Los Angeles, July 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Hollywood actress Millie Bobby Brown is revealing a glimpse into her fun-filled playtime with her daughter.

After reminiscing about playing during her own childhood, she shared that she and her daughter, whom she and husband Jake Bongiovi welcomed via adoption last year, love to get creative together, reports ‘People’ magazine.

The actress said their play sessions include lots of arts and crafts, as well as puppet shows and dress-up fun.

She told ‘People’, “Dressing up is a big one for me. I loved dressing up as a child. I don’t know if that was me screaming to everyone saying I wanted to be an actor, but for me, I loved dressing up as different princesses and knights and dinosaurs”.

He further mentioned, “I was big on a bunch of costumes. I loved costumes. So we have a very big costume rack in our playroom”.

As per “People’, the actress said she and her daughter, whose name she has not shared publicly, “enjoy any kind of creative environment where we’re able to create our own story”.

The actress also expresses her imagination through artwork, and her pieces always have pride of place at home.

“Anywhere we go, (her artwork) is always up on display because I’m so proud of her creativity”, the Enola Holmes star said, adding that she and Bongiovi, 24, also paint and display their own work.

“It’s not anything special, but it’s special to us. And that’s what makes it a home”, she added.

Asked if her daughter has shown any indications of what her future creative outlet might be, she replied, “No, not yet. I mean, she uses her voice a lot, so I’m very intrigued about that. She’s loud like mama. So I’m always going to encourage her to speak louder”.

The 40-year-old actor relished playing Antinous, the main antagonist in Sir Christopher Nolan's epic ‘The Odyssey’, and also shapeshifting Scytale in Dune: Part Three because he enjoys challenging perceptions, reports ‘Female First UK’.

Asked if he likes exploring his bad side, he told’ People’ magazine, “I do. I like lowering people’s expectations; that’s always my favourite, that’s always my place to be. Undersell and overdeliver, that’s my motto”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, however, he stressed that Antinous, who vies for the affections of Penelope (Anne Hathaway) in the years her husband Oydsseus (Matt Damon) is missing, isn't "really" a bad guy.

He said, “I don’t think he’s really the bad guy. I think he’s just like. It’s a love story, it’s a love story. Penelope is just waiting for Antinous to get older”.

Robert revealed he also likes to find a "quirk" in his characters to help get comfortable and make the roles his own.

He said, "There’s always one little thing that you kind of do every movie, I always find some kind of little quirk. I’m trying to remember what it was on this. I remember doing something which a lot of people thought I was very strange doing, but I can’t remember (what)”.

The British actor is joined in both ‘The Odyssey’ and ‘Dune: Part Three’ by his The Drama co-star Zendaya. But Robert admitted he "didn't even recognise" his friend when she was filming ‘The Odyssey’.

Chennai, July 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actors Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi and producer Boney Kapoor joined scores of people cutting across regions and languages in paying tribute to one of India's greatest singers S Janaki, who passed away in Mysuru on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest.

She was 88.

Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi penned a glorious tribute to singer S Janaki. Taking to his X timeline, he wrote in Telugu, "The news of Janakamma garu's passing has left me deeply shaken."

Stating that in his film career, she had lent her unparalleled voice to countless unforgettable songs, Chiranjeevi pointed out that it was her voice that breathed life into the several emotions that they showcased on screen.

Chiranjeevi recalled that several songs that audiences fondly remembered from his films were in Janaki amma garu's sweet voice. Every time those songs played, he said those days and their memories would come alive once again before his eyes.

Stating that Janaki amma was not just a singer but an extraordinary artist who transformed emotions into melody, Chiranjeevi said that every song she sang was a memory... a feeling... and a lifelong bond.

"Today, we have lost a towering pinnacle in the world of music. But her songs will forever resonate as an inspiration for generations and as the background score to our lives. I extend my deepest condolences to the family members of Smt. S. Janaki garu, her loved ones, and the millions of music lovers who admired her. Janakamma garu... your voice is immortal," he said.

Tamil actor, producer and parliamentarian Kamal Haasan took to his X timeline to pen a condolence message. He wrote in Tamil, " Paadal endrum olithukonde irrukum. Andha Anbai yengae theduven amma?(The song will keep resounding forever. But where will I find the love, mother?). Irakki vaika mudiyaadha sogam palarukkum irrukum. Avarkellam Aazhndha Irangalkal. (There will be many who cannot lay the burdens in their hearts down. Deepest condolences to them all."

Well known producer Boney Kapoor too condoled the demise of the legendary singer.

Taking to his X timeline to share his grief and condolences, Boney Kapoor wrote, "The voice that gave life to countless emotions has fallen silent, but its echo will resonate for generations."

He went on to say, "Deeply saddened by the passing of legendary playback singer S. Janaki Amma—the timeless Nightingale of South India. For over six decades, she touched millions of hearts with a voice that could express joy, love, devotion, longing, and sorrow with unmatched grace. Her songs transcended languages, generations, and borders, becoming an inseparable part of India's musical heritage. India has lost one of its greatest musical treasures."

It must be noted that the project was shot back in 1994, however it was delayed for around a decade. It was finally released in 2004.

'Meri Biwi Ka Jawaab Nahin' is a retelling of the 1992 Telugu film 'Mondi Mogudu Penki Pellam'.

The technical crew of the drama includes S. Gopala Reddy as the cinematographer and Yusuf Sheikh as the editor. The music for the movie has been scored by the celebrated duo Laxmikant and Pyarelal.

'Meri Biwi Ka Jawaab Nahin' happens to be Akshay and Sridevi's only movie together.

Mysuru, July 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Legendary singer and four-time National Award winner S Janaki, who has rendered over a whopping 48,000 songs in several Indian languages, passed away at a private hospital here on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest.

She was 88.

The Apollo BGS Hospitals in Mysuru, where she was admitted on Saturday afternoon, issued a statement soon after her demise.

In its statement, the hospital said, "Mrs. S. Janaki was admitted to Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, on 11 July 2026 at 12:49 PM. On admission, her condition was critical, and she was immediately evaluated and shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for further management."

The hospital informed that despite intensive medical care and continuous monitoring by a multidisciplinary team, the veteran singer suffered a cardiac arrest during the course of treatment.

"Advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was initiated immediately in accordance with standard medical protocols. Despite resuscitative efforts, she experienced multiple cardiac arrests and could not be revived.

Mrs. S. Janaki was declared deceased at 7:30 PM on 11 July 2026."

The iconic singer's granddaughter, Apsara Vydyula, in a post on Instagram shared the news of her grandmother's demise.

She wrote,"Dear everyone, It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved grandmother and legendary singer, Smt. S. Janaki."

Apsara further said, "She left us peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. While our hearts are heavy, we are also filled with gratitude for the extraordinary life she lived and the immeasurable joy she brought to millions through her timeless music."

Pointing out that to the world, her grandmother was an iconic voice whose songs became part of countless memories, Apsara said,"To us, she was a loving grandmother whose warmth, humility, kindness, and grace will remain with us forever."

She ended the note, requesting privacy for the family during this difficult time.

She said, "We kindly request that you respect our family’s privacy during this difficult time as we grieve and come to terms with this loss. Thank you for your love, prayers, and understanding - Apsara Vydyula."

The news of Janaki amma's demise has plunged the Indian film industry in gloom.

S Janaki amma, who began her singing career at the young age of 19 by singing for the Tamil film Vidhiyin Vilayattu, emerged a star in no time. She sang an impressive 100 songs in six Indian languages within her first year of turning a professional singer.

The great singer was known as much for her sweet voice as she was for her versatality. She was probably the only singer who could alter her voice and sing both like a six-year old child or a sixty-year-old person.

Janaki amma, as she was lovingly called by scores of fans across the world, has won a phenomenal number of awards including four National Awards and 33 different state film awards.

In June, an influencer went viral for a TikTok video that showed her humorous reaction to Johnson selling shampoo and conditioner despite famously being bald. The actor responded with a video of himself wearing his long locks for his Moana character Maui, and a fun caption.

“Literally I was like ‘I’m here if you need me’”, Holland said of the special on-set moment. “It was a wild experience for both of us, you know?”.

The actor said he enjoyed being on set with other first-time Nolan collaborators as they experienced working with Academy Award-winning director Christopher Nolan.

“(There were) veterans, that we could be like you know ‘Am I doing a good job? Like I don’t know what’s happening’”, the actor said of working with Nolan. “But it was an amazing experience. And you know, Z feels the same”.

The Odyssey, composed by the Greek poet Homer, was transcribed circa 750-850 BC, according to the BBC. The story follows the arduous journey of Odysseus, King of Ithaca, as he makes his way home following 10 years of warfare.

The ancient epic also includes appearances from various ancient Greek deities, and has been translated into English over 100 times, according to the outlet.

However, it is now revealed that Ariana has been forced to drop out of the show, because of scheduling conflicts with her Eternal Sunshine tour, reports ‘Female First UK’.

Ariana had been set star alongside American Horror veterans including Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe, all of whom have been seen shooting scenes in New York this week.

Deadline was the first to report the news. It would also have been another string to Ariana’s acting bow, which she has been focusing on in recent years.

Earlier, she starred as Glinda in the Wicked movies, Ariana can soon be seen alongside Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller in Focker-in-Law.

And in an interview last year, Ariana said, “I really am enjoying acting right now. Whether it’s movies or being on stage or a little something here and there, I think that’s currently what I’m most inspired by”

“I’ll still sing, I promise. But yes, right now, that’s currently where I’m at”, she added.

As per ‘Female First UK, however, she added that she wants to find a balance between both acting and singing.

Ariana said, “I think I’ve learned that they feed one another. And I think that balance was missing in my life for a long time, and they’ll figure out the dance as we go”.

‘American Horror Story’ wouldn’t have been the first time she’d worked with Ryan Murphy, as she previously featured in his short-lived show Scream Queens.

The singer kicked off her Eternal Sunshine tour in California last month and will conclude her road trek with a 10-night stint at London’s O2 Arena from August 15 to September 1, 2026.

‘The Odyssey’ filmmaker is hopeful for the future of cinema after seeing the likes of Obsession director Curry Barker and Backrooms‘ Kane Parsons reject artificial intelligence in favour of practical effects, and has seen first hand in his own four children that the younger generation are not impressed by all elements of the technology, reports ‘Female First UK’.

He told The Telegraph, "I’ve never seen a more rapid wholesale dismissal of a supposedly foundational jump in technology in my lifetime. So much energy has been expended on bringing in AI, but if you look at that generation’s reaction, they’re utterly rejecting it”.

“Their judgment of AI slop has been immediate and harsh. They see it for what it is very quickly, and it’s much easier for them to identify it, because it grew out of an online world they know really well. And while that doesn’t mean that every aspect of the technology is useless or meaningless, in film-making it’s hitting at exactly the wrong time. "After years of driving towards heavily virtual environments, we’re seeing a renewed interest in more tactile, more real forms of storytelling”, he added.

As per ‘Female First UK’, the filmmaker is excited about the future of film with the rise of a new generation of directors.

He said, “I think cinema is vital and essential and continues to transform itself, we’ve got all these great new young voices in movies, making the medium their own and moving it forward”.

Fellow director Guillermo del Toro recently spoke of his fears that AI is leading the world on the verge of "cinema illiteracy".

Speaking at a BFI America event last month, he said, "We are on the verge of image illiteracy. We are on the verge of cinema illiteracy. The pact between man and image is sacred, but we are in a time when that is in danger. We are told images can be generated by artificial means. The existence of an image is not just to be there. It is to connect us, to make us feel beauty”.

He told IANS, “It's magic when he and I work together. I will tell you something, the reason why you like to see both of us is because there is no one-upmanship. Bad acting happens in the presence of ego, and good acting happens in the absence of ego”.

He further mentioned, “When there is a common artery, the performance gets enhanced. When an actor thinks he can do better than his co-actor, it reflects on screen. It happened once, when I said a punchline, and my co-actor didn’t give the desired reaction. So, the joke didn’t land or they would take a different shot for his reaction”.

The starting of the ‘Dhamaal’ franchise was marked by the release of ‘Dhamaal’ which was released on 7 September 2007. The film gave birth to two sequels, ‘Double Dhamaal’, which was a direct sequel to the first film, and ‘Total Dhamaal’. The first two films featured Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Saanand Verma, Ashish Chaudhary, Karan Deol, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.

During a recent interaction on the film, Nimisha Sajayan opened up about the extensive preparation behind her character and how observing real-life courtroom proceedings completely transformed her perception of the role.

Speaking about her experience, Nimisha Sajayan said, “I have portrayed a lawyer in an earlier film, but my experience with 'Enna Vilai' gave me an entirely different perspective. Director Sajeev Pazhoor asked me to visit a courtroom and closely observe the proceedings. Until then, I had a certain perception of how lawyers presented their arguments. However, witnessing the proceedings in person completely changed my understanding. The arguments, conversations, and overall atmosphere were far more natural and realistic than I had imagined. That experience significantly influenced the way I approached the character, particularly the dialogue delivery and courtroom portions.”

The film marks a special creative reunion between Nimisha Sajayan and Sajeev Pazhoor after nine years. Sajeev Pazhoor was the writer of the critically acclaimed 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum', which marked Nimisha’s debut as a lead actress.

Reflecting on their long-standing creative association, Nimisha Sajayan said, “Sajeev Pazhoor was the writer of 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum', the film through which I made my debut as a lead actress. Hyderabad, July 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actress Bhagyashrii Borse on Saturday turned emotional and broke down at the success meet of her film 'Lenin' while whole heartedly thanking her fans for their constant motivation, which she said was what had made her stand on the stage of the success meet.

Participating in the success meet of the film, which featured Akhil Akkineni and her in the lead, Bhagyashri said, "I am feeling very emotional today. So please forgive me, I am going to speak from my heart. I am going to talk in English. I want to start with talking about the person because of whom I am here today -- my director Murli Kishore sir."

Addressing the director, she said, "If you didn't give me Bharti, I wouldn't be getting this appreciation today. If you hadn't given me the space and if you hadn't put me up there as Bharti, I wouldn't have gotten the appreciation that I have gotten today. So thank you so much, I will always be grateful to you sir."

She then thanked the film's hero, Akhil Akkineni. Bhagyashri said, "Coming to Akhil, I have seen you work really hard and even though I may not know your journey of these past 10 years, I know what it might feel like when things don't work out. I have seen you work so hard right beside me, I have seen you put blood, sweat, tears. I have not seen you sit even for a second, making sure everything was going right. So I think you deserve so much love, I told you that on tenth, love will be coming and it's come. You have arrived Akhil. So I am very excited. I don't know what our next script is going to be but I can't wait for it. I can't wait to act beside you because you are a performer."

After having thanked the other members of the Lenin team, Bhagyashrii finally thanked her fans, who had constantly stood by her and encouraged her.

"So, lastly I just want to say one thing, it's been a journey, it's been a journey of one-and-a-half years and every time that I have fallen, it's the messages of my fans, the reels, the constant motivation you guys have shown me. Because of which I am here today," she said as she broke down, unable to control her tears.

After regaining her composure, she continued, "So, thank you so much. I just want to say one thing and that is Hyderabad is my Karmabhoomi and I wish that my last film is also here. So, thank you so much everybody. "

For the unaware, director Murali Kishor Abburu’s Telugu film ‘Lenin’, featuring actors Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse in the lead, has now taken a strong opening in the theatres, with positive reports pouring in.

The actress essays the role of Advocate Archana, a lawyer who joins forces with an ordinary citizen seeking justice against powerful corporate interests accused of endangering lives. Through its courtroom drama and investigative narrative, the film aims to spark discussion about food safety, corporate accountability, and environmental concerns.

She spoke with IANS during the promotions of the film in the city, and shared how ‘The India Story’ fulfilled her desire to be a part of a courtroom drama.

She told IANS, “So courtroom drama is something that has been on my radar for a very long time. I have been looking for a good, meaty and challenging courtroom drama. So that aspect of my desire was fulfilled through the course of this film. But yes, as an actor I think there was a lot of evolution. There was growth and there was maturity in my performance as well as. I feel I have grown up as an actor, and there were moments which felt very real, and which I did not really have to enact or I did not really have to Imagine myself in that spot. I was actually living that moment. The tears were natural, feelings were natural and emotional struggles were real”.

“Dismay, success, loss, and grief, it all felt very real. So as an actor ,I feel that is something that is extremely challenging/ When you can forget that you are even a part of something you reach that stage of just being, and just co-existing in a particular scene. And not really being or putting an attempt to have a true existence”, she added.

Meanwhile, ‘The India Story’ also stars Shreyas Talpade in the lead role. The film explores the issue of pesticide misuse, food adulteration, and their impact on public health.

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 24, 2026.

Mumbai, July 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actor Rohit Chandel, who predominantly works in television has been arrested by the Ghatkopar police for allegedly stalking, repeatedly calling, harassing and assaulting a 16-year-old girl in an eastern suburb of Mumbai.

Police have booked the actor under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. As per the complaint, the accused, who is a resident of an eastern suburb, had allegedly repeatedly called the minor on her mobile phone from his number as well as several other numbers, allegedly harassing her

The complaint further alleges that on July 5, he confronted the girl near her residential building, chased her, picked up an argument, abused her and assaulted her by hitting her with his hands

The police have booked him under Sections 78, 115 (2) 352 of the BNS and Section 12 of the POCSO Act. The accused called her several times from December 2025 to July 7.

Rohit Chandel began his acting career with supporting roles before gaining wider recognition through youth-oriented and family dramas. Over the years, he has appeared in popular television shows earning praise for his natural screen presence and versatility.

He made his television debut in 2014, and gradually built his career through shows. His breakthrough came when he portrayed Peshwa Baji Rao in ‘Kashibai Bajirao Ballal’, earning recognition for his commanding screen presence. He also appeared in the streaming series ‘Escaype Live’.

She has endured pain physically, mentally, emotionally, and medically, with remarkable courage. Every new diagnosis, every medication, every injection, every sleepless night—she accepted them all with quiet strength, even when she was exhausted."

She then went on to say, "Today, she is going in for surgery. For the first time in a long time, I saw fear in the eyes of the woman who had always been fearless for us. She was anxious and overwhelmed. My sister and I stood beside her, holding her hands and reminding her that she would never have to face this journey alone. We gave her strength because she has spent her entire life giving strength to us."

Suja Varunee then said, "My mother is a true warrior. She has carried every responsibility on her shoulders without ever asking for anything in return. She has lived her life for her daughters, and we have always been her greatest joy. Her world has never been about wealth or possessions—it has always been about us."

Stating that watching her change because of her illness had been the most painful part of her life, Suja Varunee said, "I have seen a graceful, energetic, and radiant woman slowly become weak and fragile. Time has changed her body, but it has never changed her heart. She is still the same gentle, innocent soul whose love for her daughters remains endless and unconditional."

Complimenting her sister for being an extraordinary source of strength for their mother, Suja Varunee said her sister had cared for their mother with patience, compassion, and unwavering love.

The actress revealed that he emerged victorious despite his fingers not moving properly following chemotherapy during his battle with cancer.

Taking to her social media account, the 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!' actress shared a series of pictures from the event featuring her father receiving a trophy, followed by posing with family members, fellow participants and dignitaries.

In one picture, Shubhangi is seen standing proudly beside her father and other family members, while another picture captures him smiling with his trophy after the tournament.

Sharing the emotional post, Shubhangi wrote, "Congratulations Papa After battling cancer, my father's fingers still don't move properly because of chemotherapy. Yet, he won the carrom game. A reminder that strength isn't always in perfect hands—it's in an unbreakable spirit. Just keep moving with a happy heart."

The post received a lot of love from fans and friends from the television industry. Producer J.D. Majethia commented with claps and heart emoticons, while actress Kanica Maheshwari wrote, "Wow! Now I know the strength is coming from there! Congratulations to ur papa."

For the uninitiated, Shubhangi's father was diagnosed with esophagus cancer in 2024. At the time, the actress had appealed to her followers for prayers, and had written, "My Dear Insta family. A few days back my father was diagnosed with Cancer, his treatment is starting from today. Our family needs your blessings and prayers for his speedy recovery."

Her father has almost recovered from the disease and recuperating well as per reports.

On the professional front, Shubhangi Atre made her acting debut with 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' before gaining recognition with 'Kasturi', 'Do Hanson Ka Jodaa', 'Havan' and 'Chidiya Ghar'.

She became a household name after stepping into the role of Angoori Bhabhi in 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!', where she had replaced Shilpa Shinde.

The first picture showed a young Saumya dressed in traditional attire, with a black dupatta, forehead ornaments and decorative face paint. Another picture captured her in a bright yellow frock and matching cap.

In another throwback picture, Saumya was seen dressed as a child bride in a red traditional outfit, while in another photograph, she was featured posing with her parents during what appeared to be a family celebration. The actress also shared pictures of her mother making a traditional rangoli outside their home, followed by a heartwarming picture of her now elderly parents together.

Talking about Saumya on the professional front, began her journey in the entertainment industry as a model and television host before making her mark as an actress.

She made her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali's 2007 blockbuster 'Jab We Met', where she played Kareena Kapoor Khan's sister, Roop.

She went on to feature in television shows such as 'Aisa Des Hai Mera', 'Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni', 'Comedy Circus Ke Taansen' and many reality shows as a host.

It was her portrayal of Anita Mishra, fondly known as 'Anita Bhabhi', in the popular sitcom 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!' that made her a household name. After being a part of the show for almost 5 years, she exited the show in 2020.

Saumya was recently seen in the blockbuster film 'Dhurandhar', where she played a pivotal supporting role opposite Akshaye Khanna's wife.

Mumbai, July 11 (SocialNews.XYZ) Hollywood star Matt Damon, who is gearing up for the release of Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”, has expressed his desire to work with acclaimed Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.

The actor revealed that he almost collaborated with Kapur in 2002 but had to pass on the opportunity due to prior commitments to another film.

Damon is in India with Nolan and Tom Holland for the promotions of their upcoming epic fantasy action film. During a press conference in Mumbai, the 55-year-old star was asked about collaborating with an Indian filmmaker.

To which, the Hollywood star said that he wants to collaborate with National Award-winning filmmaker Shekhar Kapur. He went on to reveal that he did get an opportunity to star in his 2002 epic war drama “The Four Feathers” but couldn’t take up the film as he was already working on “The Bourne Identity.”

The Four Feathers, directed by Shekhar Kapur, stars Heath Ledger, Wes Bentley, Djimon Hounsou and Kate Hudson. The film is set during the British Army's Gordon Relief Expedition in Sudan, well after the formation of Mahdiyya, it tells the story of a young man accused of cowardice.

This film, with altered plot events, is the latest in a long line of cinematic adaptations of the 1902 novel The Four Feathers by A.E.W. Mason.

Talking about The Bourne Identity, the action-thriller film directed by Doug Liman. Based on Robert Ludlum's 1980 novel of the same name, it is the first installment in the Bourne franchise, and stars Matt Damon, Franka Potente, Chris Cooper, Clive Owen, Brian Cox, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

Meanwhile, The Odyssey is an adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic the Odyssey. The film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, the Greek king of Ithaca, and chronicles his long and perilous journey home after the Trojan War and his encounters with mythical beings as he attempts to reunite with his wife, Penelope.

The singer along with her husband who appeared on the reality show, Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar, reminisced about having a crush on the actor during his iconic stint as Sujal in the hit television show ‘Kahiin To Hoga’.

Speaking to Rajeev, who is also the host on the show, Neha recalled how she had openly named him as her favourite celebrity during her Indian Idol days.

"Toh Indian Idol ki baat hai. Main contestant thi aur mujhse channel ne pucha, 'Aapka favourite celebrity kaun hai? Unka naam batayiye.' Maine bola, 'Rajeev Khandelwal'."

(This goes back to my Indian Idol days. I was a contestant, and the channel asked me, Who is your favourite celebrity? Tell us their name. I said, Rajeev Khandelwal.)

Neha went on to reveal that her admiration for Rajeev only grew stronger after he paid her a surprise visit when she was recovering from chickenpox during the singing reality show.

Pointing towards her husband, Rohanpreet Singh, she quipped, "Mujhe pata hai ye inko sunn ke thoda jealous feel ho raha hoga. But sahi mein kamaal ka kaam kiya hai Sony Entertainment Television ne. Mujhe kuch problem ho rahi thi. Actually, chickenpox ho gaya tha aur uss time mujhe Indian Idol discontinue karna pada tha. Main ghar pe rest kar rahi thi aur jab main resume karne wali thi, toh mujhe get well soon karne ghar pe kaun aaya tha? Rajeev Khandelwal. Itna toh sabko idea hoga. Matlab, Sujal har ek ladki ka... itni chhoti, itni badi, har kisi mahila ki deewangi tha Sujal, and I am standing right here next to Sujal."

(I know he must be feeling a little jealous hearing this. But Sony Entertainment Television did something really special. I had chickenpox and had to discontinue Indian Idol for some time. Later in the episode, the old video featuring Rajeev and Neha was played as a surprise, leaving the singer emotional.

Reacting to the clip, Rajeev said, "Pehli cheez yeh ki main Neha ke saamne gaana gaa raha hu, maine abhi dekha, meri himmat thi ki main is ke saamne gaana gaa raha tha."

(The first thing I noticed was that I was singing in front of Neha. I can't believe I had the courage to sing before someone like her.)

He further added, "Yeh Mumbai shehar… yahan log kehte hain ki sapne poore nahi hote. Yeh woh Neha thi jo Mumbai aayi thi apni jagah banane, aur inka jo khwaab tha Rajeev Khandelwal se milne ka, wahan se lekar aaj is manch pe yeh aur Rohan as special guests yahan aaye. Neha, however, made it clear that time had not changed her admiration for the actor.

"Aapko kya lagta hai main tab fan thi, abhi fan nahi hoon? Nahi, nahi... I still admire you aur pehle bhi karti thi. Pehle aapne mere liye gaya tha aur is baar bhi gaaiye."

Honouring her request, Rajeev sang ‘Thoda Sa Pyaar Hua Hai’, the iconic track associated with ‘Kahiin To Hoga’, and brought back memories of the beloved television show.

Talking about Rajiv Khandelwal as Sujal in the eyeconic show Kahin To Hoga the character went on to become a heart throb of the early 2000s.

His on screen pairing with actress Aamna Sharif as Kashish is even considered to be one of the most iconic on screen pairings of Indian television.
