His estate took to his X, formerly Twitter, and shared the news. They wrote, “We announce with great sorrow the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart yesterday at his home in Los Angeles, in the loving care of his beloved wife Sunny, following a brief and poignant journey with Alzheimer's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. He has been held in the warm embrace of family and friends, surrounded by live music, prayer, tears, laughter, and the kind of profound emotion that only he could inspire after a lifetime of devotion to us all. We will forever cherish the peaceful ease and reflection on his face, an enduring reminder of his invincible grace”.

They further mentioned, “A son of Mirfield in the West Riding of Yorkshire, he travelled from the Royal Shakespeare Company to an equally acclaimed career spanning 6 decades on Broadway, the silver screen and television”.

The actor is survived by his third wife, singer Sunny Ozell and Daniel and Sophia, children from his first marriage from actor Sheila Falconer. Tributes poured as soon as the news of his death broke. Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine in the X-Men film franchise, took to his Instagram, and wrote, “We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days”.

Patrick Stewart's last cinematic appearance will be Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to be released in India on December 17, 2026.

She recently appeared on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, where she said, “There was an instance on set where crew members who were not approved when I was doing nudity were on set. I came down hard on it, purely because if we are not setting that principle, then what on earth is going to happen to an 18-year-old unknown when she shows up and there’s people on set who are not approved (to be there)? She’s going to be in a position of, ‘Do I say something and get a reputation for being difficult, or do I let these people that I’m not comfortable seeing me naked see me naked?’ It was important to me to explain that to the people why that was not okay”.

Jennifer previously explained that she wanted to give director Lynne Ramsay, 56, "total freedom artistically" for Die My Love.

Elsewhere in the podcast, the actress opened up about the “unbelievable” reunion as she’s set to reprise her role in 'The Hunger Games' franchise more than a decade later alongside Josh Hutcherson, who played Katniss’ love interest Peeta in the original series, and Woody Harrelson as their mentor Haymitch.

She shared, “It was so emotional. Josh (Hutcherson) and I didn’t walk to the bathroom without our arms around each other. It was so beautiful”.

The Silver Linings Playbook star went on to describe the nostalgic feeling. “It was so crazy because it was the same crew,” Lawrence said. “It was the same camera guys, the same AD who I’ve worked with a million times too because I love him, and Josh and Woody”, she added.

She also penned a long note in the caption, as she recollected her 1st meeting with the leader. She wrote, “Dolores Huerta. Six years ago I asked God to let us keep the gift of you for another century. We got 96 years of you fighting for us, for justice, for equality, for dignity. Our legendary civil rights leader, the angel for undocumented and Latin American workers in the United States”.

Dolores Huerta was born in Dawson, New Mexico, and grew up in Stockton, California, where she witnessed the struggles of working-class families. After briefly working as a schoolteacher, she turned to community organising. In 1962, she co-founded the National Farm Workers Association with political activist Cesar Chavez, which later became the United Farm Workers (UFW).

She played a crucial role in the 1965 Delano grape strike and nationwide grape boycotts, helping secure better wages and working conditions for farmworkers. He clarified his and fellow DC co-head Peter Safran's 2022 comments about an “8 to 10-year plan" for the cinematic world and insisted it is important to have standalone stories as well as films that slot together.

He took to his Threads account recently, and shared, “You can look at my quotes from January ’23 when we started and I said we were going to do exactly what we’re doing. I said some stories would be standalone like the Guardians movies were (which is what Clayface is) and some stories would have part of a larger narrative structure, which is what the Superman Saga is. All that said, each piece of the larger story should work on its own with or without having to see everything else”.

He further mentioned, “ALSO, some things get conflated here. The often cited ‘8 to 10 year roadmap’ originally pitched wasn’t only story points (although that was a part of it), but also the plan for DC as a whole, including focusing on diamond characters (Superman, Batman, WW) as well as smaller characters we could turn into diamonds (Krypto, John Stewart, Peacemaker), how we would foster filmmaker freedom and allow for multiple tones and ratings, the influences of Star Wars George RR Martin, and so much more”.

The director is "excited" about the way his vision has been coming together.

“It’s exciting seeing things START to come together and all that makes me even more excited for what we have in store for everyone in Man of Tomorrow”, he added.

Actor Shaun Cassidy took to his Instagram, and shared a still from ‘Breaking Away’ in which he shared the screen with the actress.

He wrote, “Dear Barbara, thank you for your wisdom, kindness, guidance, humor, and boundless talent. God bless you and your family. #RIPBarbaraBarrie”.

Actor Charles Busch took to his Facebook, and penned a long note, as he remembered the late actress.

He wrote, “All day I’ve had this quietly haunted feeling, so hard to express, but then a short while ago, I read that the great actress, Barbara Barrie, has died. I was certainly not among her closest friends, but I feel so fortunate to have known her and to have enjoyed marvelous long phone conversations over the years. Without ever proselytizing, she imparted such wisdom, perhaps just by allowing me to witness her enjoyment of life. I met her through her son, Aaron, who was developing a musical I was brought in to write. She began attending my plays and cabaret performances, sometimes schlepping down to Theater for the New City in the East Village. It was impossible for me not to always be aware of her brilliance as an actress”.

He further mentioned, “I’ll never forget the ending to the 1964 film, ‘One Potato Two Potato’. She was as heartbreaking in drama as she was skilled in comedy. In 2014, she gave a transcendent performance as Katrin in the Transport Company’s revelatory revival of ‘I Remember Mama’. Without any outward effort, you just believed she was an adolescent girl. She truly seemed to live in the moment. A year or so ago, we were talking on the phone and she was telling me that she was in such agony with a disintegrating hip that she was insisting on having hip replacement. The surgery was so risky for a woman in her 90s”.

“She told me she’d rather die than live with that pain and limited activity. So she had it done and when I spoke with her some months later, she said it was miraculous. She was back at her summer house on Fire Island… swimming in the ocean! And so, I’m not in the least surprised to read that with a recent terminal cancer diagnosis, she chose assisted suicide. Once more, she’s teaching us the most beautiful lessons of an independent loving existence. My condolences to her family, and thank you, Barbara, for taking me on as a friend”, he added.

The actress made her film debut in ‘Giant’ in 1956, and went on to star in 1964’s ‘One Potato, Two Potato’, for which she won the best actress award at the Cannes Film Festival. In 1979, she starred in ‘Breaking Away’, which was nominated for five Oscars. She earned a best supporting actress nod for her role.

Los Angeles, Oct 29 (SocialNews.XYZ) Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone has opened up about one of the most difficult chapters of his life, recalling his experiences at a tough school when he was 16, where punishment meant being sent to a place known as the “Snake Pit”.

Stallone took to Instagram, where he shared a video talking about going to a “tough school” at the age of 16, which exposed him to frightening situations that he would never otherwise have encountered.

He wrote in the caption: This was one of the hardest parts of The Steps to write. I was 16 years old and at a rough school where punishment could mean being sent to a place we called the ‘Snake Pit.’”

In the clip, where he said: “One of the hardest chapters in this book to write is what happened to me when I was 16. I went to a very, very tough school, basically almost a kind of reform school. And when you were punished, they took you to a certain building called the snake pit.”

He added that persevering through those hard moments made him feel he would be ready to face any obstacle that came his way.

Stallone said: “And there you are exposed to things that you'll never be exposed to, scary things. And I thought if I could persevere, empower through this kind of stuff, I'll be ready to face any kind of challenge that ever comes my way. And then it happens.”

Talking about the Hollywood legend, he made his screen debut in the 1970 with "The Party at Kitty and Stud's". Before becoming an icon, Stallone took on a few uncredited roles in films like Downhill Racer and Bananas.

However, his breakthrough and official launch into mainstream cinema came in 1974 with his starring role in "The Lords of Flatbush". Shortly after, he wrote and starred in the 1976 blockbuster "Rocky", which established him as a global icon.

Regarded as an icon of action cinema, Stallone after Rocky portrayed the PTSD-plagued soldier John Rambo in First Blood, a role he would play across five Rambo films. Taking to Instagram, Vin shared that the film’s character Caparzo, who dies while helping a child, reminded him of his mother’s mantra: “The best way to help yourself is to help other people.”

“Brooklyn kid in the uniform, WWII… wrote a letter home to his old man…He never got to send it. 29 years ago I came home from playing him. Paramount had just wrote my first check, as an actor.”

In another social media story, the actress shared a closer look at the mehendi and asked about a traditional practice believed to help darken its colour.

“The question is, will the chashni work? IYKYK,” she wrote.

For the uninitiated, Chashni refers to sugar syrup, which is traditionally dabbed onto dried mehendi to help keep the paste moist and potentially deepen the stain as it develops. The practice is commonly followed to achieve a darker mehendi colour.

Priyanka, who is married to American singer Nick Jonas, has often shared glimpses of her efforts to keep her traditions alive even in a foreign country and makes sure to keep daughter Malti Marie connected to Indian traditions and festivities

Earlier, the actress offered a glimpse of the family's Dussehra celebrations at their Los Angeles home.

The celebrations included Pooja, Shivling Abhishek and Havan, along with Kanya Pujan, during which Nick was seen washing Malti's feet. Malti was dressed in an ivory outfit and wore a red scarf bearing the words “Jai Mata Di”.

Amy said, “You’re not asking me for feedback on ‘The Pitt’, but I’m going to give you a little bit of feedback. If you’re going to show so much guts and blood, if you’re gonna go there – and your make-up team is incredible”.

She further mentioned, “The stuff you do is bananas. I don’t watch most of it. I cover my eyes, but I mean, I can’t take it, but if you’re going to show that much, every time you got to get a little smooch. Someone’s gotta do a little smooch”.

Noah wasn’t exactly convinced by the suggestion and questioned whether every graphic scene should be accompanied by a romantic moment.

He said, “Oh, you think it’s one for one?” Amy replied, “One for one, just a tiny smooch. Just one middle of the day (smooch)”. Noah suggested he might be prepared to consider a compromise, saying he would “maybe” discuss a “one-to-four ratio, but certainly not one to one”.

Amy then offered another suggestion for balancing the programme’s graphic medical content with moments of intimacy.

She shared that filming some of its most daring stunts came with serious risks but she was game for it given her gut feeling about the project.

The 36-year-old actress, who stars as Katniss Everdeen in ‘The Hunger Games’ franchise, recently looked back on the film that started it all and the stunts she pulled off to make it a success.

She appeared on the latest episode of ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast during the press tour of her upcoming film ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ film.

She said, “There was a scene where I’m running down a mountain and there are, like, fireballs being fired at me and none of it was CGI”.

While acting out some of the movements, the actress recollected how “everything really was exploding and catching on fire”.

She further mentioned, “If you strayed away from your trail, which is not clear because if they, you know, put red tape or something you’ll see it. So you just kind of have a general idea of, like, where to go and like if you’re wrong you will blow up”.

Elsewhere in the podcast, the actress opened up about the “unbelievable” reunion as she’s set to reprise her role more than a decade later alongside Josh Hutcherson, who played Katniss’ love interest Peeta in the original series, and Woody Harrelson as their mentor Haymitch.

She shared, “It was so emotional. Josh (Hutcherson) and I didn’t walk to the bathroom without our arms around each other. It was so beautiful”.

The Silver Linings Playbook star went on to describe the nostalgic feeling. “It was so crazy because it was the same crew,” Lawrence said. “It was the same camera guys, the same AD who I’ve worked with a million times too because I love him, and Josh and Woody”, she added.

Once he realised his mistake, he was left mortified after accidentally sending the picture. The Jonas Brothers recently reflected on the hilarious mishap during the latest episode of their ‘Hey Jonas’ podcast, and shared what exactly went down behind the indecent snap which ended up in their group chat.

For the context, the siblings and some friends discuss American football and their favourite team, the New York Giants in the group.

Joe said, “There was a big announcement that JJ McCarthy, who is going to be... he’s going to start as our quarterback”.

Nick added that Kevin had then sent a picture to the group of a television screen, on which news of the starting line-up had been announced.

He said, “It’s a TV and it’s got the announcement on it and no one like kind of thinks much of it”.

The discussion moved onto predictions for the Super Bowl in February 2027, before going quiet for an hour. However, around 60 minutes later, “panic texts” from Kevin start arriving. The first text read, “Guys delete the photo I’m sorry”.

He followed that with “C*** my life”, before correcting himself by saying a similar-sounding 4 letter word. Kevin then added in another message, “Delete the thread f***”.

Reflecting on his error on the podcast chat, Kevin said, “The photo has mirrors and I didn’t clock it. And it was in our bathroom and I took the photo as I’m getting into the shower”.

Joe then interjected, as he said, “But there’s mirrors surrounding the TV and you can only see...it’s like the greatest thing that you didn’t know happened. There’s a big TV and right below it is a mirror and it’s only your d***”.

Struggling to hold back his laughter, Nick called the situation “legendary”, as he said, “What’s funny is not the photo. It’s these four texts back to back that are like poetry”.

The group members quickly told Kevin there was no need to apologise, with Nick bringing the conversation back to the topic in hand by writing, “Go Giants”.

Kevin concluded by saying he’s just grateful that the indecent photo didn’t end up anywhere it shouldn’t, as he said, “It could have gone to so many other places. Oh my God”.

The filmmaker recently attended a special screening of his 2019 film at AFI Fest 2026 in Los Angeles where he spoke about his upcoming debut stage play, ‘The Popinjay Cavalier’, and opened up about writing for mediums other than film.

He said during the event, “I’m a writer and that’s just kind of what I do. I’m always writing something. I’m always writing. I always got some film [or] book in the back of my head. So, there’s never, like, ‘Oh, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I don’t have anything to write’. I always have some little thing that I’m taking five years to do or whatever”.

As per Tarantino, as he ages, he’s turned to writing in his personal life as well. He shared, “As I’m getting older, being a man of letters is more my thing. So screenplays and books and plays and everything except poetry. I don’t think I’m very good at poetry”.

Tarantino shared that he’s still in the midst of working on his first stage play, as rehearsals are set to begin in November, and the play will open on London’s West End in March 2027.

Quentin Tarantino, born on March 27, 1963, in Knoxville, Tennessee, is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and actor.

He further mentioned, “He would have been 99 years old today, if he’d lived. 99 years old, which, of course, that’s a long shot that he would have made 99, but he was gone too soon. He was gone too soon”.

At the time of his death, the actor had only appeared in series like ‘The Doctors’ and ‘Cutter to Houston’. In his video, he reflected on his life with wife Hilaria Baldwin and their seven children (Alec also shares his oldest daughter Ireland Baldwin with ex-wife Kim Basinger).

He continued, “Here I am, I’m 68 years old and I’ve started another family. She said on the podcast, “Even though I don’t have this disease, I’ve fallen in love with everyone that we know, our listeners, our friends that have MS”.

She told the podcast co-host on the show Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who was diagnosed with MS, “I’m still your warrior, and I’m still going to speak out on your behalf forever and ever. Despite not having MS. I still feel like part of this community. No matter what, I love you”.

On the latest episode, the actress continued to share the symptoms she faces of her illness

She further mentioned, “I actually timed it today, it took me 10 minutes to be able to move off my pillow and get out of the bed and stand up, at which point I almost couldn’t walk to the bathroom, and now a walker is sitting next to my bed because of what’s going on. I don’t know what’s going on. This is what I’m still living with, and I never had that before. I was able to sit up and stuff”.

“This may come as great news, but to me, I’m back at square one. It’s hard to say that (my doctor) came into my room and she said, ‘Congratulations, you don’t have MS’. You don’t get misdiagnosed and then all of the sudden I’m better. I haven’t gotten better. If anything, I’ve gotten worse in some ways”, she added.

He said that their whirlwind engagement lacked the grand gesture he now believes she deserved.

The actor appeared on the latest episode of the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, where he shared the couch with his ‘Nobody Wants This’ co-stars Kristen Bell, 46, Justine Lupe, 37, and Timothy Simons, 48.

The conversation turned to marriage proposals as the cast promoted the third season of their Netflix romantic comedy, prompting Adam to reflect on his own engagement more than a decade earlier. Adam said, “I’ll spare the details. However, rest assured, it was not as romantic as it should have been”.

He further mentioned, “The only thing romantic about it was the speed. Meaning, like, I proposed pretty quickly into our relationship. We got married fast, but other than that, it was very pedestrian”.

Adam and Leighton first became publicly linked in February 2013, with news of their engagement emerging that November. The couple married privately in Northern California in early 2014.

Adam acknowledged his understated proposal approach had left him with some regrets, as he said, “I’ve learned, the thing is, you know, at the time, you’re like, whatever, but you’re going to tell that story the rest of your life. So my advice: Do it not even just for the moment, but for the story that you’re going to tell forever”.

The podcast discussion prompted Timothy to suggest Adam's practical personality might explain his approach to proposing.

Timothy said, “I can see that from you being like, ‘Yeah, we love each other. Let’s just get married. Why are we going to do all this bulls***?’ You what I mean? Like, ‘Let’s just do it. Let’s just f****** do the thing’”.

Adam said, “There’s that. And yet, and yet, I do kick myself a little. She deserved a little more”.

Barrymore added: “Halloween is like, oh no, you can come from whatever background and just be the freak you are. And you don't have to get someone something, you don't have to show up and be like, this is what I have to get. I will say I do love a mask.”

“Darth Vader was my first crush and anybody can be anonymous in a mask. And so that's kind of pleasant. That's what I've done. I've just gone to like the local, you know, pharmacy and picked out like a mask. And then I kind of start to build an outfit around that.”

The upcoming Hindi action-thriller film King, directed by Siddharth Anand. It is reported to be an adaptation of the 1994 French crime film Léon: The Professional. The film also stars SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan. The primary antagonist is a dark and violent villain played by Abhishek Bachchan.

This will be the first time Shah Rukh will be seen sharing screen space with his daughter Suhana.

Sharing the story behind the video on Instagram, Kesha, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, shared that she and her friends stayed up all night, did their own glam and filmed it themselves.

Sharing a look on the photo-sharing and reel making application, Kesha wrote: “In 2009, I knew I wanted “Backstabber” to be a single, so I took it upon myself to make this video to convince everyone that it deserved its moment. My friends and I stayed up all night, did our own glam, and shot this video!! Everyone in it is one of my best friends.

She described the project as an authentic reflection of that phase of her life, before her career took off and she went from hanging out at the Drunk Tank to touring the world a year later.

“We ran around Echo Park and Silver Lake together and just loved making art. It was so authentic to that moment in my life, before everything changed. Little did I know I’d go from hanging out nightly at the Drunk Tank to touring the whole world a year later. We shot this in downtown LA near the bar where I worked part-time.”

The actress said that it was her “first music video”.

“It was my first music video, and I just knew I needed it to work. Finally… in 2026… it’s OUT! This video will always have a special place in my heart… And thanks to those backstabbers I appreciate the inspo.”
