Cast: Allari Naresh, Amritha Aiyer

Music: Vishal Chandrashekar

U.S. Release: Prathyangira Cinemas

Story:
Bachhala Malli is a rustic drama that follows the journey of Malli (Allari Naresh), a young man grappling with the struggles of life in a rural setting. Set in a Godavari village in 2005, the film revolves around two key themes: the strained relationship between a father and son and Malli’s transformation, influenced by his love for a girl. While the story has an honest core and attempts to explore emotional themes, it suffers from a predictable and repetitive screenplay that fails to deeply connect with the audience. Despite moments with potential, they aren’t explored thoroughly, leaving the narrative emotionally flat.

Acting:
Allari Naresh delivers a standout performance, bringing authenticity and depth to the character of Malli. His portrayal of the protagonist’s emotional struggles is the highlight of the film. Amritha Aiyer does a fine job in her role, though her character is underwritten and lacks the emotional weight to make a significant impact. The supporting cast performs competently but doesn’t contribute enough to elevate the film.

Technical Aspects:
On the technical front, Bachhala Malli delivers some impressive work. Richard M Nathan’s cinematography beautifully captures the earthy, rustic charm of the Godavari setting. Vishal Chandrashekar’s music complements the film’s tone, with the background score adding intensity to crucial moments. However, the songs fail to stand out. Chota K Prasad’s editing keeps the pacing steady, while Brahma Kadali’s production design authentically recreates the rural backdrop of 2005.

Plus Points:

Allari Naresh’s heartfelt performance.

A few impactful dialogues and scenes.

Authentic rustic visuals and production design.

Minus Points:

Predictable and repetitive screenplay.

Lack of fresh ideas and emotional depth.

Routine traits and ineffective drama.

Limited engagement with key emotional moments.

Verdict:
Bachhala Malli is a well-meaning attempt that tries to present an emotional tale set in a rural backdrop. While it benefits from Allari Naresh’s sincere performance and a few compelling moments, the lack of originality and emotional engagement in the screenplay makes it a forgettable experience. It resonates with good intentions but fails to leave a lasting mark.

Story: Five strangers come together to avenge the brutal killings of their loved ones. The only problem is they don't know who killed them. They hire a revenge writer to lead their gang called revengers. How did these revengers find the culprit and how they got their revenge forms crux of the story.

Acting: Nani as Pencil Parthasarathy a struggling revenge copywriter excelled in the role. The role is tailor-made for him. His comic timing and sarcastic jabs are perfect for the role. He played the role with ease. Priyanka Arul Mohan as Priya is easy on the eyes and did her role well. She acted with her eyes in most of the movie. Senior actress Lakshmi as Saraswathi got a meaty role and she killed it. He comedy timing and acting in emotional scenes are impeccable. Saranya Ponvannan as Varalakshmi, Shriya Reddy as Swathi, Praanya P Rao as Chinnu are part of the revengers, played their roles well. Baby Praanya P Rao as a mute for most of the movie did an excellent job. Kartikeya Gummakonda as Dev played the role as the main antagonist. He did complete justice to the role. He looked ruthless and stylish at the same time. Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi Pulikonda are adequate.

Technical: Director Vikram Kumar did not take any risk. He took an interesting story and narrated it in a simple and straight forward way without too many twists or turns. Story by Vikram Kumar is interesting. The idea of strangers coming together to take revenge on an unknown is cinematic but good. The dialogues are witty and funny. Anirudh's music is excellent and his background score elevates the movie. All the songs in the movie are used to move the story forward and Anirudh's music helped it a lot. The cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek is good. Editing by Naveen Nooli is perfect. Production by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Sankar, Mohan Cherukuri of Mythri Movie Makers is rich.

Analysis: Vikram Kumar to a simple revenge story and added humor and human emotions. He did not take any risk of hiding the villain from the audience. He used an interesting technique of revealing him to the gang. The episodes of gang trying to find him came out well and the cat and mouse game once they find him is excellent. An interesting twist at the tail end of the movie is good. The back story of the loved ones of revengers how they all came together is nice.

Highlights:
Nani and Gang
Story
Comedy
Climax

Drawbacks:
Simple Narration

Box office: The movie should work well at both domestic and overseas box office with mostly family audiences lapping it up.

Verdict: Watch it.

Bottom Line: Revengers Avenge.

Director: Vamsi Paidipally

Rating: 4.0

Reviewed By: SOCIALNEWS.XYZ

Story: Maharshi is the journey of a middle-class guy Rishi who becomes the most successful man in the world and gives it all up for his friend. So why did he gave up all for his friend and how did he solve his friend's problem forms crux of the story.

Acting: Mahesh Babu will be seen in 2 different shades in this movie. Mahesh Babu as college student Rishi is fun and vintage and brings back memories of his Dookudu and Pokiri. His comedy timing is impeccable. Mahesh Babu as CEO Rishi Kumar has a lot of emotions which he carried it well. Allari Naresh as Ravi and friend of Rishi gets a good role. He did a commendable and one will see a different Allari Naresh in this movie. Pooja Hedge did well in the limited screen presence she got. She good scenes in the first half but has a limited role in the second half. Prakash Raj and Jayasudha are adequate parents of Rishi. Jagapathi Babu once again gets a good role as the main antagonist which he carried with ease. Posani Krishna Murali, Prudhvi Raj, and Vennela Kishore are used for comic relief and did well. Sai Kumar and Tanikella Bharani gets key roles but have very short screen presence. Rajiv Kanakala got a good role and he used it well. Bramaji has a blink and miss role. Kaikala Satyanarayana and Kota Srinivas Rao appear in guest roles. Its fun to see them on the screen after a long time.

Technical: Director Vamsi Paidipally did a flawless job in the first half of the movie. He executed the college episodes and the emotional scenes between father and son very well. In the second half, the story writer in him killed the momentum of the movie. He tied to incorporate too many problems of today's Indian villages. This at times makes it a tedious watch for commercial move lovers. If the second half was handled well it would have succeeded commercially too. Story by Vamsi Paidipally, Hari, Ahishor Solomon is very good. The journey of Rishi is flawless. The dialogues in the movie should get a special mention. They are a lot of dialogues that will haunt you even after you leave the theaters. Devi Sri Prasad music is OK in the songs but gave a good Background score. The cinematography by K. U. Mohanan is flawless. He brought a very rich look to the film. The flights by Ram-Laxman should also get a special mention. All the fights in the movie came out really well. Production by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt, Prasad V. Potluri is rich. Every penny spent on the movie can be seen on the screen.

Analysis: Vamsi Paidipally and his team must be appreciated for sticking to a genuine story. It touches all the problems that the farmers are facing in today's society. Mahesh Babu should be commended for accepting a story like this. This movie may not get him any records but should make him proud for doing a story like this. The first half of the movie is fun and one can watch vintage Mahesh Babu. The second half is where most of the story happens but one may feel it little tedious and at times preachy. The movie touches on various topics like villages are being evacuated for corporate greed, farmer suicides and how a farmer is no longer respected in society. The movie tries to show some solutions to the problems of farming communities. The movie teaches us that "Farmers don't need our Sympathy. They need our respect."

If movies like these are not appreciated no star will ever dare to do movies with good concepts. We will be stuck with routine formula movies.

Highlights:
Mahesh Babu
Story
College Episodes
Philosophy
Comedy
Dialogues

Drawbacks:
Slow Narration
Screenplay in the second half
Preachy at times

Box office: The movie will have an uphill task at the box office. Only Mahesh Babu's star power should make it an average grosser.

Verdict: Watch if you want to learn where your next meal comes from.

Bottom Line: Farmers don't need our Sympathy. They need our respect. (Farmer is the King).

Note: The rating is based on the content of the movie but not the commerciality of the movie. Some movies may not run well but they will haunt you.

Reviewed By: SOCIALNEWS.XYZ

Story: Veera Raghava Reddy's ( NTR Jr.) father Narapa Reddy ( Naga Babu) is killed by Basi Reddy (Jagapathi Babu) due to Seema Faction. Veera tries to avenge his father's death but pulled back by his Grandmother (Supriya Pathak). After realizing the destruction the faction wars cause Raghava sets out to find a solution to the problem. In this process, he meets Aravindha (Pooja Hegde). How did Aravindha guide Veera Raghava to his destiny forms the rest of movie?

Acting: NTR Jr as Veera Raghava Reddy did a commendable job but was mishandled by Trivikram. He excelled in dances and fights and was in his Element in emotional scenes. Pooja Hegde as Aravindha tried to be cute but couldn't pull it off. Her role brings back memories of Samantha from A Aa Movie. Jagapathi Babu as Basi Reddy and the main antagonist is raw and believable. He pulled off the role with an ease. Sunil as Neelambari has nothing special to write about. Naveen Chandra as Bal Reddy (Basi Reddy's Son) is good. Rao Ramesh and Subhalekha Sudhakar as Politicians were adequate. It nice to see Subhalekha Sudhakar on screen after a long gap. Senior Naresh as a Criminal lawyer is repetitive. It feels like his character is an extension of his role form A Aa movie. Bhramaji as Basi Reddy's henchman has short but a key role. He played it well. Supriya Pathak as Veera Raghava's grandmother did a good job. Naga Babu as Narapa Reddy is ok. Devayani and Sitara were wasted. Eshwari Rao gets a key role a the tail end of the movie which she handled well.

Technical: Director Trivikram Srinivas succeeded in getting some scenes right but the writer Trivikram failed him. To cover up the wafer-thin storyline, which is revealed in the first 15 minutes of the movie, he added to many explanations shots that are preachy. Even the song placements in the second half felt out of place. The most talked about song Peniviti was forced. The dialogues are good. Music By S.S.Thaman is good within the limitations he has. He gave a commendable background score. His held a lot of scenes with his music. P. S. Vinod Cinematography is very good. Editor Naveen Nooli could have done a better job. The production by Haarika & Hassine Creations is good.

Analysis: Trivikram Srinivas took a time-tested reforming Seema from Faction story and tried to give his own spin on it. But looks the writer in him got carried away and injected to many lengthy and boring scenes. At times it feels like we are watching a philosophical movie than a commercial movie. Even the ending is not justified. The Hero tries to get rid of a faction but leaves the door open at the end. He also lost the plot in the end. He tried to solve the Seema Faction problem but magnified it though Jagapathi Babu's role at the tail end of the movie. That kind of threw very bad light on whole Seema.

Highlights:
Introduction Fight
Music

Drawbacks:
Screenplay

Box office: The movie may work in the domestic market but will have a tough time Overseas.

Verdict: Avoid It unless you are a fan of NTR and Preachy movies

Bottom Line: Nobody can change Seema Faction

Story: Roshan (Akash Puri) is an Indian Engineering Student whose dream is to join Indian Army one day. He keeps having the same dream since his childhood. In his dream, he works in an army and was killed because he was in love. Neha Shetty is a Pakistani exchange student. She too has similar kind of dreams about her death. What is their relationship and how did Indo-Pak war (1971) played a role in their life should be watched.

Acting: Akash Puri did well as a Lover and a Soldier, but his screen presence is still raw. He needs to improve a lot. Neha Shetty has an excellent screen presence and also performed very well. She acted just with her eyes. Vishu Reddy as the main antagonist gets a good role and did justice. Sayaji Shinde again gets a good role as Hero's dad and did well. His comedy timing is good. Murli Sharma as heroine's dad is adequate.

Technical: Direction by Puri Jagannadh is OK in the first half but goes off the rails in the second half of the movie. He completely lost control of the script and even did not have a clue when to finish the movie. Writing by Puri Jagannadh, Thatavarthi Kiran, A. Sreedhar is nothing to talk about. Music by Sandeep Chowta is the best thing that happened to this movie. The songs are very good to listen and looked very good on the screen. The background music is good. Cinematography by Vishnu Sarma is another good aspect of this otherwise somber movie. He captured the scenic locales of Himalayas and Kashmir very well. Editing by Junaid Siddiqui could have been better. Too many shots are reused which looked silly and also the movie could have used some trimming in the second half. The production by Puri Connects, Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies is rich.

Analysis: The love stories with war background is very tough to conceive and convince. Looks like the director failed miserably here. The flashback love episodes supposed to be the glue to the whole movie lacks soul. And then the Climax that feels like an endless journey that is too long and boring.

Highlights:
Neha Shetty
Music
Cinematography

Drawbacks:
Story
Screenplay
Direction

Box office: The movie will have a tough time both at the domestic and overseas market.

Verdict: Skip it.

Bottom Line: Too loud to love

Story: The rise and fall of one of the greatest actress (Savitri) ever lived. How did a middle-class village girl rose to the top of the film industry and her fall from the grace should be watched on the big screen?

Acting: Keerthy Suresh as Savitri is as perfect as anyone can be. To say she lived in the role is a small word. Throughout the movie, one will see only Savitri on the screen. No one could have done more justice to the role. Her comedy timing is as good as her acting in emotional scenes. Dulquer Salmaan as Gemini Ganesan is good. He did an excellent job in love episodes and even in emotional episodes. Samantha Akkineni as Madhuravani an upcoming reporter who tells the story of the Savitri did justice to the role. Her acting with a stammer is too good. Her emotional performance at the tail end of the movie is perfect. Vijay Devarakonda as Vijay Anthony is good. Rajendra Prasad as K.V.Chowdary (Savitri's Maternal Uncle) gets a good role and did a complete justice to the role. His comedy timing with the scenes involving Savitri and his emotional outburst, when he finds out about Savitri's love with Gemini Ganesan is too good. Naga Chaitanya as ANR is good. Tanikella Bharani, Bhanupriya, Malavika Nair, Shalini Pandey, Tulasi, Divya Vani, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Krish, Srinivas Avasaralaa and Senior Naresh played their parts very well.

Technical: Direction by Nag Aswin is flawless. He got everything right. The way he handled the screenplay by mixing humor and emotion is perfect. No one can do this better than what he accomplished. He made every actor live their roles. You don't see the actors but just the characters. Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra are good. Music by Mickey J. Meyer is good in the songs and the background score elevated the mood of the film and took it to a different level. Cinematography by Dani Sanchez-Lopez is excellent. The way he used colors to differentiate the timeline is very good. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is perfect. Kolla Avinash's art is so perfect it will be talked for years. Recreating the sets of yesteryear classics is not a simple task which he handled very well. The production by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema is Very rich and can be seen in every frame of the movie. The producers Swapna Dutt & Priyanka Dutt should be commended for believing in this movie and spending so lavishly to bring Mahanati back on silver screen one more time.

Analysis: Biopics are always tough, but this movie is a perfect example of how a biopic should be made. It is a perfect homage to the greatest actress ever lived. The roller coaster emotional journey of Mahanati Savitri couldn't have been told any better than this. The way the movie mixes the humor and emotions won't let us feel any dull movement in the movie.

Story: Surya (Allu Arjun) is an angry young man whose dream is to serve on the border. He is kicked out of the army due to his anger issues. As a last chance to achieve his dream he needs to get a signature from a noted Psychologist Ramakrishna Raju (Arjun). How did he achieve that, should be watched on the big screen?

Acting: Allu Arjun excelled in the role of an angry young man. He even created some good humor with his angry attitude. He was at ease in songs and fights. His acting in emotional scenes is good. Anu Emmanuel as the love interest of Surya did well. Her performance in the break-up scenes is good. Arjun who plays the role of famous Psychologist and Dean of a college gets a good role and does well. He performed well in the confrontation scenes. Sarathkumar as the main antagonist is excellent. His introduction scene is handled well. Thakur Anoop Singh is good. Sai Kumar as a retired soldier did well. Charuhasan is good. Boman Irani as Major is adequate. Nadia is wasted. Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali provide the much needed comic relief.

Technical: Direction by Vakkantham Vamsi is good in parts. The story writer in him did a grave injustice to the director in him. He handled the character establishment and comic episodes well but fell flat while conveying the central point of the movie. A seasoned director could have handled that well. Dialogues are passable. Music by Vishal-Shekhar is good in the songs, though the background score could have been better. Cinematography by Rajeev Ravi and Sushil Choudhary is good. The action episodes were canned well. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao could have been better in the tail end of the movie. The production by Sridhar Lagadapati, Bunny Vasu, Sushil Choudhary is rich.

Analysis: The movie starts off well, but director Vakkantham Vamsi takes too much time in establishing the main conflict which drags the movie. The conflict between the lead actors won't happen until the end of the movie. He tried to cram too much into the climax of the movie and one gets a feeling of watching two different movies. The climax is a big let down. This is where the story writer in Vamsi did a grave injustice to the director in him.

Highlights:
Allu Arjun
Songs
Action Episodes

Drawbacks:
Slow Narration
Climax
Story
Direction

Box office: The movie may end up as an average grosser at domestic Market and below average at overseas market.

Verdict: Watchable for Allu Arjun fans.

Bottom Line: Management killed the character

Reviewed By: SOCIALNEWS.XYZ

Story: Bharat Ram (Mahesh Babu) is an Oxford graduate who becomes an accidental Chief Minister of Undivided Andhra Pradesh due to the death of his Father (Sarathkumar) the sitting CM of Undivided Andhra Pradesh on the insistence of his Father's best friend and party president Prakash Raj. Bharat has no clue about politics since he spent most of his life outside India. But He soon realizes it not only the system that needs a reform but more importantly, it's the people that need to be reformed. How did he achieve that should be watched on the big screen.

Acting: Mahesh Babu lived the role of Bharat Ram. He handled both emotional and serious episodes with ease. His action in the press conference episode that comes in the second half will be talked for years. Even in action episodes, he showed a lot of ease and grace. The movie is pretty much Mahesh Babu's one-man show which he handled well. Kiara Advani (Vasumathi) as the love interest of CM Bharat has a short and sweet but an important role. She fit the role perfectly. Prakash Raj as Party President and adviser to Bharat gets an important role and comes out with another good performance. Posani Krishna Murali, Prudhvi Raj, Jeeva provide good comic relief in assembly episodes. Rao Ramesh as a middle-class father of Vasumathi did a good job. Sarathkumar though gets a very small role, His screen presence is good. Aamani as Bharat's Mother and Sithara as Step Mother fit their roles well. Devaraj, Yashpal Sharma as opposition party leader and his son are good. Brahmaji as PS for CM Bharat gets another good role which he handled with an ease.

Technical: Direction by Koratala Siva starts off slow and picks up in the second half and by the end of the movie you can't get enough. The screenplay and writing by Koratala are very good. He is one of the directors who mastered the art of showing solutions to the social problems in a commercial way. He picked off where he left off in his previous movies. He builds up the whole first half so well, by the time you are watching second half you don't know what hit you. The whole second half is an example of master a storyteller who knows how to include the necessary commercial elements without deviating from the story. The dialogues by Koratala Siva's team is good. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is good and songs look good on the screen. His background score will haunt us for some time. Cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran and Tirru is excellent. The action and assembly episodes were canned well. Editing by A. Sreekar Prasad is crisp in the second half and could have been better in the first half. The production by DVV Entertainments is very rich and can be seen on the screen in the assembly set and even in the songs. The assembly set is perfect and the art team should be commended for that.

Analysis: The movie starts off very slowly but it grows on you very fast. The first half is built very slowly to create the conflict between Promise Made and Promise Kept. The second half takes you on a roller coaster ride and by the time you realize the last 30 minutes will take you to a new high and You will walk out of the theater in an Awe of what you just watched.

Drawbacks:

Box office: The movie may end up as good grosser at both domestic and overseas markets.

Verdict: Watch it.

Bottom Line: Promise Made, Promise Kept

Story: Krishna (Nani) is a villager who is desperate for a girlfriend. He is turned down by every girl in the village. As fate would have it he meets Riya (Rukshar Mir), the granddaughter of the village head Nagineedu. She is a doctor who likes to help the people in the village. Krishna's innocence makes her fall for him. Arjun (Nani) is a very successful rock star in Europe. He is a Casanova and uses girls paper napkins. On an occasion, he sees Subba Lakshmi (Anupama Parameswaran) and tries to flirt with her who turns him down. He tries to convince her that his love is true and at one point it irritates her so much she leaves for Hyderabad. Mean While in th village Nagineedu finds out about Krishna and Riya and sends her to Hyderabad. So both Krishna and Arjun follow their respective lovers to Hyderabad. Then they find out the girls never reached their homes. What happened to them? What will Krishna and Arjun do to find the girls' forms rest of the story?

Acting: Nani did a good job in the role of Krishna but the role of Arjun is a huge letdown. His comedy timing and raw emotions as Krishna are good. Anupama Parameswaran as Subba Lakshmi has nothing new to offer. Rukshar Mir as Riya got a good role which she played very well. Her subtle expressions in love episodes are good. Ravi Awana as Villian has very short screen presence and has nothing to offer. Brahmaji as Arjun's friend and Nagineedu as Village head is adequate. Rest of Krishna's friends did their part.

Techincal: Direction by Merlapaka Gandhi is very weak. Looks like he concentrated more on Hero Characterization than on story which is very weak. There too many dragged out scenes with nothing novel to offer. He completely mishandled the key conflict by not fully establish it. Music by Hiphop Tamizha is too loud except "Dhaari Choodu" song. Even the placement of the songs felt awkward. Background score is OK. Cinematography by Karthik Ghattamaneni is good. He shot both village and Europe locals very well. The production by Sahu Garapati, Harish Peddi is rich.

Analysis: The movie opens well with a premise of Women trafficking and from there the graph goes down the hill. The key conflict point is not established well. There is no connection between the Heros and antagonist. Even Krishna and Arjun roles are half-baked and try to portray all the emotions at the same time. The heroines are a no-show in the entire second half except for a song and story revolves around Krishna and Arjun running around the city to find the girls which become tiresome after a point.

Highlights:
Nani

Drawbacks:
Story
Screenplay
Direction

Box office: The movie will have a tough time at the box office in both domestic and overseas markets.

Verdict: Watch it at your own risk.

Bottom Line: There are no winners in this war.

Reviewed By: SOCIALNEWS.XYZ

Story: Chitti Babu (Ram Charan) is a deaf guy who lives his life by operating a motor in a small village called Rangasthalam. He falls in love with Ramalakshmi (Samantha Akkineni) at first sight. Chitti Babu's brother Kumar Babu (Aadhi Pinisetty) returns from Dubai. He is a good-natured guy who tries to help farmers who are exploited by the Society loans with help of village President(Jagapati Babu) who is ruling the village 30 years unopposed. Kumar Babu tries to help Ramalakshmi from Society loans which leads to a big argument and lands Chitti Babu in jail for bashing up Presidents man. This pushes Kumar Babu to content in the presidential election with the support of Dakshina Murthy (Prakash Raj). What happens to the brothers forms the rest of the story.

Acting: Ram Charan reinvented himself as an actor with this. He did a very balanced role of angry young man and a deaf guys. His comedy timing was excellent. The Chitti Babu character has multiple shades and Ram Charan handled it well. Samantha Akkineni as Ramalakshmi was fun to watch. Her cute and subtle expressions in love scenes with Charan are excellent. She did the role with so much ease you will see only Ramalakshmi on the screen. Aadhi Pinisetty as an educated youth and the conscience of Chitti Babu played it well. Jagapati Babu as a cutthroat president once again gets a meaty role to which he did justice, though it has shades of roles he did before. Anasuya Bharadwaj as Rangammatta got a good role and did well. Prakash Raj makes an impact through his role was limited by the script. Director might have shown his cards too soon by casting him for the role.

Techincal: Direction by Sukumar is good in parts. The story he choose is too old and beaten to death in Indian movies N number of times. The screenplay should have been tight which is where Sukumar failed as a director. There is no consistent pace in the movie. The movie is a slow drag. It picks up the steam giving the audience a hope to see some racy scenes but Sukumar immediately pulls it back. The dialogues by Sukumar's team is commendable. Music by Devi Sri Prasad for songs helps the slow pace of the movie bearable. He did an excellent job on Background score too. Cinematography by R. Rathnavelu is excellent. He showed the rustic look a 1985's villages in a realistic way. Editing by Navin Nooli is a letdown. These kinds of stories need a crisp editing which Navin failed to do. The movie needs to be trimmed by 20-25 minutes at least. The production by Mythri Movie Makers is very rich and can be seen on the screen every penny spent. The 1985 village looks so authentic and the producers and the art team should be commended for that.

Analysis: The screenplay is a big let down. The movie starts off at a very snail pace and starts to pick up the steam at the midpoint. Sukumar could have pulled it off if he maintained the same pace in the second half, but the temp drops drastically and too many slow dramatic scenes kill the mood of the film. By the time movie gains traction most of the audience might have guessed the ending, which is supposed to be a big suspense.

A number of scenes give a feeling that they were designed to bring out the actor in Ram Charan. If that is the case, "Operation Successful, Patient Dead".

Drawbacks:

Box office: The movie may end up an average grosser at both domestic and overseas markets.

Verdict: Watch it at your leisure and with a lot of patience.

Bottom Line: Operation Successful, Patient ......

Story: Abhijith Bhargav (Pawan Kalyan ) comes out of exile and joins his own company as Assistant Manager after his Dad and Brother are killed. Did Abhijith succeed in his mission of exposing his family killers forms the rest of the story?

Acting: Pawan Kalyan is in his element in action scenes but the comedy scenes missed his punch. Keerthy Suresh, Anu Emmanuel have roles nothing to talk about. They did their part. But their own dubbing felt very odd. Kushboo did an excellent job as a woman who gets caught in a power struggle. Her screen presence is very good. She was able to hold some scenes just with her expressions. Boman Irani got a good role and he did a good job. Aadhi Pinisetty as villain looked debonaire. Looks like Telugu industry has found a good anti-hero. Tanikella Bharani as hero's uncle fit the bill to tee. Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma roles (Varma & Sharma) comes as a comic relief but at times went overboard. Sampath Raj is wasted.

Techincal: Director Trivikram Srinivas tried to deal a revenge drama using comedy and suspense. Trying to pull this off he failed. The comedy scenes and suspense scenes overlap and create more confusion. His mark is missing most part of the movie. He showed his genius in glimpses but not enough to hold the movie. The screenplay should have been better. Cinematography by V. Manikandan is excellent. Every frame in the movie looked beautiful. Editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao could have been better. Some scenes felt like we missed something. Music by Anirudh Ravichander is OK. But the songs felt odd on the screen. The background music is good though. Production by Haarika & Hassine Creations is good.

Analysis: The screenplay is a big let down. Revenge drama with comedy and suspense would have worked if the comedy has worked. But it felt like beaten to death routine comedy and has nothing new to offer. The screenplay at times felt like watching Atharintiki Daaredi. The action episodes are good but they happen too fast to even enjoy.

Box office: The movie has a high pre-release business and needs to perform very well over this holiday week to recover some of it.

Story: Seenu/Avinash (Akhil) is an orphan who becomes friends Junnu/Priya (Kalyani Priyadarshan) in Hyderabad. Junnu's dad gets transferred to Delhi. Seenu grows up as Avinash and Junnu as Priya. What happened to this childhood friends and How did they find each other forms the story of the film.

Acting: Akhil's acting has improved a lot compared to his first film. He looks uber cool throughout the film and did some amazing stunts and dances. Kalyani did a good job for a first movie. She looks fresh and felt very comfortable in her role. Ramaya Krishana as dotting a mother did a wonderful job. Her role works a catalyst between the lead pair. Her acting and comedy timing was top notch. Jagapathi Babu as loving dad did justice in his limited role. Ajay as comedy villain is ok. His role is not fully developed and at times felt like forced to created action scenes.

Techincal: The story by Vikram Kumar is nothing special. He managed to overcome that with his direction, even though at times felt like he is still in Manam hangover he pulled it off well. He mixed the emotional and action scenes well. He handled the subtle romantic scenes very well. The Music by Anup Rubens is a big asset to the movie. His background score brightens the mood of the movie. All songs looked good on the screen. The Cinematography by P.S Vinod is excellent. All the visuals look like a rich canvas. He covered up the Akhil's weakness very well. Prawin Pudi editing could have been better. Some scenes felt little dragged. The production by Nagarjuna Akkineni is top notch. Every frame in the movie looks rich.

Analysis: The story has nothing to talk about as boy meets girl, gets separated and gets her at the end has been tried and tested a number of times before but the way, Director Vikram Kumar presented the movie makes it watchable. A lot of scenes has Manam hangover but the way he mixed action episodes in between emotional scenes makes it different. The first half of the movie is dominated by the childhood story. Even though Akhil has a couple of good action episodes one can't get over those kids. The second half is good with nice emotional scenes between the lead cast. Even though the climax feels like little stretched it has a good feel. The audience will walk out of the movie with a good feeling.

Highlights:

Akhil
Ramya Krishna
Lead Pair Chemistry
Stunts
Music

Drawbacks:

Routine Story
Slow Narration
Manam Hangover

Box office: The movie should do well in A centers and Overseas. The overall result depends on how the actions episodes are received in the B & C centers.

Verdict: A feel-good Love Story and can be easily watched once.

Bottom Line: Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)

Director: A.R Murugadoss

Rating: 2.75

Reviewed By: SOCIALNEWS.XYZ

Story: Shiva (Mahesh), A tech-savvy crime fighter crosses path with a Psyco killer (Surya). Shiva makes his mission to stop this Pysco at any cost. Did Shiva succeed in his mission forms the rest of the story?

Acting: Mahesh tried to hold the movie with his screen presence and timing but even he could not escape the weak screenplay. His action in emotional episodes and timing in the comedy scenes are perfect. S.J Surya as Psyco did a tremendous job and looks like he found his calling. The screenplay again didn't do justice to his role. Rakul Preeth Singh is supposed to be a glamour relief but somewhere like the movie, her role got lost in translation. Priyadarshi Pullikonda and RJ Balaji are adequate as hero's friends. Bharath as Psyco's brother is short but significant and he did well in the limited space.

Techincal: Director A.R Murgadoss chose an interesting thriller but failed completely in translating it to the screen. The screenplay has no rhyme or rhythm. Some parts felt like one's watching old movies where songs pop up to just to break the serious mood of the film. This might have worked in a regular commercial film but in a thriller, it just makes the audience more impatient. There are a couple of good action episodes but they happen back to back which makes it a tedious. The writing and dialogues by A.R. Murugadoss have nothing to talk about. The story he chooses to tell is interesting on paper but feels like it was never completely developed. Music by Harris Jayaraj for songs was passable but did a good job on Background score. Cinematography by Santosh Sivan was good. Editing by A. Sreekar Prasad was good in parts. The production by NVR Cinema is rich.

Analysis: The screenplay is a big let down from the word go. Every time you hope the movie will gather momentum you are pulled back. All the good action scenes happen at the tail end of the movie but by then the audience patience too comes to an end. The movie makes one feel like they are watching an American TV Drama "CSI". The screenplay is mostly on hero's narration than the actual action, which might work in a one-hour TV show but gets tedious in a two and half hour movie.

Highlights:

Mahesh
Action Episodes
SJ Surya

Drawbacks:

Screenplay
Music
Story
Direction
Dialogues

Box office: The movie has no scope of surviving at the box office either in India or Overseas.

Verdict: You can easily skip it unless you are Harcore fan of Mahesh

Bottom Line: Screenplay Lost in Translation.

Story: Jai (NTR) is the elder brother of Lava (NTR) and Kusa (NTR). Jai is treated as a servant since he has a stammer and can't act in dramas. This hurts his ego at very young age and turns him into Ravana. So he tries to get rid of them and in the process, they get separated. Jai grows up as Cruel Ravana while Lava becomes a soft Bank Manager and Kusa, a cunning thief. Time passes and as fate would have it Ravana needs the help of Lava and Kusa. What does Ravana need from them and how did Lava and Kusa try to reform Ravana into Jai from the rest of the story.

Acting: NTR excelled in all three roles. His transformation into 3 roles was smooth. The voice change over for 3 roles is good to watch. Raashi Khanna was good in the limited role as Lava's Love interest, Nivetha Thomas's character starts with high promise, but cut short as director tried to wrap the movie. Tamannaah's special song is completely unnecessary and feels like it was shot to in a hurry to meet a deadline. Priyadarshi Pullikonda is a relief to the routine comedy scenes. His comedy timing is excellent. Saikumar and Posani Murali Krishna are adequate.

Techincal: Director K. S. Ravindra story sounds very interesting, but he was let down big time by his writing team. Too many routine scenes and moving everyone into the same house in the second half makes you feel like Deja Vu. The writing by K S. Ravindra, Kona Venkat, K. Chakravarthy has nothing to talk about most of the scenes are hashed out from the previous movies. Music by Devi Sri Prasad for the songs felt repetitive. The background score could have been better. Cinematography by Chota K. Naidu is excellent. He did an excellent job in presenting all three roles. The production by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is top notch. The movie has rich visuals.

Analysis: The movie starts off on a good note but the lack imagination in designing the scenes, makes audience disconnect from the movie. The scenes to transform Jai to Ravana are excellent but the reverse transformation from Ravana to Jai is not convening and feels rushed. Some scenes look like there are just there to show the acting powers of NTR. This makes you seen NTR and not the roles.

Highlights:

NTR Acting in 3 roles
Comedy in Parts

Drawbacks:

Routine Screenplay

Box office: The movie should do a good business in India. The overseas result may depend on the future movies.

Verdict: Watch it, if you like NTR acting skills.

Bottom Line: The movie looks like a Jr.NTR's audition tape for SS Rajmouli's Mahabartham.

Goosebumps !!! Goosebumps!!! Goosebumps!!!!

Story: Mahendra Baahubali(Prabhas) falls in love with Maharani Devasena at first sight. Rajamatha Sivagami (Ramya Krishna) does not approve of their love but eventually aggress to marry them on one condition. What is the condition and what happens when egos of two powerful women collide with venom infused by Bhallala Deva(Rana) and Bijjaladeva(Nassar) forms the crux of the story?

Acting: Prabhas has excelled in both roles. He gave his best performance till date, especially in the emotional scenes. His diction has improved a lot. Anushka as Devasena gets a meaty role and she ran away with it. If Baahubali part one belongs to Shivagami Part 2 belongs to Devasena. She is the voice of the reason in the movie. Ramya Krishna as Sivagami did her role to the Tee. The scenes between her and Anushka will stand out. Sathyaraj as Kattappa showed his funny and witty side. His emotions when Killing Baahubali is top notch. Nassar as Bijjaladeva gets a meaty role with the shades of Shakuni and He excelled in the role. Rana as Bhallala Deva has two shades to his role. He did justice to both the roles. Subbaraju is a surprise package whose role irritates us in the beginning of the movie but eventually, we will connect to the role as it becomes a major part of the story. Tamannaah's role is very limited. If you blink, you will miss her.

Techincal: Director Rajamouli took a simple story and weaved an emotional and visual magic around it and took it to the heights that can only be reached by him. Word can't describe the way he developed the emotional and character elevation scenes. You have to watch it to feel it. The only part where he might have let himself down was a weak love story between the lead pair. The story by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad has powerful characters that will remain in the heart of the movie lovers forever. Music by M.M Keeravani is excellent and Background music of the movie is the soul of the movie. Cinematography by K. K. Senthil Kumar is excellent. VFX by Kamal Kannan will be talked about for years. You can write a book about it. The production by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni is out the world and you really need a heart of a Lion to complete the project of this magnitude.

Analysis: The movie takes you on an emotional rollercoaster ride from the first scene. Every emotional scene is followed by an elevational scene. Looks like Rajamouli took notes of the things missed in Baahbali part 1 and made sure nothing is missed this time. The only thing that drags the movie a bit is the love and comedy track in 1st half other than that it is an emotional journey. The scenes before the interval and trial of Pregnant Devasena as Prisoner will stand out.

Highlights:

Anushka, Prabhas, Ramya Krishna
Background Score
VFX
War Episodes
Character Elevations

Drawbacks:
Dragged Love Story

Box office: The movie will rewrite all Indian Box-office records both at home and abroad and may even break the 1000 crores club.

Verdict: Don't miss it, Also don't rush it.

A Romantic Ghost held back by an old-school screenplay.

Story: Bangaru Raju (Nagarjuna) makes a deal with Yama (Naga Babu) and comes back to earth as a spirit to help his son Dr. Ramu (Nagarjuna) who is socially awkward. How Bangaru Raju helped Dr. Ramu overcome his social awkwardness and help him from the baddies forms the rest of the story.

Acting: Nagarjuna handled the dual roles of Bangaru Raju and doctor Ramu very well. His comedy timing in Bangaru Raju's character is excellent. The humor generated between both characters is good. Ramya Krishna once again excels. The scenes between her and Bangaruraju came out very well. Lavanya Tripati did well within her scope. Brahmanandam was good enough but seems redundant. Naga babu as Yama is adequate.

Techincal: Director Kalyan Krishna failed to execute the script. The screenplay looks to old schooled and has nothing new to offer. Music by Anoop Rubens is good and it is the only thing that is fresh in this movie. Photography by P. S. Vinod is good. He maintained the village fell through the movie. The production by Annapurna Studios is rich.

Analysis: The socio-fantasy films need a good screenplay since the audience has watched these type of movies n number of times. The comedy between Bangaru Raju and doctor Ramu came out well other than that it sticks to old school and cliched screenplay. The movie will not bore anyone at the same time will not thrill.

Highlights:

Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna

Music

Comedy between dual roles

Drawbacks:

Old Story

Old Screenplay

Box office: The movie should do well if it could use the holidays well at domestic Market. At overseas, It should be an average fair.

Verdict: A time pass film. Watch it at your leisure.

Story: Chandu (Balakrishna), works as an employee in Dharma supermarket store and gets in tug with MLA Govardhana Rao (Chakravakam Madhu) for Indu (Sonal Chauhan). Then, Chandu’s true identity is revealed. Who is Chandu and who are his enemies and how does he end them forms the rest of the story.

Acting: Balakrishna is excellent playing two roles with different shades. Sonal Chauhan is used just as a glam doll and limited to first half of the movie, Anjali did well in her cameo as a love interest of Chandrasekhar Dharma. Rati Agnihotri did an excellent job as the villain. Even with such a huge cast, she really sticks out. Prithvi again shines with his style comedy. Suman, Nassar are adequate.

Techincal: Director Sriwass went with typical potboiler and developed the story around Balakrishna. He did not take any risk and add entertainment in right amounts. Thaman’s songs are good but Chinna’s background score is nothing to talk about. Photography by Shyam K. Naidu is good. The production by Eros International is good.

Analysis: This is a typical movie tailor made for Balakrishna with nothing new to offer though will work with a certain section of the audience.

Box office: The movie will do very well in mass centers and may not get any traction in class centers or overseas markets.

Crime Comedy Gone Haywire.

Story: The story revolves around the story of a diamond, dog, and Raja (Sharwanand), an unemployed youth chased by a bunch of gangs. Why all these gangs are behind Raja and what has the diamond and dog has to with Raja forms the crux of the story.

Acting: Sharwanand did well but pulled back by a week story. He did his best to keep the movie interesting. Surabhi is passable. Urvashi is too loud and not used well. Saptagiri's comedy did not work well.

Techincal: After a successful debut Movie Venkatadiri Express Merlapaka Gandhi now tries his hand in crime comedy and failed in getting a good screenplay which he managed very well in Venkatadiri Express. Music by Praveen Lakkaraju is the only saving grace of the movie. Cinematography by Karthik Ghattamaneni is good. The production by UV Creations is rich.

Analysis: The whole movie revolves around a single thread and depends heavily on a gripping screenplay. The movie doesn't have either a fast-paced screenplay nor novelty.

Too Intelligent to understand by common Telugu Audience, but a well-needed makeover for NTR.

Story: Abhiram (NTR) is an NRI who loses his Job and starts a 'Company of Losers'. He is very close to his dad RameshChandra (Rajendra Prasad) once a richest NRI business magnet in the UK. RameshChandra will be cheated of all his money by Krishnamurthy (Jagapathi Babu ), a rich busiASnessman, who believes that a good businessman is a good cheater. Abhiram makes a promise to his dad to take down Krishnamurthy. The Cat and mouse game between Abhiram and Krishnamurthy forms the crux of the story.

Acting: NTR is excellent in his new look and is refreshing to watch. He controlled his expressions very well in the movie. He did an excellent job as the loving son and Intelligent Guy tasked to take down a big businessman. This movie is a complete and well-needed makeover for him. Rakul Preet Singh looked beautiful and the chemistry between NTR and Rakul worked well. Jagapathi Babu has another author-backed role and Telugu film industry found a gem of a villain. The scenes between him and NTR are excellent. Rajendra Prasad did well within the boundaries of his role. Srinivas Avasarala, Vennela Kishore, Rajiv Kanakala are adequate.

Techincal: Director Sukumar took a simple story and added an intelligent screenplay. The intelligent part is where he stretched the line a little and became cocky in the execution of the script. He spoiled the soul of the movie by concentrating too much on intelligence. Music by Devi Sri is excellent and songs will be chartbusters for a long time. Cinematography by Vijay C Chakravarthy is excellent with rich visuals. The production by B. V. S. N. Prasad is Superior and made no compromise on the quality of the movie.

Analysis: The movie makes you feel you are watching a Hollywood movie but at the same time it feels like the soul is missing in the movie. An extra care should have been taken in designing the intelligent concepts used in the movie so the common audience can comprehend.

Box office: The movie will do very well in both class centers and the overseas market though it will have an upward battle at mass centers.

A different kind of Love Story but let down a little by predictable scenes

Story: Hari (Ram) is a very unlucky guy when it comes to love since his childhood. So he gives up on love and at this time he meets Sailaja (Keerthi). He starts to have feelings for her but suppresses them knowing his luck. Eventually, they both realize that they are childhood besties. Ram finally proposes and gets rejected again. So rest of the movie is how he wins his Childhood Sweetheart the one that got away.

Acting: Ram is excellent as a boy next door and also did exceedingly well in the emotions scenes. His Comedy timing is good too. His scenes with Pradeep Rawat are Hilarious. Keerthi is good. Satya Raj is adequate. Pradeep Rawat stole the show. His role will be talked about a lot. Vamsi Krishna is good as a baddie.

Techincal: Director Kishore Tirumala designed a different type of love story but failed to create a new screenplay. A lot of scenes are predictable but watchable. He got comedy right which helped the movie a lot. He should have taken care of screenplay more in the second half. Music by Devi Sri is excellent. Photography by Sameer Reddy needs a special mention. The visuals are very rich. The production of the movie by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is top notch.

Analysis: The first half of the movie has a good entertainment and the second half is little let down by dragged out emotional scenes but saved by good comedy. An overall watchable film.

Highlights

Drawbacks:

Dragged Scenes in Second half

Box office: The movie will do very well in both domestic and overseas market. The range can depend on the Sankranthi movies.

Verdict: An easy one time watch.

Reviewed By: SOCIALNEWS.XYZ

A Joy Ride and a good movie to close out 2015

Story: Ram (Sudheer Babu) is upset that his former girlfriend Dhanya Balakrishna is marrying a rich guy. So he decides to ruin her wedding and in the process, he meets with an accident. He wakes up after the accident and realizes that his close friend’s life is in danger because of a kidnapper, Shakti (Saikumar). The rest of the story is how Ram goes about to solve his problems and who is Seeta (Wamiqua Gabbi).

Acting: Sudheer Babu is perfect as a guy who is thrown into a lot of pressure situations . Prithvi is very good and he stole the show again. Dhanya Balakrishna and Wamiqua Gabbi were adequate. Chaitanya Krishna is good in a negative role. Sai Kumar is too loud. Posani Krishna Murali comedy works in parts.

Techincal: Director Sriram Adittya T takes his own sweet time in the first half but once the twist is revealed the movie is highly entertaining. He had full control on the script. Music by Sunny MR is good. The Photography by Shamdat Sainudeen is a major asset for the movie. The production values of Vijay and Shashi are Top Notch.

Analysis: The first half of the movie is little slow and takes it own time, but the second half makes up for it. The last 15 minutes is 'Entertainment Unlimited'. The audience will exit the theater with a good feeling.

Highlights

Second Half

Entertainment

Drawbacks:

Box office: The movie will do very well in the domestic circuit and at the overseas market it can do wonders if promoted well. It will be the biggest hit in Sudheer Babu's career.

Verdict: Don't miss it

An overdose of 'Pawanism'

Story: Ravi Teja decides to become a famous person since he gets rejected by a girl for not being a celebrity. He traps the Home Minister and his daughter Raashi Khanna in this process. However, there is another motive for him to become a celebrity? What is his relation with Boman Irani (Chief Minister) and Tamannaah? This forms the rest of the story.

Acting: Ravi Teja is at ease since the role is tailor-made for him with full of energy. Prithvi is very good. Tamanna and Rashi Khanna were mostly used as glamor dolls. Boman Irani looked good as chief minister. Rao Ramesh and Sayaji Shinde are adequate. Posani Krishna Murali as a 40-Year-old Virgin is good.

Techincal: Director Sampath Nandi got everything right in first half and fell flat in the second half. The idea to use Pawan Kalyan references is good for a couple of scenes, but the overdose will distract the viewer from the movie. Music by Bheems is passable. The Photography by Soundararajan is excellent and the action episodes are good. The production values of KK Radha Mohan are Top Notch.

Analysis: The first half of the movie is good with all right commercial elements and comedy. The second half is boring with routine scenes and dragged out climax. The climax could have been trimmed.

Highlights

Ravi Teja and Pruthvi

First Half

Songs

Drawbacks:

Pawanism

Routine Second Half

Dragged Ending

Box office: The movie will do well in the domestic circuit and in the overseas market it will be another loss venture.

Verdict: Just a one time watch, If you have time to kill.
