Los Angeles, June 14 (SocialNews.XYZ) Hollywood actress Anna Faris has shared how she coped up after her split from her husband Chris Pratt. The couple finalised their divorce in 2018.

The actress shared that her podcast was a lifeline after her divorce, reports ‘Female First UK’.

The 49-year-old actress said the breakup with the 46-year-old actor after eight years of marriage made her want to live a life free of public judgment.

She told ‘Variety’, "I was feeling sad. I do feel like I had enough gumption, enough of a core, and I have tried to be careful about how much Hollywood infiltrates, but now I’ve been on a spectrum of fame for 26 years, so I would be naïve to think that it hasn’t shaped who I am at this point. But, f***. The scrutiny”.

The actress, who has a 13-year-old son named Jack with Chris, found comfort in building a "secret community" with her podcast, ‘Anna Faris Is Unqualified’.

She went on, "I’m lucky that at that time I had my podcast. That goes back to the talk radio. I wanted, like, four people to listen and to build my own secret community. I wanted an avenue outside of Hollywood as a way to connect with people”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, Anna launched the podcast in 2015, and while she "didn’t disclose a lot" on it, the Just Friends star said she felt she could "if I needed to".

Anna said, "I used to do this thing on ski lifts where, if I was on a ski lift with a stranger, I’d say, 'Do you want to have a really intense 10-minute conversation with me? And you can answer any question you want to’. And I’d ask them questions like, 'When was the first time you fell in love?' I’ve had a constant desire to connect with people. I didn’t disclose a lot on the podcast, but I always felt like I could if I needed to”.

The ‘Hot Chick’ star said making episodes of her podcast "helped me a lot" during the time of heartbreak.

"And it made me think: I know I could be happy if I’m writing, because I’ve always loved that, and maybe that’s an avenue to make money. I was thinking of a version of retirement. But now, I feel like the opportunities are more bountiful than they’ve ever been. I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude. When people see me, they usually smile and say, 'Oh, I love The House Bunny!' Or, 'Oh, I love Scary Movie!' Or, 'Mom’ helped me through that hard time’”, she added.

The actress and Chris, who split in 2017, with their divorce finalised the following year, remain on good terms.

She told ‘People’, "I miss Ed O'Neill so much”. I mean, I miss everyone, but ... most of my scenes were always with Ed O'Neill. I spent the most of the 11 years with him. I miss him so much. He was such a great friend, such a great pillar for me, because I had never really ... That was like my first really acting job”.

The actor played her on-screen husband. She went on, "So to have someone like Ed O'Neill guiding you and helping you through a show like ‘Modern Family’ was a dream. I couldn't have done it without him and I miss him. It's been already 6 years that we stopped, but I miss everybody. I wish that we could all come to ... We see each other but not as much as we should”.

As per ‘People’, the actress previously shared a birthday tribute for the actor on April 12. “Feliz cumpleanos to my favorite husband. I miss u Ed O'Neil”, Vergara captioned a throwback photo of them together on Instagram.

She also revealed that the Modern Family cast still keep in touch via their group chat, even if O'Neill, 80, answers late while trying to keep up with the messages.

"Yes, we do. We do and we use it a lot. It's very confusing. Ed answers like five days later about something, and then we have no clue what he's answering about. So it's pretty cool”, she added.

Sofia Vergara previously reunited the cast in 2023, including O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez, Nolan Gould and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, as well as the showrunners Chris Lloyd and Steve Levitan.

He recently revealed he struggled to cope after finishing up his series of live shows for Love On Tour, reports ‘Female First UK’.

Speaking on the Q With Tom Power podcast, Harry said, “I was supposed to spend New Year’s with friends and I landed in Italy and felt really unwell, so I just went home. And I woke up and I had this kind of beautiful New Year’s by myself. I was feeling the most alone I’d felt in a really long time, but in the most beautiful way. I didn’t feel lonely at all. “I was just feeling myself kind of shut out from a lot of the world”.

He further mentioned, “I think I got used to saying no to invites from friends and maybe a weekend trip or a birthday party or something. I just got used to, you know, if I have a week at home, I don’t want to go somewhere else for three days. I just want to stay home. And when I got to Italy and was in this quiet place, I felt like, ‘OK, if I’m going to spend all this time out here and I’m going to keep saying no to everything, I’m just going to shut myself off from the world’”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, Harry, who released his latest album, ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally’, in March, also shared he has struggled to live up to his fans’ adoring perception of him in the past.

He said, “I had this relationship with my own image where people had this projected version of me that was perfect. And when the standard you hold yourself to is this perfect person, it’s impossible not to feel like you’re falling short. If you don’t feel great about yourself and someone says you’re terrible, it’s like the claw is in and it’s ripping you. But if you have a more solid sense of yourself, you can hear those things and it doesn’t destroy you in the same way”.

“You can sit at home and think it’s hard for me to do these things when people are looking at me, taking pictures. But when you shut out those things that might be negative, you also shut out a ton of positive things. If you think it’s hard to go to a bar and hang out with friends because people might act a certain way, there are also incredible people you could meet in that bar that you’re shutting out”, he added.

Harry, who is reportedly engaged to actress Zoe Kravitz, believes time out of the spotlight has been good for him.

The actor ultimately went to Michael Jackson's plastic surgeon to get it fixed, reports ‘People’ magazine.

The actor, 62, shared the details during an appearance on the June 10 episode of ‘The Really Good Podcast’, hosted by Bobbi Althoff. During the conversation, the actor said that while he has never had a facelift, and doesn't currently have any plans to, he has gotten Botox and also underwent two nose jobs in the ‘80s.

He said, “I broke it when I was a kid. I got hit with a golf club. There was a little scar here. And I was on General Hospital, and I just didn't like the way it looked, and so I got it done, and it didn't look great. And then I went and I actually had it fixed by Michael Jackson's guy”.

As per ‘People’, MJ, who died in 2009 at age 50, had admitted to having two cosmetic procedures done on his nose, along with several other plastic surgeries. Stamos previously opened up about his botched nose job in his 2023 memoir, ‘If You Would Have Told Me’. Growing up, the actor revealed he was nicknamed "Big Nose Stamos" by the kids who picked on him in school. He decided to schedule a nose job while on a hiatus from his breakout role on General Hospital.

"Everyone who gets a nose job tries to find some excuse other than vanity, but let's call it what it was, vanity”, he shared. However, Stamos ultimately wasn't satisfied with the outcome.

I wish I could say I’d started to date slowly … but the truth is just a week after my split, I found myself in Brooklyn, a shell-shocked and sleepless version of myself. ‘I just need a distraction’, I’d said, tasking my friends, who had giddily gotten to work by texting every unattached and (relatively) un-embarrassing man they knew”.

One friend set her up with a DJ, who was in the “lowest stakes” because he lived locally, had been sober for over 10 years and was a “friend of a friend of a friend”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, despite clarifying that she hadn’t gone any further than a friendship with the DJ, Emily said the experience helped kickstart the next, freeing, stage of her life.

She shared, “The character I’d learned to embody after my divorce, in my period of compulsively dating, was a villain, Poison Ivy. Catwoman. Sexual but scary, and she drank gin martinis. Many, many gin martinis. She was not tragic. Nothing close to a victim. No-one needed to feel sorry for her. In fact, they should all be jealous”.

Emily said it was her “villain origin story”, as she explained that she had “learned the hard way that being alone was better than most partnerships”.

“I’d seen too much, discovered what many women do only when they get divorced in their mid-40s. I’d lived through the failure of a unit, yet I was barely into my 30s. Being a New Yorker made being a single mom feel sexier and bohemian, or at least that’s what I told myself”, she added.

She said, “I think that I’m hyper-aware of the fact that I’m going to die one day. The other day, I was walking past this woman, she was very old and she was walking so slow. The fact that I can just walk up a flight of stairs with no problem is amazing. Someday I might not be able to”.

But Zoe wants to work on "elevating" herself so she doesn't struggle too much with changing perceptions of her as a woman as she gets older.

She said, “As women, so much of our value is about the way that we look. There is this complex relationship between being annoyed at the construction guys who are whistling at you. And I’ve talked to a lot of women about when that stops and what that feels like. There’s a version where it feels liberating and a version where you feel invisible”.

The actor attended the Taormina Film Festival, and was asked about a “certain attitude” he showed about the 2024 sequel to his 2000 Oscar-winning epic, reports ‘Variety’.

The actor dodged speaking directly about ‘Gladiator II’ but he elaborated on his moral stance regarding the original film.

He said, “When we were shooting that film, there was a lot of pressure. The studio, the producers (thought) there should be sex between Maximus and the female characters. I kept pushing back”.

He further mentioned, “This is the story of a man avenging the death of his wife and his child. There cannot be a moment in that journey where he stops and has sex with somebody. It doesn’t make any sense because that destroys the journey”.

The actor said he “stuck to his guns”, as he said, “Luckily for me, Ridley, even though he’d love a sex scene between me and Connie Nielsen, agreed with me back then that that was the emotional core of the film. The studio at the time didn’t quite understand why. That’s the thing a lot of people don’t realize, from the second week of release globally, there were always more women in the theaters than men. You think that on the surface ‘Gladiator’ is a movie for men, but if it was a movie for men, it would be about revenge, but it’s not about revenge. It is a movie for women because it is about vengeance”.

As per ‘Variety’, the actor then shared that ‘Gladiator II’ “failed” because it lacked that moral core.

“For them, in a second movie to destroy that moral centre. It’s very interesting because the second movie barely took the same box office that the first movie took. That’s 20 years later. When you apply how much of a change there’s been on the value of a dollar, they failed. They failed because they didn’t understand why it was successful, it had a moral core”, he added.

While the shoot, like the film, was emotionally intense, Danes, at 17, tried to lighten the mood by playing with an onset firearm just before shooting her death scene. Juliet, finding Romeo dead by self-inflicted poison, sobs and shoots herself in the head, reports ‘Variety’.

The actress recently spoke with Richard Gadd for Actors on Actors conversation. She said, “I remember just blithely playing with the prop gun and putting it to my head, and Leo getting very serious and saying, ‘Claire, we don’t do that. Don’t eff around’. He was right, but I was just being a doofus and a girl”.

As per ‘Variety’, safety with prop firearms has received new attention in the years since the tragic onset shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021 on the set of the film ‘Rust’.

And Leo, who’s worked with guns in films like ‘The Revenant’ and ‘The Departed’, was already aware of taking special caution even in his Romeo days. Leo, 21 during the shoot, was already a seasoned pro, having received an Oscar nomination for ‘What’s Eating Gilbert Grape’, but Danes was no slouch, having led the ABC drama ‘My So-Called Life’ and earned an Emmy nomination.

The emotional intensity of the shoot was perhaps new for her, though, and it brought something out of Danes, Gadd told her that he’d written a school essay on her “guttural sob” she lets out upon finding Romeo’s body.

“I remember that moment very distinctly. I was surprised by it. And the environment was so epic that Baz (Luhrmann) had created. I was moved by the mise en scène, in a way, and the tragedy, but the world he created helped elicit that feeling”, she added.

The actor told IANS,” I have always been a big fan and admirer of people who would like to break free from all kinds of shackles of circumstances to fulfil their dreams. I’m one of them. And I had tremendous affinity as a fellow human for those who come from a very underprivileged background, and who'd like to be a rebel and defy all kinds of norms and hurdles of society and economical conditions and all that. I immediately was drawn to the storyline. The storyline was also very interesting because of the fact that it is set in India, then this boy goes to, you know, Qatar to meet Messi”.

He further mentioned, “And the innocence of this boy, who thought, ‘I would like to meet Lionel Messi’ because his elder brother, in the film, was a big fan of Messi”.

“And that is a good enough storyline for me. And the role was of the father who had fulfilled his own dream being a dancer, which is not a very easy thing to do. In those days, in a society in Kerala, who had been a Bharatanatyam dancer, as a man, a Bharatanatyam dancer, there are challenges there. So he's also had been a rebel. But because of a tragedy, he decided to stifle the dream of his son. And that contradiction I have grown up with”, he added.

London Indian Film Festival is set to be held from July 9 to July 19, 2026.

She continued, “I'm obviously still learning what that looks like in practice, but during these early stages of motherhood, specifically with raising a daughter, I've realized that how I see myself is how she'll see herself. It's that simple.”

Steinfeld and the Buffalo Bills quarterback shared news of their daughter's arrival in a Substack post titled "Special Delivery.”

“Our baby girl has arrived!!” Steinfeld wrote in the newsletter at the time.

“We're feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”

The couple first shared that they were expecting their first child in December.

In a newsletter published in honor of her 29th birthday, Steinfeld included a video as the final entry in a roundup of her 29 favorite moments from the previous year. The clip showed the actress posing in the snow while cradling her baby bump as Allen kissed her stomach.

The pair later shared the video in a joint Instagram post, where Allen commented, “I love you.”

Earlier this year, Allen spoke about his excitement about becoming a father during a January press conference.

“It's something that I will take with great pride. And we're going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else,” he said.

“But this is the most important thing I'll ever be in my life, being a dad," he added.

"And I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I'm looking forward to this one.”

Steinfeld previously shared her own thoughts on the transition to parenthood in late February.

In a Beau Society blog post titled “Getting ducks in a row,” she reflected on preparing to welcome her child into the world and the emotions that came with that milestone.

“While tuning in, I've experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways," she wrote.

"We're getting ready to meet someone we already love so much. I've racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don't have them yet. Maybe that's the point. For now, I'm blessed to be settling into the feeling," she continued.

Steinfeld and Allen were first romantically linked in the spring of 2023 and married in Santa Barbara, California, on May 31, 2025.

Cruise will be seen sharing screenspace with names such as Sandra Hüller, John Goodman, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, Sophie Wilde, Riz Ahmed and Emma D’Arcy.

“I think they have enough categories. The truth is, a voice actor can win Best Actor. The judgment is, ‘any performance that moved you’,” Hanks told Gold Derby.

Hanks used Andy Serkis as an example, given his performances in the Lord of the Rings and Planet of the Apes franchises, reports deadline.com.

“Even though he does not appear as Andy Serkis, he gives all the raw material for it. There’s been people who have been close to being nominated that do not appear on camera. That could happen to a pure-vocal actor,” added Hanks.

Hanks’ comments come as he reprises his voice performance as Woody in Toy Story 5, premiering June 19 in theaters, more than 30 years after the first Toy Story premiered in 1995.

Since the first Academy Awards were held in 1929, no voice actor has ever won in the acting categories, although the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences added the Best Animated Feature category to 2002’s ceremony.

Meanwhile, the Best Animated Short Film category goes back to 1932, previously referred to as Short Subjects, Cartoons and Short Subjects, Animated Films.

Talking about Toy Story, it began in 1995 with the release of the animated feature film of the same name. The film revolves around a diverse group of toys featuring a classic cowboy doll named Sheriff Woody and a modern spaceman action figure named Buzz Lightyear.

RGV on Friday morning took to X, formerly called Twitter, talked about the true power of cinema and said it lies in the psychological precision and emotional rawness rather than massive budgets.

He wrote: “OBSESSION is how we SHOOT and CUT and not WHAT. OBSESSION made on a budget lesser than maybe the cost of a film stars entourage , will hopefully dismantle our complacency.”

RGV shared that Obsession, which was made on a budget of 75000 dollrars, proves that filmmakers should focus on making "better films, not bigger films.”

He added: “Forgetting the reported 750 k dollar budget , a film shot entirely in just 2 rooms, interior of a car and a small store with 5 new actors couldn’t have costed more than 70 lakh rupees (Forgetting fee of various) . On that cost , it grossed over $238 million dollars that is Rs 2,279 crores ..It reportedly will do more than 100 cr in india (sic).”

RGV said that filmmaker Curry Barker‘s direction seems “deceptively simplistic, but it is highly weaponized.”

“He shoots in confined spaces not to avoid scale but to trap the audience in the characters’ perspectives. Editing is not mere assembly but a rhythmic psychological assault... rapid cuts punctuated by sharp sound design (door slams, sudden laughs, heartbeats, voice tone alterations) alternate with agonizingly long holds , most memorably the interval shot lingering on Nikki’s face(My most favourite shot).”

The filmmaker said that these “never-before-experienced techniques” has built an unbearable tension by denying escape, “forcing us viewers to feel the horror rather than observe it from afar.”

The filmmaker said that “Obsession” “externalizes internal rot making the personal public and the psychological visceral. Its gore and emotional messiness turns pulp into something disturbingly resonant about loneliness and desire.”

Talking about the “important lessons” learnt from the Hollywood film for any and all related to “films In our times of franchise fatigue and VFX bloat is that it proves that only rigorous directorial vision to arrest the viewer, cutting edge editing as a storytelling tool, and sound design for emotional punctuation and expressions of actors making one feel can generate much more impact than CGI ARMIES, MASSIVE SETS ,EXOTIC LOCATIONS and 500 CRORE budgets.”

Revealing what Barker taught with his latest release is “that we film makers should OBSESS over how we shoot and cut, and not just WHAT we shoot?”

“After the example of Obsession Producers and directors should treat low budgets as liberation, not limitation and focus their resources on performances, path breaking editing, and creative sound design , not to forget visionary makers The ROI here will seem obscene and vulgar to the producers who wasted 100’s of crores and shot their films for years.”

Calling the film a “wake up call” in teaching, he said cinema’s power lies in psychological precision and emotional rawness, and not industrial excess.

“For our industry OBSESSED with risk aversion chasing stars, making remakes and bloated spectacles, this film is a SLAP ON THE FACE.”

The filmmaker added: “The greatest thing Curry Barker did more than making a BLOCKBUSTER , is that he taught us that our OBSESSION should be about making BETTER FILMS and not BIGGER FILMS.”

Obsession follows Bear, played by Michael Johnston, a music store employee who buys a supernatural toy that grants his wish for his friend Nikki, essayed by Inde Navarrette, to fall in love with him, resulting in horrifying consequences.

“When I was 18, I left a bar and I'd had a beer,” Reynolds shared in a GQ video with Welcome to Wrexham costar Rob Mac.

The actor recalled thinking that "even if it's four blocks home, absolutely not" would he drive home after drinking. Despite that “firmly positive and wise decision,” the star was still struck by a drunk driver while walking home, reports people.com.

"I spent four weeks in the hospital," Reynolds recalled.

“What? That's the first time I've heard that," Mac said with surprise.

Reynolds said: "Oh, yeah, broke every bone in my left side. He hit me so hard, his car was not operational."

Reynolds thanked the doctor at the Canadian hospital where he was treated "for putting me back together so kindly."

The actor had previously discussed the accident in a 2011 interview with CTV News. Despite the injuries, Reynolds has taken on physically demanding roles, most notably in the Deadpool movies.

In 2022, he opened up about performing fewer stunts as he ages.

"I think it's important to do as much of [the stunt work] yourself as you can, but I'll step aside when there's something that's just too gnarly and there's a trained professional ready to go," Reynolds told Variety at the time.

The actor went on to joke, "You're not allowed to eat Advil like cereal."

"Things start to hurt," Reynolds told Variety. "After I turned 35, being thrown onto cement wasn't hilarious anymore. It had been upgraded to hell."

Reynolds' next movie, Mayday, opens on September 4. He also plays Deadpool again in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to open on December 18.

She kind of held my hand. Here’s some big, tough guy who thinks he’s indestructible. … None of us are perfect.

"We’re all flawed. If you can be vulnerable, there’s beauty in that. … This is the new chapter: my hair transplant, me being an advocate for sunscreen because I was an idiot and didn’t put on sunscreen. I’ve had to go through some pretty tough phone calls and pretty tough procedures with that."

Cena is a "strong advocate" for hair transplants and embraces various other ways to look after his locks, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

He said: "I feel great and again, not perfect, but I’m taking steps at a time. My first transplant was a minimal procedure. I had a huge spot in the back, and they covered it up, but I didn’t exhaust my donor sites.”

“Now I’m talking inside baseball, but this is all knowledge I got by talking to a professional. Imagine what can happen! That’s why I’m such a strong advocate. I see (a doctor) every six weeks. I get PRP treatment. I do red-light therapy, vitamins, finasteride topical, exosome topical — I’m all in."

The Barbie star revealed last year he had been diagnosed with skin cancer twice and he's said that the health scares made him realise he wasn't "bulletproof".

He said: "I thought I was young and bulletproof. That’s not true. And man, you hear from your friends or guardians as a young person, 'Put on sunscreen!' You don’t think it’s going to affect you — it’s real and it can affect you."

The actor recently discovered he needs glasses.

He said: "I got these nice vintage opera glasses. … I love to read, and I started reading pages of books three times over again. I was like, I gotta get help, and when I did, I discovered there wasn’t just one problem. I realised that I’m not as young as I used to be, and I had an entirely new disease I knew nothing about."

Los Angeles, June 12 (SocialNews.XYZ) Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence is set to deliver in front of the camera once again. The actress will be next seen in the romantic comedy ‘One Month Mark’.

The Oscar-winning actress will star in the film based on a spec script by writer, director, and performer Sophie Fleur de Bruijn, reports ‘Variety’.

The logline reads, “She has never made it past a month in a relationship. He has never gone longer than a month without one”.

The film is set to be produced by Apple Studios, Chernin Entertainment’s David Ready, Brady Fujikawa and Peter Chernin will serve as producers.

As per ‘Variety’, in addition to starring in the film, Jennifer Lawrence and her producing partner Justine Ciarrocchi will produce for Excellent Cadaver. De Bruijn will executive produce.

The project is Lawrence’s fourth Apple Original Film following ‘What Happens at Night’, directed by Martin Scorsese and also starring Leonardo DiCaprio, which just wrapped filming. Lawrence also served as star and producer of ‘Causeway’, and producer on the Peabody-winning documentary, ‘Bread & Roses’.

The project also marks de Bruijn’s second collaboration with Apple following ‘Early Action’, her first feature, which Apple Original Films scored the rights to last year. That film is currently in development with Kevin Walsh and The Walsh Company set to produce under their first-look deal with Apple.

Earlier, the actress has explained why she prefers filming intimate scenes with strangers, rather than friends or long-time colleagues.

During an appearance at 92NY, the actress said, "It was actually easier that way because Rob and I did not know each other, which is kind of better, you know? Like in ‘Hunger Games’, like me and Josh Hutcherson would have to kiss and that's like …Imagine it”.

“You know, it's weirder and so yeah, doing it with a stranger is preferable”, she added.

She said, “Well, first of all, my son’s mean as hell. He’s not nice. I left that part out. The other day I came back from Pilates. I come in the house and my son said, ‘Mummy, you stink'. Excuse me?”

While Keke split from Leo’s father, fitness instructor Darius Jackson, in October 2023, she said she’s got a “village” of people she can turn to for help as and when she needs it.

She shared, “Me and my sisters live together. And then my mom is always there, and I also have supportive nannies. The village is large. I don’t know what I would be able to do without all the help that I have".

She’s currently single, and told the magazine her thoughts about dating someone else in showbusiness have changed over the years.

“When I was younger especially, I used to always be like, ‘I don’t want anybody in this business'. Because you see a lot. It’s a lot of crazies up over here. But I realise there’s crazies everywhere. The 79-year-old award-winning director shared that he was turned down on more than one occasion when he reached out to film producer Albert Romolo Broccoli, whom he called by his nickname "Cubby," at the start of his career while appearing on the episode of The Rest Is Entertainment, reports people.com.

“I have regrets (that) they didn’t approach me to do a Bond film,” Spielberg said in response to a fan question during the conversation.

“I approached Cubby Broccoli after Jaws was a big hit. I’d always wanted to make a James Bond film from the day I saw Dr. No. So I called Cubby after Jaws and volunteered. I said, ‘If you need a director, I would love to direct one.’ And he said, ‘No,’ and he moved on.”

Spielberg said he crossed paths with the late producer once again after his 1977 sci-fi thriller Close Encounters of the Third Kind came out because it was a “big hit” and Broccoli wanted to sample the famed five-note sequence that appears in the film as a way to facilitate communication between humans and aliens.

“And Cubby called me a few years after Close Encounters and said, ‘We’d like to use the five notes in Moonraker,' ” he added.

For Spielberg, it was the perfect way to get in on the James Bond action.

“I said, ‘I’ll make you a deal. I’ll give you permission to use the five notes if you let me direct a Bond film.’ And he said, ‘No.’ But I gave him the five notes anyway,” Spielberg said. “So they consistently turned me down. He never explained why he wasn’t letting me into the Bond family.”

The Jurassic Park director said he told George Lucas about his experience with Broccoli, which led to the Star Wars filmmaker, 82, making way for Spielberg’s involvement with the Indiana Jones franchise.

“That’s when George said, ‘I have something better than Bond,' ” Spielberg said of the conversation, adding that the project was originally called Indiana Smith.

“So if they ever asked me to make a Bond film now, my answer would be: ‘You can’t afford me,’” he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Spielberg received another fan question asking if he ever experienced moments of “jealousy” toward Lucas or Francis Ford Coppola in the pre-Jaws 1970s.

The director said the thought “never” crossed his mind.

“Francis was our Godfather. We looked up to Francis, he was our leader throughout the ‘70s,” Spielberg said of The Outsiders director, 87, adding that he considers The Godfather to be “the greatest American film ever made.”

He added that he and Lucas “were best friends from the day we met.”

I think that she had a bad example with her dad. She didn’t grow up with an idea of what a healthy relationship looks like or what a healthy version of love is. Then, throughout high school, she gets treated terribly by boys, she’s just a piece of meat and a token”.

“She learns that all they want from her is her body, so that sets up an element of her not respecting herself and not looking for the right things in guys, because they’re not looking for the right things in her”, the actress added.

As per ‘Variety’, she still thinks about what else Cassie might get up to. Over the course of eight episodes, Cassie, whom we’d last seen as a painfully insecure high-schooler, experienced endless milestones of grown-up life, getting married to boyfriend Nate (played by Jacob Elordi), facing down her household’s bankruptcy and working as an OnlyFans model to pay the bills (and Nate’s debts).

Throughout, the show’s trademark surreality and sense of play allowed the actress to act out massive emotional swings and to edge into the absurd, as in a sequence where Cassie strides through Los Angeles, towering over buildings and dominating the men below.

Cassie has been a calling-card role for Sweeney, who had never played a part this meaty when the show launched in 2019. The actress has shared that she would "love" to return to the film’s universe. The 50-year-old actress played Elle in the 2001 comedy movie Legally Blonde, and its 2003 sequel, and Reese has now revealed that she's keen to reprise her iconic character for a prequel film, reports ‘Female First UK’.

The actress told Extra, "I would love to do it again. It's like it's my superhero. So, it's like my Marvel character. I would love to play her again. It just has to be perfect”.

Reese likened the prospect of reprising the character to Tom Cruise rekindling the role of Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell in 2022's Top Gun: Maverick.

She said, "Like, Tom Cruise did it right. He only came out with Top Gun when it was absolutely right. And I was like, he nailed it or like Adam Sandler brought back Happy Gilmore. So, we're gonna get there. We're gonna do it”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, Reese has enjoyed huge success working with Jennifer Aniston on The Morning Show, the hit Apple TV series, in recent years. And Jennifer is keen to continue working with her showbiz pal.

The 57-year-old actress said, "It's my dream. I love her more than life and I hope we get to do it until we're way into our 90s, doing different things”.

The actress previously admitted that she spent her first two decades in Hollywood struggling to find work. However, at the age of 34, the actress started her Hello Sunshine production company, even though she wasn't entirely sure of herself, and it's changed the course of her career.

The Oscar-winning star told The Hollywood Reporter, "I didn’t have time to look at the bigger macro, like, what is our business? How are they making money? Wait, why are there no parts for women? Wait, why am I not seeing any people of colour behind the scenes? Like, why am I not seeing any writers who are bringing a different perspective? And that’s what made me think. When I was 34, I had enough foundation under myself, inside our business; I also had enough money to help start funding, and I was like, I’m not going to take money from people who don’t want the change that I want to see”.

Despite this, Reese didn't have any regrets about her decision.

She said, "It was scary because I didn’t know if I was going to get my money back. Every day I woke up thinking, ‘Oh my god, I’m not gonna get my money back’. But I would rather bet on myself and lose that money trying hard. I woke up every single day and I was like, ‘I am my own lottery ticket’”.

Los Angeles, June 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actress Sydney Sweeney, who has starred as Cassie Howard on the drama since the debut of the show “Euphoria” in 2019, is finally setting the record straight on years of speculation surrounding the show's lengthy delay.

The actress addressed rumours that cast schedules or behind-the-scenes drama contributed to the gap between seasons in a new interview with Vanity Fair, reports people.com.

“Well, I mean, we all grew up together on this show, so it’s honestly crazy to watch how much social media and the press spin things,” said Sweeney.

The actress’ comments come after years of speculation about what caused the delay between Euphoria’s second and third seasons. Production on season 3 was originally expected to begin in 2024 but was pushed back amid the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, as well as reported script development delays.

The actress said she found it amusing to watch assumptions circulate that cast schedules were responsible for holding up the show.

“I was in first position to HBO,” she explained.

“So the moment they say, ‘Hey, this is the first day of filming,’ I’m legally not allowed to do anything else. So my schedule doesn’t affect the show.”

Sweeney added that the same was true for the rest of the cast.

“All of us were in first position, so it wasn’t like any of our schedules were holding it up.”

Since Euphoria premiered, many of its young stars have become some of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors.

Her acclaimed performance as Cassie Howard helped launch her career to new heights, leading to roles in The White Lotus and major film projects, like The Housemaid and Anyone but You.

Sweeney also spoke about her longtime collaboration with creator Sam Levinson and shared that he began discussing Cassie’s future years before season 3 cameras rolled.

As season 2 was wrapping, Levinson would call her and pitch ideas for where the character’s story might go next.

“So I knew years before we started filming season three that I would be married to Nate, we’d be living in a suburban neighborhood, and Cassie would be crazier than ever,” Sweeney said.

Though she knew the broad outline of Cassie’s future, she didn’t learn the specifics until she received the scripts.

Season 3 sees Cassie gain notoriety as an OnlyFans creator, a development Sweeney said made sense for the character, given her long-running need for validation.

“From the very beginning, you can see that Cassie has this need to be loved. She has a need to be validated by other people. She doesn’t know how to love herself unless someone else loves her,” Sweeney said.

“I think she was more excited by the idea of all these people loving her and knowing who she is and feeling like her world isn’t small.”

The actress also discussed conversations she had with Levinson about the nudity required for the storyline, emphasizing the distinction between herself and the character she portrays.

“Do I agree with all of Cassie’s decisions? Would I personally make these choices? No, of course not,” she said.

“But I’m an actor and that’s my job and this is Cassie’s life and to be able to do her justice and play her how she’s to be played is to bring Sam’s vision to life and to play Cassie in the most vulnerable and insane way possible.”

Looking back on the series as a whole, Sweeney acknowledged that saying goodbye to Cassie was bittersweet.

“Every season, like Sam says, he’s always shot it like it’s the last,” she said. “And I think we’ve all approached it in the same mentality. So I’ve always said goodbye to Cassie on the last day, as bittersweet as it is, because she’s such a challenging role and she stretches me as an actor.”

“It was top secret,” Hanks said at the Los Angeles premiere of “Toy Story 5”, reports variety.com.

Hanks added: “We did not know until, literally, when the moment came. They ushered us into a soundproof room and said, ‘Tonight at 9 p.m., the true end titles song is going to drop, and it’s by Taylor Swift.’”

“And I was like, ‘You guys kept this from us all?’ And we saw the movie without (the song), we had some dummy thing in there.”

The actor shared that it was a “delight” to have a global superstar like Swift involved with the film.

Hanks said, “That’s like saying, ‘By the way, Judy Garland is singing “Over the Rainbow” at the beginning of this.’ That kind of thing.”

Although Disney dropped plenty of hints at Swift’s involvement in “Toy Story 5,” her track, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” wasn’t officially unveiled until June 1.

“Toy Story 5” sees Woody, Jessie and Buzz face off against a new technological threat to their precious playtime with their kid, Bonnie.

Joan Cusack and Tim Allen return to the voice cast along with Hanks. New cast members include Greta Lee, Keanu Reeves, Craig Robinson, Alan Cumming, Conan O’Brien and Bad Bunny.

At the beginning of “Toy Story 5,” Woody is away from his pals while saving toys that were discarded by their owners. The wear and tear of his adventures left him with a bald spot under his cowboy hat.

Hanks said when he learned Woody was going bald, it felt like a natural part of the toy’s life cycle.

“That hat goes on, that hat goes on, that hat goes on and off,” Hanks said. “It’s a hard rubber hat, and eventually… hey, man, a little of the right color Sharpie will make that bald spot go away.”

“And the stuffing seems to need to be pushed up every now and again, but it is an organic material in there. It’s physics, man, it’s physics.”

In documents obtained by people.com, the 21-year-old filed a petition for a change of name in the Superior Court of California.

Zahara’s filing dates back to April 28 and came just days after her brother, 24-year-old Maddox Jolie, also filed to legally remove his father’s last name following their parents’ split in 2016 after two years of marriage and over 10 years as a couple. Their divorce was finalized in December 2024.

Jolie and Pitt have six children together, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Zahara is now the former couple’s third child to file to legally drop “Pitt” from their last name after Maddox and Shiloh.

"It's sad to see someone repeatedly publicize their successful alienation of their children from the other parent," says a source close to Pitt.

Zahara hinted at a possible name change on more than one occasion, most recently when she walked the stage during her college graduation in Atlanta on May 17.

Her name was listed in the commencement program as “Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt,” however, her name was read as "Zahara Marley Jolie" when she went up to get her diploma for her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

In an August 2024 video, Zahara introduced herself while becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

“My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. And landed all the way from the Golden State in the city full of angels: Los Angeles, California,” she said in the clip.

Months earlier, the May 2024 Playbill for The Outsiders, the Broadway musical Vivienne helped her mom produce, credited Vivienne as Vivienne Jolie, instead of Vivienne Jolie-Pitt. It was not made clear at the time if Vivienne had legally changed her name.

Additionally, Maddox recently dropped Pitt from his last name in the credits of his mother’s latest movie, Couture. Shiloh was granted a name change in 2024 and goes by Shiloh Jolie.

“If it’s any comfort, I got it in the neck too. I’m a thin-skinned t***, apparently, even though it wasn’t my skin. I was sticking up for the writers who I adored. Obviously I shouldn't have cited Bach/Kahlo/Moore, asking for trouble, and would have done better to go for the 10,000 blues songs written around the same 12 bar chord structure. I've listened to most of them and will keep doing so. Because we love what we love”, he added.

Janet had shared in her original post that she had just started watching the first season of ‘House’.

She wrote, "Same narrative every episode, Patient has mysterious illness. Hugh Laurie (House) gets diagnosis wrong. Patient nearly dies. "Hugh Laurie gets diagnosis wrong again. Hugh caught wind of the tweet, and issued a scathing response including claiming that her critique could apply to "other art forms".

We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren't happy. "Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn't happy”.

“One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure, Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what?? The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn't meant for you. Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel", he added.
