pachauri, media advisor to former prime minister Manmohan Singh, said.

"The Delhi Union of Journalists condemns attack on journalists at Patiala House. The Delhi police have remained silent spectators," journalist Manisha Pandey said.

By 7 p.m., #SaffronEmergency and Patiala House were among the top 10 national trends on Twitter.

Alia, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, made her Bollywood debut with "Student Of The Year". She has since featured in films as different as "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania", "2 States" and "Highway".

She has begun work on her new film, directed by Gauri Shinde and co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.

]]> Kolkata, Nov 14 (IANS) Actress Vidya Balan, who was longing for a selfie with veteran actresses Sharmila Tagore, Jaya Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee, finally got her wish fulfilled on Saturday, thanks to none other than megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Balan and the senior actresses graced the inaugural of the 21st Kolkata International Film Festival here.

During her speech at the opening ceremony, the "Kahaani" actress referred to the veterans as "Bengal tigresses" and voiced her desire to click a selfie with them.

Later, she posted two selfies with Big B in the frame, flanked by the leading ladies of yesteryears. Balan thanked the cinema icon for the selfie.

"@SrBachchan The only actor to edit himself out of a frame. Thank You Mr.B for the selfie with the Bengal tigresses!," Balan tweeted.

Hrithik's Special Gesture for Tiger ShroffHrithik asked the son of veteran actor Jackie Shroff to test his limits by pushing the envelope.

Hrithik took to Twitter to wish the "Heropanti" actor, who is vocal about being his die-hard fan before he went to shoot for HRX brand.

“Good luck @iTIGERSHROFF! #unstoppable #pushurextreme have a great shoot. I'm up next,” Hrithik tweeted.

Tiger has earlier mentioned that Hrithik, who is blessed with Greek god looks and chiseled physique, is why he took up dancing.

"Hrithik is my role model. I wanted to be a good dancer like Hrithik in my childhood. I used to watch all his films, and 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' blew me away,” Tiger had said.

On the film front, Hrithik is busy shooting for “Mohenjo Daro”, while Tiger is caught up with work for "Baaghi", in which he's paired with Shraddha Kapoor.
