Mumbai, May 20 (SocialNews.XYZ) Actor Divyenndu Sharma opened up about his journey in Bollywood and said that starting from scratch comes with its own price, stating that it is the struggle what shapes an actor.

In an exclusive conversation with IANS, the actor spoke candidly about his career, gratitude, and the importance of constantly challenging himself with different roles.

“Woh jo aapne bola, woh scratch se na, woh scratch karna bahut zaruri hai. Uske peeche ek price hoti hai. Toh main wahan se start karna bahut zaruri tha.”

(What you said about starting from scratch… that scratch is very important. There is a price behind it. So, it was very important for me to start from there.)

Divyenndu further shared that he has always been mindful about choosing projects that allow him to explore different kinds of stories and characters.

“I have been very mindful of the fact ki main jitne projects karun, koshish usmein ye karun, main jitna different characters aur jitna different stories ka part ban sakun, woh better hai.”

(And yes, I have been very mindful of the fact that whichever projects I do, I try to be part of as many different characters and stories as possible)

Reflecting on his success without any industry backing, the actor said he feels both blessed and humbled.

“I feel very blessed. I feel very humbled ki jahan bhi aaj main pahucha hoon, without any backing or whatever, that I always wanted to be an actor. Today, I am a professional actor. People like my work. They give me love, respect my work.”

Divyenndu also acknowledged the countless aspiring actors still waiting for an opportunity in the industry.

He added, “Each day, I am very, very thankful to God, to energies, to artist gods up there, that I can actually go and express myself on screen there.”

Known for his memorable performances in projects like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, and especially ‘Mirzapur’, where he played the iconic role of Munna Bhaiya, Divyenndu has carved a distinct identity for himself in the industry.

On the work front, the actor is all set to be seen in the upcoming movie ‘Peddi’ which also stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on June 4.

She played a titular role in The Married Woman directed by Sahir Raza. The web series also features Monica Dogra in the lead role.

She made her film debut with “Lakadbaggha” an action thriller film directed by Victor Mukherjee. It stars Anshuman Jha, Riddhi Dogra, Paresh Pahuja and Milind Soman. The film follows Arjun Bakshi, an animal lover, who discovers an illegal animal trade cell in Kolkata. He turns into a vigilante to save the animals and chances upon a rare species of the Indian black-striped hyena.

The actress was last seen in the reality show “The 50”.

Travolta was speaking to Jimmy Fallon on his “The Tonight Show”. A glimpse of the chat was shared on the show’s Instagram handle with the caption: “John Travolta had no idea he was being honored with the Palme d’Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival! #FallonTonight.”

In the video Fallon talked about how Travolta said that he was surprised about being feted with the honour and that he got emotional.

The host asked: “This was not planned?”

To which, Travolta shared that it was a “complete secret”.

He added: “No one on my team knew. No one on the Apple team knew. No one did. And I think what happened was, five months prior, they had made a decision about me that was unheard of in the history of Cannes. Thierry Frémaux saw this film ‘Propeller One-Way Night Coach’, the one that you saw tonight, and he loved it.”

The actor-filmmaker said: “He thought it was great. And he said, I want you… I've done something I've never done before. I'm going to accept it as the first selection now, which he had never done five months early.”

Travolta added: “And I think he said, but I'm going to make it a very special night. So, I think he was planning this for five months. But , Yeah, you're like, a special night. Because I was happy just to be there. I didn't expect this at all. it's such a privilege to have a film at Cannes.”

Fallon said having his film “Propeller One-Way Night Coach” screened at Cannes is “a prize in itself.”

“But I think give John Travolta every award because you deserve all the awards because of what you've given us as an artist. Yes, I just loved it. And I love that — I just love how, like, humble you were there. I'm like, dude, this guy's been through it. He's seen everything, but you still appreciate it. And I'm like, that's why everyone loves you,” Fallon concluded.

For the unversed, the Palme d'Or is the highest prize awarded to the director of the Best Feature Film of the Official Competition at the Cannes Film Festival. It was introduced in 1955 by the festival's organizing committee.

During an exclusive conversation with IANS, Boman passionately spoke about unity in Indian cinema and how language should never become a barrier in storytelling.

“I am now done with this North-South India debate to be honest. We all are Indians at the end of the day,” said Boman.

He added “Each region you go to, I mean a Delhiite will speak different from Hindi than I speak. It's just the cinema remains the same, the humanity remains the same, the people who love this country remain the same, Cinema grammar remains the same.”

He added, “It's a style. The language changes. Language changes every 200 kilometres. Am I saying that I am a foreigner to those 200 kilometres? I am not. Neither are they foreigners to us. Right?” Boman said.

The actor further explained how Indian cinema today has gone beyond regional boundaries, with films being celebrated across languages and cities.

Referring to his movie Peddi, Boman said, “Why are we doing these interviews here today? Because a film made in Hyderabad have a certain language. People who hail from there, they are coming to Mumbai to promote their film because it's part of this beautiful country. So, the only thing that we have to adapt to is the language and for me, I think I have figured out a way how to do that. Once you do that and you understand what is the soul of that line, then language becomes easy.”

Talking about performance and acting beyond language, Boman shared, “When acting we have to consider, ‘What is that you are saying? What is the subtext of that line? What does it actually mean? You can say it in Hindi, in English, in Marathi, but you have to deliver it to the people. But you have to think about it in your own language and say it.”

Known for his stellar performances in films like ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, ‘Don’, and ‘PK’, Boman Irani has always delivered superhits.

Hyderabad, May 20 (SocialNews.XYZ)The makers of director Prashanth Neel's eagerly awaited magnum opus, featuring actor Jr NTR in the lead, on Wednesday announced the title of their film as 'Dragon' and also released an arresting glimpse video from the film to mark the birthday of the actor.

Taking to his X timeline to share the link to the Glimpse video, actor Jr NTR wrote, "And then… The DEVIL WAS BORN. #DragonGlimpse #Dragon @AnilKapoor #PrashanthNeel @rukminitweets #BijuMenon @ravibasrur @MythriOfficial @NTRArtsOfficial @DragonMovieOffl @TSeries."

The Dragon Glimpse that the makers released shows that Jr NTR plays Dragon, the assassin-in-chief of the Afghan Trading Company, one of the two prime entities involved in a global opium war.

The Glimpse video begins with a voice over that points out that the British primarily came to India for the opium poppy, which produces heroin. It goes on to explain how the British, by staying in India, controlled the two places where the banned drug is cultivated most -- Afghanistan and a region that is spread over places in the Thailand, Laos and Burma.

We are then told that after the British left, the business was taken over by other entities and that was when an opium war broke out between the two main players -- The Afghan Trading Company and the Golden Triangle. The Glimpse video then goes on to introduce all the villains of the Afghan Trading Company.

Notable among these is Jr NTR, who is introduced as Luger, the Assassin-in-Chief of the Afghan Trading Company. He is also called Dragon. NTR, who sports a look that is both menacing and majestic, is heard saying, "When I shut my eyes to sleep, I don't see the faces of the people I have killed. I only see the faces of the enemies remaining. Don't even by mistake appear in my dreams!"

The Glimpse video also shows that Anil Kapoor plays Raghuveer Rathod, the Chief of the Narcotics Bureau and Biju Menon plays Jaleel Rahman, the Afghanistan Logistics Head.

The film was to originally hit screens on June 25 this year. However, its release was later postponed to June 11 next year.

Only a few days ago, Jr. NTR had shared a picture of himself on Instagram, much to the delight of his fans. In the image, the actor was seen flaunting his chiselled back and beefed up biceps at a gym. Captioning the picture, he said, “Built. Not bought. #NTRNeel @kumarmannava @ntrneelfilm.”

The film has triggered huge interest in fans and film buffs ever since the project was announced.

Jr NTR had joined the sets of the film from April 22 last year. The film, which is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with NTR Arts, is expected to be a one-of-a-kind cinematic spectacle. The film is being jointly produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju.

The glimpse video promises high-octane action, compelling storytelling, and grand visuals.

“But if they wanna make money from my losses…. keep quiet don’t enjoy.bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life.”

The actor further wrote, “Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath.Buss try kar lena …. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga ?”

In his final post, Salman warned, “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena ,jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa.”

The posts quickly grabbed attention online, with fans and celebrities flooding the comments section with support.

For the uninitiated, Salman Khan, on Tuesday night, was seen posing his cool at the paparazzi stationed outside a hospital in the city, where he visited.

As soon as the paparazzi saw him coming out of the hospital, they were seen screaming out Salman’s name for a photo.

What seems to have irked Salman is that the photographers, forgetting they were standing outside a hospital,started to scream “Maatrubhumi”, the name of Salman's highly anticipated movie, probably to get an update of its release.

As the actor walked towards his car, he took a step and firmly told the paparazzi to behave after which, they apologized and stopped filming the video. He told the paparazzi, "Pagal ho kya?".

He wrote, “My Dear #AMAALIANS 2019 to 2026 The big boys in powerful positions have got me out of more than 60 odd projects. 20 films toh maine khud hi mana kar diye as it was beneath me to work in those setups.. The musician in me wouldn't be able to respect himself. I still did my bit, and will always do my best to put music and shoot videos whenever possible for my fans, with or without the movies.. No regrets at all, it's their loss. But somehow it becomes a loss to my listeners & fans, and I'm sorry for that but I need to make it clear to all of you”.

He further mentioned that he has been trying his best for the last 8 years, with utmost sincerity & obviously some respectful terms & conditions of working but sadly it doesn't work for this place. He also shared that his inability to hide the truth about the industry and its workings has irked them even more, leading to pointless threats to him and his family.

He shared, “There are some very powerful set of people that don't want me to be part of their films or any film for a matter of fact, and it's not just labels, it's beyond that NOW, it's a mixed syndicate of egoistic humans. I will not name them today but their time will come someday and the lord above will show them their place. All of them are playing award worthy politics for almost 8 years now and that's why you hear less of my music in films”.

“I can't be part of a clout, a power setup, or be part of petty groupism. Even the NEPOTISM isn't working. So mujhe maaf karo..... Mera indie music suno (So forgive me..... Listen to my indie music). If a film song comes great, if not then don't fret”, he added.

As he walked towards his car, he took a step and firmly told the paparazzi to behave after which, they apologized and stopped filming the video. However, it’s not yet confirmed as to whom the actor paid a visit at the hospital.

Earlier, Salman had assured his fans that he has plenty of attention from his vast social circle. The actor took to is X, formerly Twitter, and penned a long note in which he said that his previous statement about loneliness was simply a musing, and not the reflection of something that he is dealing with in life.

He wrote, “Arre yaar Mai apne bare mai nahi baat kar raha tha (Hey, I wasn't talking about myself). How can I be alone when I have such a large amazing family n friends n how can I be lonely when I have u guys,your wishes n Duas, I would be the biggest na shukra (ungrateful person) ever”.

However, the actor then shared that sometimes his social battery runs out, and he just can’t deal with people. Hence, he prefers some “me time”.

Los Angeles, May 20 (SocialNews.XYZ) Hollywood actor Colman Domingo has shared details into his journey of coming out of the closet. The actor shared that he came out as gay after his brother took him to a strip club.

The ‘Michael’ actor, who has two older siblings, Derek and Averie, and one younger, Philip Bowles - recalled how his older sibling was the first person he disclosed his sexuality to in the early 1990s and he will never forget his loving reaction, reports ‘Female First UK’.

The brothers were at a strip club, and Colman, now 56, asked Derek to step outside with him. He recalled to the new issue of Men's Health UK magazine, "(I knew I) came from love. I told him that I was gay. He looked at me and was just like, 'What?' He just couldn’t believe it. Eventually, he said, 'I don’t care, man. I love you anyway’. And he just hugged me. Then he said, 'Have you told anyone else?' I said, no. He said, 'Alright, this stays between you and me’”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, but two days later, Colman received a call from his sister, who was "p**** off" about the news, because he hadn't turned to her first.

He said, "She was p***** off. I said, 'Look, yes, it was really hard for me to tell him’. She said, 'No, no, no. Why didn’t you tell me first?' She was p***** off because she didn’t get the information first”.

Not long afterwards, the Four Seasons actor broke the news to his mom Edith, who took it in her stride and pledged to keep the news quiet.

He added, "Twenty minutes later, the phone rings and she says, 'I talked to your stepfather’. She puts him on and he says, in his blue-collar masculine way, 'You’re a good boy and there’s nothing you can tell me that would make me stop loving you’”.

Both Colman's mother and his stepdad, Clarence Bowles, passed away in 2006, and their deaths had a profound effect on his life.

He said, "Now I live without apology. What I feel is what I feel. What I say is what I say. How I love is how I love”.

Colman could recently be seen playing Joe Jackson in the Michael Jackson biopic Michael and despite accusations the patriarch was violent and tough towards his children, the actor tried not to see him as a villain.

Los Angeles, May 19 (SocialNews.XYZ) The fan-favourite series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ is set to have its spinoff. The series will premiere during the 2026-2027 broadcast season.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ creator Shonda Rhimes serves as co-creator and executive producer on the new series alongside Meg Marinis, who has been the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ showrunner since Season 20 in 2024, reports ‘Variety’.

As per the official logline, the currently untitled one-hour series is “an edgy drama about a team at a West Texas rural medical center, the last chance for care before miles of nowhere”.

Ellen Pompeo, star and executive producer of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ also serves as executive producer on the spinoff, as does longtime Rhimes collaborator Betsy Beers. The spinoff is produced by 20th Television and Shondaland.

As per ‘Variety’, besides the team behind the scenes, it is not yet known what connection the new series will have to ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and whether Pompeo’s Meredith Grey or other known characters will make appearances in the Texas medical center.

“I am incredibly excited to expand the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ universe”, Marinis said in a statement. “This opportunity will bring new characters and stories to life that will embody the same heart, emotion and connection audiences have loved from ‘Grey’s’ for more than two decades, all set in my home state of Texas. I am so grateful to Shonda Rhimes for creating this dynamic world and feel so fortunate that I get to be a part of it”.

the new series will be the fourth spinoff of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’. The famed medical drama, which recently concluded its 22nd season, has also given way to ‘Private Practice’ (six seasons from 2007 to 2013), ‘Station 19’ (seven seasons from 2018 to 2024) and ‘Grey’s Anatomy: B-Team’ (six episodes on ABC.com in 2018).

Mumbai, May 19 (SocialNews.XYZ) Hollywood actor Miles Teller has opened up on what shaped his performance in ‘Paper Tiger’. The actor shared that losing his home in last year's Los Angeles wildfires fuelled his performance.

The 39-year-old actor features in James Gray's crime drama about two brothers who find themselves and their families under threat from the Russian mafia and revealed that the emotions he and his wife Keleigh Sperry felt after losing their home in the January 2025 Palisades Fire, as well as the passing of his grandfather, were channelled into the part, reports ‘Female First UK’.

Miles told IndieWire, "When I met James for this movie, our house had just burned down. And I had just lost my grandfather. We were renting a place in Santa Barbara, and then I got the call saying James wanted to meet me for this”.

He further mentioned, “That infused the story and performance with a lot of love as well, because of that feeling of home that Keleigh and I had lost. I'd lost it with my grandfather, but then also just the physical place where you can have people come gather, where you have memories attached. We did not have that, so that probably came through”.

The actor explained that his face was shaking with anger during a specific scene with co-star Adam Driver. The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ actor said, "I saw that. Yeah, there was a twitch going on there. At least in my own life, your family can get to you in a way that nobody else can. Those feelings are so deeply rooted and established from childhood, so I guess in that moment, and neither one is fully aware of the ramifications of the Russians, this deal going bad, and how it's affecting that person in their life. In that particular scene you're letting out. It's not just about what they're talking about right there”.

He further mentioned, “It's an entire lifetime of misgivings, he's going to let him have it. When that's happened to me in my personal life, you feel so bad afterwards. It's a horrible feeling when you're not talking to a sibling or your parents, and often it's hard to make amends”.

As per ‘Female Firs UK’, the actor shared that he signed up to star in ‘Paper Tiger’, which also features Scarlett Johansson and has been nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, as he wanted to play a character who reflects the current stage of life that he is at.

The Gorge star said, "If you want to have a long career, the audience, hopefully, that you attract in your early 20s, as they get older, and they start having kids or not having kids, but just getting more life experience under the belt, you want to reflect that in your choices as well”.

“And James makes movies for adults, he deals with characters. I've loved every one of his films, and I've always felt like he gets incredible performances, so I was excited to play a man at this point”, he added.

The weekly podcast, executive produced by Kevin, Joe and Nick, will “pull fans deeper than ever into the brothers’ world with an intimate, wildly fun and refreshingly unfiltered look at their lives on and off the stage”, reports ‘Variety’.

‘Hey Jonas’ is set to premiere on May 20 on major audio platforms. The series is launching under an exclusive deal with iHeartMedia.

Kevin says in the trailer, “I felt like everyone in the world had a podcast, so we just felt left out. So, we needed a podcast”. After a short pause, Nick says, “Well, I was thinking more that we had a lot of really important things to talk about. You know, we don’t spend enough time with each other as it is. So why not just fill the space between soundcheck and the show with a podcast”, Kevin interrupts, “Where we have to be together in a closed environment even more”.

As per ‘Variety’, offering a glimpse into what the show will be like, in the trailer, the brothers also talk about whether they pee in the shower, what tattoos they would get right now; and the merits of sending someone flowers vs. an Edible Arrangements fruit basket as a gift.

‘Hey Jonas’ will feature “real-life moments of brotherhood through candid, unfiltered conversations about family, touring, personal moments fans rarely see and everything in between. Along the way, Kevin, Joe and Nick will be joined by people who know them best, from family members, close friends and longtime confidantes”.

‘Hey Jonas’ is also executive produced by Amy Sugarman and Danielle Romo for iHeartPodcasts.

He also shared how letting go of control comes to him from a place of trust.

The actor spoke with IANS during the promotions of the 2nd season of his hit OTT show, and shared that trusting his peers and co-artistes is the very essence of his life.

Randeep told IANS, “Well, you have to, like even when you prepare for a character, no matter what you do in your room or in your hotel room or your home or whatever, you've got to go there and not have any preconceived notions. You don't have to see what the other actors are doing. You don't have to kind of know where the director is going to set up the shot or what it is going to be. You go there and you react to it and you not only trust the people. But you only trust other people, your co-conspirators, only when you can trust yourself. So you have to trust yourself. You have to let go of all the preparation and you have to just be in that moment and enjoy it”.

“And you should always have that hope that ,’I should not betray the trust of the people who are with me. And that in itself takes you along a long way. One thing, I would like to say that as an artiste and as a director, I was very sure of everything. As an actor, I'm never very sure of anything. So that's what you leave it to something and it works out usually”, he added.

On the professional front, Rhea will next be seen in a significant role in the show "Family Business". She will be seen working alongside Anil Kapoor, Vijay Varma, Neha Dhupia, and Dhruv Sehgal in the drama being made under the direction of Hansal Mehta.

The 'Jalebi' actress is returning to acting after a gap of 7 years with the Netflix drama.

Reflecting on her journey in Bollywood, Rhea penned on her official Instagram account, "7 years have passed since I went to set ..But I’m still the same girl who came to Bombay at 17 with a dream to be an actor. A part of me moved on, but a part of me stayed and waited. And I’m here, once again in my chapter2 It seems Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.”

Mumbai, May 19 (SocialNews.XYZ) Television actor Vivek Dahiya will be seen in a completely fresh avatar in "Superhero Istreewala". He will be seen playing Jai in his next, a simple ironing-shop worker dealing with financial hardships and family pressures, while still keeping his faith and humanity intact.

A miraculous incident changes his life forever and introduces him to three mysterious divine guides - Gyaan, Gun, and Sagar.

During an exclusive conversation with IANS, Vivek revealed that the idea of playing someone with superpowers is what made him say yes to the role.

The 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actor was asked, "The title 'Superhero Istriwale' itself sounds quite surprising and has already grabbed a lot of attention. When this project was offered to you, what was your first reaction? What instantly struck you about it?"

Revealing that he never saw himself playing such a character on screen, Vivek told IANS, "The very first thing that attracted me was the character and the look. As you can see, this is such a unique role that I had never even imagined I would get an opportunity to play. I am portraying an ironing man named Jai, who has divine powers. He is a devoted follower of Lord Hanuman, and as you can see, I am wearing this locket too. Lord Hanuman blesses him with special powers, through which he helps people."

"For me, the idea of playing someone with superpowers itself felt extremely exciting because I had never explored anything like this before. My instant reaction was, “Yes, let’s do this.” I knew it would be challenging, but at the same time, very exciting", the 'Qayamat Ki Raat' actor went on to add.

Vivek will be seen sharing the screen with Isha Pandhe, who has been roped in to play his wife Anjali in the forthcoming series.

Meanwhile, Rajneesh was recently seen as Inspector Ranvijay Ahlawat in the second season of Randeep Hooda-led crime thriller, "Inspector Avinash".

Backed by Gold Mountain Pictures, Jio Studios, and Spotless Films, the web series also features Hooda as Inspector Avinash Mishra, Urvashi Rautela as Poonam, Amit Sial as Sheikh, Shalin Bhanot as Baljeet Singh, Freddy Daruwala as Veer Bhushan Thakur, and Abhimanyu Singh as Devi.

Premiered on JioHotstar on May 15, the series has been directed by Neeraj Pathak.

This show is believed to be inspired by the life of UP super-cop Avinash Mishra.

Previously, Hooda spoke about his connection with the real-life cop.

"When I first read the script, the character felt like a blank slate, and I was not sure which direction to take. That changed when I met the real-life inspiration for the series, Inspector Avinash Mishra. Spending time with him helped me discover the character on a much deeper level, his physicality, his accent, his worldview, and the way he deals with people and situations", revealed the 'Highway' actor.

Taking to its X timeline, Power House Pictures, the production house producing the film, wrote, "The magic on the mic, the true voices of the city! #ConCity - Dubbing begins for the @harish_durairaj directorial, coming soon to theatres. An @RSeanRoldan musical. Starring @iam_arjundas @benanna_love @iYogiBabu #Vadivukkarasi #Akhilan. @powerhousepic in association with @Maaliandmaanvi @kloutstudios and @SilverTreeOffl."

Earlier this month, the production house had announced that the unit had wrapped up shooting of the film.

It had then said, "A journey we can't forget, a big step closer to you. #ConCity - WRAPPED UP! A film by @harish_durairaj, coming soon to theatres near you. An @RSeanRoldan musical. Starring @iam_arjundas @benanna_love @iYogiBabu #Vadivukkarasi #Akhilan. @powerhousepic in association with @Maaliandmaanvi @kloutstudios and @SilverTreeOffl."

The makers have already disclosed the characters played by Arjun Das, Anna Ben, Yogi Babu, Arul Doss, Abdul Razzak, Shahji Chen, Ponvannan, Sathanand, Rage Esakki, Madhan Dakshinamoorthy, Imman Annachi, Ramesh Thilak, Thambi Ramaiah and Bharadwaj Rangan in their film.

A teaser that the makers had released earlier has triggered huge interest in the film.

The teaser opens with Arjun Das getting threatened over phone by a money lender. He questions Arjun Das on why he had stopped picking up his calls.

From the phone conversation that Arjun Das has with this person, it becomes evident that Arjun Das has fled with his family after locking his home. The money lender threatens him saying, "Do you think I can't find you? If you think you can cheat me of my money, no matter where you run to, I will come and cut your family members to pieces before your eyes." Arjun Das sternly tells him he won't pay and asks him to do what he can.

Soon after the conversation, Arjun Das loses his temper and starts hurling things he can lay his hands on in anger. When he picks up a small handy machine which looks like a receipt printer in a grocery store to hurl it, lighting strikes and it happens to touch the machine in Arjun Das's hand.

Soon after, everytime, he presses a button for a receipt, 500 Rupee notes begin to come out of the machine. Soon, Arjun Das is in a position to repay the money lender. But it is not just Arjun Das who has found out that he has a machine that can cough up money...

Written and directed by Harish Durairaj, the film, apart from Arjun Das and Anna Ben, also features Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, Imman Annachi and Akhilan in pivotal roles.

On the technical front, the film has music by Sean Roldan and cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan. Editing for the film is by Arul Moses A while production design is by Raj Kamal. Costumes in the film have been designed by Navaa Rambo Rajkumar while lyrics for the songs in the film have been penned by Mohan Rajan.

While the dances in the film have been choreographed by Santhosh, the fight sequences have been choreographed by Action Sandhosh.

Taking to her Instagram page to pen the birthday wish to her younger brother, Kayadu Lohar wrote, "Happy birthday to my baby brother @udailifts. No matter how much you grow up, you’ll still always be my baby brother. Before becoming anything in life, I became an elder sister first."

She went on to add, "Being your elder sister is basically a full-time job, giving you advice you don’t listen to, protecting you from everyone and still reminding you that I’m always right."

The actress, in a lighter vein added,"I may tease you, fight with you and act bossy sometimes, but that’s my elder sister privilege. Nobody can trouble my little brother except me."

On a serious note, she said, "No matter where life takes you, your sister will always stand right behind you, protecting you, supporting you,and loving you endlessly. Okay, enough now! Happy birthday!"

On the work front, Kayadu Lohar next has director Mariyappan Chinna's horror thriller 'Immortal', featuring actor G V Prakash along with her in the lead.

In fact, only a day earlier, the unit of the film had announced that shooting for the film had been wrapped up.

A teaser of the film that was released by the unit some time ago begins on a funny romantic note. It has G V Prakash, who is a die hard romantic, having a conversation with a friend. He says, "Imagine how it would be if a handsome guy like me and a very beautiful girl stayed in the same house." The friend replies, "It would be jealousy-inducing." To this, G V Prakash gleefully says, "It must."

The teaser then shows G V Prakash having a conversation with actress Kayadu Lohar in a flat that looks exactly like the one he was seen talking about a while ago to his friend.

"If I ask you something, will you mistake me," he asks her and she shoots back, saying, "You will anyway ask something that is wrong."

The teaser makes it evident that G V Prakash's character in the film is romantically interested in the character that Kayadu Lohar plays. He tells her, "My room has a lot of mosquito problems" to which she replies, "Mine has problems caused by bats. Is it alright?"

It is then that the horror phase starts. He wakes up in the middle of the night and looks through the keyhole, only to find a beast with the face of a bat!

The film, apart from G V Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar, also features a host of actors including TM Karthik, Kumar Natarajan, Lollu Sabha Maaran, Aaditya Kathir, Arshu Maharjan, Pema Tsamchoe and Sunita Shrestha.

On the technical front, the film, which has been produced by Arunkumar Dhanasekaran, has cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan and music by Sam CS. Editing for the film is by San Lokesh while art direction is by Siva Sankar. Stunts for the film have been choreographed by R.Sakthi Saravanan while dances have been choreographed by Sabarish.
