Talking about the inspiration behind the track, the singer mentioned the inspiration behind ‘Chehra’ was the thought that saath kisi khaas ka ho, toh aam se pal bhi yaadgaar ban jaate hain. I feel love is not always about doing big things for someone. Sometimes, it is about the smallest things, like teasing each other, having little arguments, caring for each other and just wanting to spend time together. I wanted to capture that kind of love in ‘Chehra’. The idea is that when you are in love, even the smallest things about that person become special. And sometimes, just seeing their face is enough to make your day.”

Mitta further revealed how the track was conceptualized. “The idea was to create a love song that feels real and relatable. In Haryanvi music, we have a very distinct style and a certain desi swag, and I wanted to retain that while exploring a softer, more romantic side. ‘Chehra’ is about the kind of relationship where you can be completely yourself with someone, where there is love, care, nok-jhok and a lot of masti. You don't always need grand gestures to show love. Sometimes, just being together is enough. We wanted the music video to reflect that same feeling, keeping the chemistry and emotions at the centre,” he explained.

‘Chehra’ features vocalist Swara Verma. The romantic number ‘Chehra’ captures the simple emotions that make relationships special: companionship, care, playful arguments, unconditional affection, and the comfort of being with someone who feels like home. ‘Chehra’ is released by Zee Music Company and is available across major music streaming platforms.

New Delhi, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kirit Somaiya, while making a shocking claim on Thursday, alleged that Bollywood actor Imran Khan received funding from Pakistan and support from some other nations for spreading anarchy and engaging in conspiracies to destabilise the country.

Kirit Somaiya’s sensational charge came hours after the actor was asked by the Mumbai Police to leave India by October 28 over participation in the recent anti-CEC stir.

"American citizen Imran Khan, receiving Pakistani funding and foreign support, and such foreign citizens are spreading conspiracies to create anarchy in India,” Kiriti Somaiya claimed in a self-recorded video.

He further said, “I welcome Mumbai Police & Immigration Dept action asking Imran Khan to leave India by 28 October All such Foreign Citizens, Persons using Foreign Fund to create Anarchy in India should face such action,” he wrote on his X handle.

It was the BJP leader who filed a complaint against Imran Khan and sought travel restrictions on the actor until the Mumbai Police completed their investigation, suggesting that the actor may leave the country.

Actor Imran Khan is the nephew of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and is best remembered for his roles in movies like 'Jaane tu Jaane na' and 'Delhi Belly'.

He is reportedly an American citizen and holds an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card.

The Mumbai Police, earlier in the day, issued a notice to the actor, asking him to leave the country by October 28, over his participation in the anti-EC protest on October 10, claiming that it was in violation of the Foreigners Act.

The actor had joined the stir at Mumbai's August Kranti Maidan on October 10, along with his partner Lekha Washington and cousin Zayne Marie Khan, to protest against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. The three were briefly detained by the police before being released a few hours later.

Following this, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya had approached the Mumbai Police, arguing that the actor should face charges for participating in an "illegal political agitation" and "violating OCI provisions and visa conditions".

Mumbai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Bollywood actor Imran Khan, who was directed by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) to leave India by October 28, is now set to approach the Bombay High Court to challenge the notice issued by the FRRO.

The actor was ordered to leave India over his allegedly unlawful participation in the recent August Kranti Maidan protests, which demand the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

The FRRO stated in its order that the actor allegedly violated the Foreigners Act by participating in the protests as he is not an Indian citizen, and holds Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI).

Imran Khan is considering filing a Writ Petition in the Bombay High Court against the notice from FRRO and for which he has engaged MZM Legal LLp as his counsel. Zulfiqar Memon, the managing partner of MZM Legal, was contacted for his input on the matter. He refused to comment at this stage.

The actor was issued a notice to leave the country days after he participated in a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Action has been taken against Imran under Sections 7 and 29 of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, and the actor has received a copy of the notice. The actor was detained by the police on October 10 in connection with the protest.

As per the information provided, action has been taken against Imran under the relevant provisions of the Immigration Act for allegedly participating in such a protest despite not being an Indian citizen.

On October 13, BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya approached the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and immigration authorities, urging them to issue a Look Out Circular (LOC) against actor Imran Khan.

He has also requested that the actor be barred from leaving the country until an inquiry into his complaint and the investigation into a Mumbai police case are completed.

In a letter dated October 13 to Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Kirit Somaiya called on the Ministry of Home Affairs to issue directions preventing Khan from travelling abroad under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025. He also asked the Bureau of Immigration to issue an LOC against the actor and notify the police should he attempt to leave India.

The move comes after a protest at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan on October 10 where demonstrators demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Mumbai, Oct 15 (IANS) Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has shared his views on the growing debate around artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on creativity, saying that while technology is a powerful tool, it should be used to enhance creative work rather than control it.

Speaking to IANS, Imtiaz said technological development could not be stopped and people should remain open to new advancements. However, he stressed that it was important to use technology in a way that helped bring creative ideas to life. “AI is a very powerful tool, but it is still a tool. The development of technology can never be arrested. One should not be averse to the development of technology. But you need to use technology as something that you want to use to enhance your work or to bring your work to life. Not the other way around,” he said.

The director added, “You cannot be the slave of AI. You cannot be a slave to AI.”

From writing and visual effects to editing and post-production, artificial intelligence (AI) has increasingly found a place in filmmaking.

Actor Janhvi Kapoor was recently targeted in a sexually explicit deepfake video created using artificial intelligence. Actors Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Vijay Deverakonda, and Khushbu Sundar strongly condemned the incident and called for strict legal action and government regulations to address the misuse of AI.

The incident was part of a wider concern over the misuse of AI to create misleading and sexually explicit content featuring celebrities. Other actors, including Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, and Shalini Pandey, have also been targeted in similar deepfake controversies.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Imtiaz Ali recently directed ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga,' which starred Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, and Vedang Raina in lead roles. Mumbai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Stand-up comedians Harsh Gujral and Madhur Virali have been summoned by Maharashtra Cyber Cell over the alleged use of vulgar and objectionable remarks in their comedy acts.

The comedians will have to appear before the Maharashtra Cyber Cell for questioning on October 19. Maharashtra Cyber has initiated an investigation after receiving a complaint from a woman, the official said.

Harsh Gujral is an Indian stand-up comedian and entertainer known for his observational humour, spontaneous audience interactions and energetic stage presence. Originally from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, he built his popularity through live comedy shows and viral clips on YouTube, where his conversational style and quick comebacks struck a chord with audiences.

Madhur Virli is an Indian stand-up comedian and IIT Delhi alumnus known for his dark humour, sharp storytelling and willingness to explore uncomfortable subjects. He gained recognition through comedy sets such as The IIT Dream, drawing on student life, relationships, personal setbacks and everyday experiences.

This action against the comedians follows a broader, multi-year crackdown by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell targeting objectionable content by digital creators. The first big crackdown started following heavy backlash and legal scrutiny over controversial remarks on Samay Raina's show ‘India's Got Latent’ in February 2025. At the time, Harsh Gujral proactively deleted all episodes of his own dark-humor show, ‘The Escape Room’, from YouTube.

In June 2026, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell filed FIRs against other creators, including stand-up comedian Pranit More, for disseminating obscene content through social media platforms.

In August 2026, the crackdown on Samay Raina did a backflip as several online creators including Samay Raina participated in an official Maharashtra Cyber awareness event aimed at curbing online scams. Following the event, Samay Raina went on to bag a Netflix release for the 2nd season of his show ‘India's Got Latent’ as it returned in a bigger, sanitized form.

Talking about Harsh Gujral, he often draws on everyday Indian experiences, family dynamics, relationships, regional stereotypes and cultural quirks. He combines storytelling with improvisation to create an interactive comedy experience. His signature show, ‘Jo Bolta Hai, Wohi Hota Hai’, helped establish him as a prominent name in India’s stand-up circuit. In recent years, he has expanded beyond comedy into mainstream entertainment, appearing on reality television shows such as ‘The Traitors’ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’. He has described reality television as an opportunity for viewers to understand his personality beyond his stage persona.

Mumbai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Bombay High Court has directed the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to issue its final decision on the upcoming film ‘Sahiya’ by October 27. The next hearing, to consider the Board’s decision, is scheduled for November 2.

Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal appeared for producer-director Sanjay Sharma through video conferencing. Advocates S. M. Haider, Abdul Talha, Mohammad Shaz and Surbhi also represented him. During the hearing, counsel for the Censor Board informed the court that a Revising Committee would be constituted on October 23. Sharma’s lawyers objected to this, as they argued that merely specifying a date for constituting the committee did not establish a deadline for a decision on the film.

While the order books the date, it would still leave uncertainty over when the committee would watch the film and deliver its decision. The producer’s legal team told the court that the application for certification had been submitted on May 30, 2026. The producer claimed that the film subsequently underwent screening, examination and revision. The first screening took place in July, and the film was placed before the Revising Committee in August. The certification to the film was refused on August 27.

The grounds cited for refusing certification included objections relating to the glorification of violence and anti-social activities. The producer maintains that the film’s story and message must be considered in their entirety, stressing that it is simply a love story.

Following the refusal of certification, producer-director Sanjay Sharma approached the Bombay High Court. His contention is that the prolonged certification process, followed by the refusal, prevented the film from reaching audiences and disrupted its proposed release.

The film is set against the backdrop of Jharkhand, ‘Sahiya’ tells the story of a newly married couple whose lives become entangled in violence, fear and suspicion. It stars Neeraj Kabi, Shantanu Maheshwari, Rinku Rajguru and Ishtiyak Khan. The film portrays how conflict affects the lives, relationships and dreams of ordinary people.

Sanjay Sharma maintains that the film neither supports nor glorifies violence. At its heart are love, human emotions and the suffering of innocent people struggling to survive amid violent conflict. He believes that preventing such a story from reaching audiences does an injustice to its underlying message.

He also questioned what objection the Censor Board could have to the depiction of forests and Adivasi communities, or to the film having been shot in Jharkhand.

The Censor Board is now required to issue its final order on ‘Sahiya’ by October 27. The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for November 2 before the Bombay High Court.

Chennai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Work on the next film of actor Soori, who is now riding high on the success of his blockbuster film 'Mandaadi', began with a grand pooja ceremony here in the city.

The film, which is to be directed by Ravikumar best known for having directed superhit Tamil films like 'Indru Netru Naalai' and 'Ayalaan', will be the seventh film to feature Soori as the lead actor.

The yet-to-be-titled film, which is being tentatively referred to as 'Soori7', is being produced by well known production house Mythri Movie Makers, headed by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar and will feature Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead.

Sources present on the occasion said that the film formally went on floors with actor Sivakarthikeyan clapping the board for the first shot of the film and ‘Mandaadi’ Producer RS Infotainment Elred Kumar switching on the camera.

The other prominent guests present on the occasion included director Mathi Maran, Lyca Productions’ Tamil Kumaran, director Keerthiswaran, Bejoy Arputharaj of Phantom Films, directors A.R.K. Saravanan, Nalan Kumarasamy, Mithran, Vetri Maaran and Ramkumar, and producer Arun Vishwa.

Producer Naveen Yerneni, who flew to Chennai to attend the pooja ceremony despite his pre-release commitments for 'Ranabaali', expressed his enthusiasm for expanding the banner’s presence in Tamil cinema.

“Following the success and response to Good Bad Ugly, Dude, Modha Rathri and Irumudi in Tamil, I am even more excited about producing more films in the language. It was truly delightful to witness the brotherhood between Sivakarthikeyan and Soori. Seeing their bond and camaraderie on this occasion was equally heartwarming. Directed by Sailesh Rathnakumar, the film bagged the Taipei Film Commission Award and the Hylife Vision Award, marking a significant achievement for the filmmaker’s debut feature. Speaking about the film’s win, Anjali said, “Sailesh has worked the hardest to bring this story to reality, and he deserves these wins. It's his first, and we received feedback from people at the Taipei Film Commission that it doesn't come as a surprise to see a debut with so much finesse and style. It's hard to believe that this is a debut.”

Her shifts can stretch from 12 to as long as 72 hours, leaving her with little control over her own life. When an incident from her past comes back into focus, she is forced to deal with a difficult situation. The film explores migration, friendship, caregiving, and the choices people make to survive.

The film stars Anjali Patil alongside Swathy Krishnan, Vinoth Kishan, Archana Padmini, Semmalar Annam, and Mekha Rajan. ‘Selvi’ is set to screen at the 50th São Paulo International Film Festival.

The Bhasma Aarti is a significant ritual performed at the Mahakaleshwar temple, one of the 12 revered Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Through his post, Gurmeet offered a glimpse into the couple’s spiritual experience and expressed his gratitude for being able to witness the sacred ceremony.

It may be recalled that the producer of the film, Dr D Arulanandhu, in an exclusive interview to IANS, had confirmed that the film had already recovered around 80 per cent of its investment even before its release.

During an interaction, the producer of the film, Dr D Arulanandhu, was asked if the film had, even before its release, broken even.

Responding to the question, the producer disclosed that the film had been made on an investment of around Rs 11 crore and pointed out that almost 80 per cent of what they had invested had already been covered.

Pointing out that all the rights of the film had got sold like hot pancakes, the producer had said, "I have got sixty per cent by way of OTT rights. We have recovered almost 80 per cent of the total money invested in the project even before its release."

In fact, the film had been in the news recently when OTT platform Netflix procured the film's post-theatrical digital streaming rights even before the completion of shooting.

Giving out details about the romantic entertainer, producer Arulanandhu said that he was attracted to this story because of the way it was narrated.

Stating that the story would revolve around a young boy and the developments in his life from the time he was a 19-year-old till the time he turned 26, the producer said the film would connect to everyone who watched it.

"Even a 45-year-old man would be able to connect with what happens in this film. Everyone who watches it will be able to relate to at least a couple of incidents that happen in it," he said.

The film, which has raised huge expectations among youngsters, is believed to revolve around a boy, who, due to certain extraordinary circumstances, gets admitted to a women's college. His experiences, being the lone boy in a college full of women, forms a significant part of the film.

Haiku has been produced by Dr. D. Arulanandhu and Mathewo Arulanandhu under the banner of Vision Cinema House. The film stars Aegan, Sridevi and Femina George in the lead roles, with Hari Haran Ram contributing additional screenplay.

On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Priyesh Guruswamy and editing by Sakthi Pranesh. Siddhu Kumar has scored the music and Prem has headed the art direction department. The film is slated to hit screens on October 23 this year.

The character was revealed as part of the birthday celebrations of the actor, who celebrated his birthday on Thursday.

Primeshow Entertainment, the production house producing the film, took to its social media timelines to wish the actor a happy birthday. It wrote, "HE HUNTER. THE WARRIOR. THE BEAST. Wishing our Mega Supreme Hero @IamSaiDharamTej a BLOCKBUSTER BIRTHDAY from Team #SambaralaYetiGattu. The world is about to witness a whole new dimension of him as ‘BALI’ on the big screens this Sankranthi. #HBDSaiDurghaTej."

The makers also released a poster of the actor from the film on the occasion that showed him carrying a sword and a shield and standing in front of what appeared to be a goods train.

It may be recalled that the makers had announced only last month that the team had begun dubbing for the film.

It released a video clip showing the unit holding a pooja before beginning the dubbing work of the film.

Sharing the video clip, the production house wrote, "#SambaralaYetiGattu Dubbing Begins with a divine pooja. Post-production works progressing at full speed to bring an ambitious and spectacular theatrical experience on JANUARY 12th 2027. #SambaralaSankranthi."

For the unaware, the film is slated to hit screens worldwide on January 12 next year.

The unit of the film had, only in June this year, wrapped up its Mumbai schedule.

Sources close to the unit had told IANS that the Mumbai schedule involved a prominent Bollywood actor. The inclusion of the national-level talent was expected to enhance the film's reach while strengthening its appeal across audiences nationwide.

The upcoming film has triggered huge interest among fans and film buffs for a number of reasons. Directed by Rohith KP and produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under Primeshow Entertainment, the film is being mounted on a grand scale with a budget of ₹125 crore, making it the biggest project in Sai Durgha Tej’s career.

The unit had shot a spectacular action sequence choreographed by National Award winning stunt choreographer Peter Hein in September last year.

Sources had then claimed that Sai Durgha Tej would face off against a Bollywood superstar, who would be seen in a powerful antagonist's role. Extensive CGI work is also progressing rapidly to elevate the cinematic experience.

Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi will be seen playing the female lead in this film, which will also feature a huge star cast including actors Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Saikumar, Ananya Nagalla and Ravi Krishna.

Sources claim Sai Durgha Tej has been working for the past two years on Sambarala Yeti Gattu, preparing for this transformative and emotionally intense role.

The film is to release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Sources claim Sambarala Yeti Gattu will be a landmark Pan-India action drama.

On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and music by Ajaneesh Loknath. Editing for the film is by Naveen Vijaya Krishna and costumes are by Ayesha Mariam.

Mumbai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Filmmaker and FWICE Chief Advisor Ashoke Pandit has welcomed the decision to ask superstar Aamir Khan’s actor nephew Imran Khan to leave India, saying that one must be an Indian first to fight for one's rights as an Indian.

The filmmaker criticised the actor's participation in a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, asserting that citizens must understand and respect the country's Constitution and laws.

On October 15, Mumbai Police issued a notice asking Imran Khan to leave India by October 28, days after he participated in a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Action has been taken against Imran under Sections 7 and 29 of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, and the actor has received a copy of the notice. The actor was detained by the police on October 10 in connection with the protest. As per to the information provided, action has been taken against Imran under the relevant provisions of the Immigration Act for allegedly participating in such a protest despite not being an Indian citizen.

Pandit has now reacted to the matter and said that he welcomes “the decision taken by the authorities of our country, by the Government of India and the Ministry, to ask him to leave this country.”

“And I am very clear about it because a person who has come on the streets to fight for his rights doesn't know what his rights are. So, to fight for your rights as an Indian, you have to be an Indian first. And I think this is nothing but an education.”

Pandit shared that he “got carried away and thought that it's a fun moment for you.”

“You went to the ground as if you had to go there to Shivaji Park to play cricket. So, it's very important for citizens to understand their rights. The right decision has been taken by the Government of India by coming down heavily on such people who have made a mockery of our Constitution and law in the name of freedom of expression and the right to do whatever they want to do.”

Pandit said that Imran Khan doesn’t have the rights to ask questions.

“You ask questions to the Government of India authorities without realising that you don't have the right to do that. I think somebody should have explained that to him. If you want to use serious national issues to make a comeback in the industry and build a career, then I think that's a very wrong decision you have taken.”

He went on to share that this “is a signal to all those people who are on the streets trying to make a mockery of the law.”

“They need to understand that things in this country work as per the Constitution of India. There is a proper system, proper courts and a proper judiciary. The system operates in this country of ours.”

“So, I welcome the Government of India's decision, and I think Mr Imran Khan should obey it and go back to the country where he belongs. We are very happy, and the entire country should be happy about it and react to this decision taken by the Narendra Modi government.”

Mumbai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Former India captain Rohit Sharma recently offered a glimpse into the lighter side of the Indian cricket team's dressing room while on the show, ‘Family Full House with Rohit Sharma’.

He recalled how former cricketer Yuvraj Singh would scold young players when they joined the team and added that he loved them equally, and also revealed how Rishabh Pant loved spending time with children during long international tours.

Star comedian Krushna Abhishek asked Rohit to imagine what some of his fellow cricketers would have been if they had not pursued cricket, based on their personalities.

The conversation led to Rohit giving some amusing job titles to Jasprit Bumrah, Yuvraj Singh and Rishabh Pant.

When asked about Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit called him a doctor, drawing a comparison with the pacer's ability to rescue the team in pressure situations, particularly during the death overs.

“Bumrah, I think, hote doctor, kyunki poore desh ko aage aake bachate hain yaar. Last-last mein aake ball daalte hain, team ko bachate hain. Matlab, bahut kam log karte hain. Isliye hum cricket mein bhi bolte hain, death overs mein doctors log hi death se bachate hain.”

(I think Bumrah would have been a doctor because he steps up and saves the entire country. He comes in to bowl towards the end and saves the team. Very few people can do that. That is why, in cricket, we say that doctors are the ones who save us from death in the death overs)

Moving on to former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, Rohit gave him the title of a ‘headmaster’, recalling how the senior cricketer would discipline younger players when they were new to the team. He also acknowledged the affection Yuvraj showed them.

“Yuvraj Singh ko main bolunga headmaster, kyunki unki ye aadat thi. Abhi nahi hai, lekin jab hum nayi-nayi team mein aaye the, 2006 ya 2007 mein, toh woh bahut daantte the young bachchon ko. Bahut pyaar bhi karte the.”

(I would call Yuvraj Singh a headmaster because he had that habit. He may not be like that now, but when we had just joined the team in 2006 or 2007, he used to scold the young players a lot. He also showed them a lot of affection)

Rohit further recalled how Yuvraj helped him feel comfortable in the Indian team during his early days, when playing alongside senior cricketers could be intimidating for a newcomer.

“Jaise mere pehle-doosre tour ke baad, mujhe unhone bahut comfortable kiya tha, kyunki, you know, kabhi-kabhi hota hai ki aap itne bade senior ke saath khel rahe ho, toh hamesha se thoda sa darr rehta hai, initially. Toh us darr ko actually inhone thoda-thoda kam kiya. Time laga, lekin kam hua.”

(After my first or second tour, he made me feel very comfortable. Sometimes, when you are playing alongside such senior players, you naturally feel a little intimidated initially. He gradually helped reduce that fear. It took time, but it did happen)

Rohit had another amusing observation when Krushna asked him about Rishabh Pant. The former India captain described the wicketkeeper-batter as a ‘babysitter’, explaining that Pant enjoyed spending time with the children of fellow cricketers during lengthy overseas tours.

“Babysitter, kyunki unko bachchon ke saath khelna kaafi pasand hai. Kyunki hum aksar lambe tour pe jaate the, do-do dhai-dhai mahine ke tour hote the. Toh main hamesha dekhta tha, hamari practice ke baad Rishabh aa jaate hain, bachchon ke saath khelte hain, kyunki hum saare logon ki families aur bachche saath mein travel karte the.”

(A babysitter, because he really likes playing with children. We often went on long tours, sometimes lasting two to two-and-a-half months. I would always see Rishabh coming over to play with the children after our practice, because our families and kids travelled with us)

Adding to the anecdote, Rohit revealed that Pant would sometimes eat from the children's plates, much to their annoyance. He also shared how the nickname ‘babysitter’ became associated with Pant during India's tour of Australia.

“Halaanki, kabhi-kabhi bachchon ki hi plate se khaana kha jaate the aur bachche kaafi naraaz hote the, but pyaar se karte the. Toh unko famous naam diya bhi hai. Australia mein jab hum khel rahe the, toh unke jo captain the, Tim Paine, us time pe unhone Rishabh ko babysitter kehkar bulaya tha. Woh hamesha bachchon mein kaafi famous hain.”

(However, sometimes he would eat from the children's plates, and the children would get quite annoyed, but he did it affectionately. He was also given a famous nickname. When we were playing in Australia, their captain at the time, Tim Paine, called Rishabh a babysitter. He has always been very popular with children)

She added that patience and perseverance are essential for building a career in acting. Delnaaz shared, “I started with theatre, and I used to get around Rs 400 per play in the late 1980s when I began doing theatre. Later, I did Commander in 1993, and I was paid Rs 1,200 per episode. Those were the early days of my career, and every opportunity helped me learn something. You have to start somewhere, gain experience and keep moving forward.”

She further added that actors must understand that success does not come overnight and that the right opportunities may take time to come their way. “You have to be patient in this industry. You cannot expect everything to happen overnight. You have to keep working, have faith in yourself and wait for the right opportunities. At the same time, you should know what you want from your work,” said Irani.

Talking about how she chooses projects today, the actress explained that she considers several factors before accepting an assignment. “I look at different things before saying yes to a project. The location, the working hours, whether the payments are made on time and whether I will be happy doing that work are all important to me. You cannot say yes to everything. You should know your priorities and what works for you,” Delnaaz mentioned.

The ‘Milenge Milenge’ actress went on to state, “Every project may not be right for you, and I think it is important to understand that. You should not take up work just because you want to remain visible. You should also be happy with what you are doing. After working for so many years, you learn to understand what suits you and what does not.”

Sharing her advice for aspiring actors, Delnaaz mentioned, “You need passion, patience, perseverance and conviction. If you want to be an actor, you have to be prepared for the journey. There will be good days and difficult days, but you have to keep going. You should believe in yourself and not give up just because things are taking time.”

Work-wise, Delnaaz Irani recently featured in Chumbak on Netflix. She is best known for her stint in shows such as “Yes Boss,” “Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka,” “Son Pari” and “Jamai Raja.”

The film is set to premiere at the Dharamshala International Film Festival. Reflecting on what drew her to the project, Kirti said the script resonated with her because of its simple, heartwarming, and subtle storytelling. Reflecting on the unique creative energy that went into shaping the project, Kulhari shared, “Kinaare is a film that happens to be my first child as a producer, and that will always remain special. It’s a script that really resonated with me. It’s a simple, heartwarming, and subtle film. I find all these adjectives in Iranian films—which I’ve always really loved—so when something like this came to me, I knew I had to make it.”

“This is exactly how I wanted to make this film: independently, make it the way I see it, the way we all see it collectively. It’s amazing that each and every member of the film has come together, believing in the script, and stood by my side purely for the passion of cinema, for the sole reason of being a part of the film for what it is. So, I’m very proud and happy to have brought something like Kinaare for the world to see,” she added.

Kirti’s co-star Rajeev Siddhartha opened up about the rare rhythm of the script and the immersive environment on set. He said, “I feel every actor looks forward to and hopes that they come across a script where not only is the written word important, but also the script itself encourages you to explore the spaces between the words. And with Kinaare, I got to do that as an actor. I feel Kinaare has such a universal theme that everybody who sees it will definitely be touched, be moved, and be slightly changed from within after the experience.”

Kirti Kulhari’s maiden feature production, "Kinaare," is set against the backdrop of a village near Delhi. It follows Amina (played by Kulhari), a single woman whose life is devoted to caring for her aging parents and tending to her home. Her routine is upended by a surprise visit from her cousin brother (Azam) after 15 years—unearthing a past that once fractured the family.

Written and directed by the Qadri brothers (Akbar & Azam Qadri), “Kinaare” will premiere at DIFF and marks a deeply personal chapter for Kulhari as she steps into the role of a producer. She has backed the feature under her banner, Kintsukuroi Films, along with co-producers Abhishek Koka & Maansi Guptey.

The film features Kulhari alongside Rajeev Siddhartha, Alka Amin, and Ravi Taneja.

He shared unseen pictures from their wedding at the Beverly Hills courthouse in California, offering a glimpse into the couple's sweet beginnings.

Taking to his social media account, Shriram shared a series of throwback pictures from their special day, including pictures of the couple exchanging rings and also celebrating their new beginning over a meal with family and friends.

Sharing the pictures, he wrote: “27 years ago today, at the Beverly Hills courthouse, we said ‘I do’ and began the adventure of a lifetime. We had no idea where life would take us, but we knew we wanted to experience it together. Two incredible sons, countless memories, a few challenges, lots of laughter, and a lifetime of love later, I’d choose you all over again.”

The pictures offer a glimpse into a very new chapter in Madhuri's life, when she chose to step away from the spotlight at the peak of her Bollywood career to build a family with Shriram in the US.

Madhuri was reportedly 32 when she married Shriram on October 17, 1999. Born on May 15, 1967, the actress was already one of the biggest stars in Hindi cinema at the time. The couple's wedding in California was kept private.

For the uninitiated, Shriram, a cardiovascular surgeon who grew up in the United States, was completely unfamiliar with Bollywood and the scale of Madhuri's superstardom in India.

In later conversations, Madhuri has spoken about how refreshing it was to meet someone who did not approach her through the lens of celebrity. Their introduction came through her brother.

After their wedding, Madhuri moved to Denver, Colorado, where Shriram was pursuing his medical career.

She took a break from her full-time acting career and embraced family life, welcoming their elder son, Arin, in March 2003, followed by their younger son, Ryan, in March 2005.

Although she remained connected to cinema through occasional professional commitments, Madhuri spent much of this period raising her children and enjoying a life away from the media glare she had experienced in India.

In 2007, she returned to the big screen with Anil Mehta's musical drama 'Aaja Nachle', in which she played Dia, a dancer who returns to her hometown to save her guru's theatre.

The couple permanently moved back to India later, in 2011 along with their two sons.

Following her return, Madhuri gradually resumed her film career and went on to feature in films such as 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Gulaab Gang', 'Total Dhamaal', 'Kalank', 'Maja Ma' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'.

Mumbai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Manoj Bajpayee’s headline creating film “Ghooskor Pandat” has been re-christened “Gajab Raat”. The National Award-winning actor's upcoming film allowed him to inhabit a world filled with suspense, moral dilemmas and questions of accountability.

Manoj said in statement: “My association with Netflix has been an exciting journey, and Gajab Raat is another project I’m delighted to be a part of. I have always been drawn to characters who are not easy to define, and this film gave me the opportunity to inhabit a world filled with suspense, moral dilemmas and questions of accountability.”

“What makes the story particularly compelling is how the characters’ motivations gradually reveal themselves as the night unfolds.”

He added: “Reuniting with Neeraj after so long was a wonderful experience, and seeing Ritesh make the transition from a writer, whose work I have admired, to a director was equally exciting. I think audiences will have a lot to discover in Gajab Raat.”

The film also stars Saqib Saleem, Akshay Oberoi, Divya Dutta, Kiku Sharda and Nushrratt Bharuccha.

For Neeraj Pandey, Gajab Raat continues his creative association with Netflix, following the Khakee series, Sikandar Ka Muqaddar and Taskaree. The film also marks his reunion with Manoj Bajpayee after nearly a decade, bringing the two collaborators together once again.

Creator Neeraj Pandey, said, “I have always believed that an engaging story should do more than keep you guessing; it should also leave you thinking. Gajab Raat is a thriller where the choices that people make push them to a point where there are no easy answers.”

“The tension comes as much from the moral dilemmas the characters face as from the events unfolding over the course of one night. Reuniting with Manoj and introducing Ritesh as a director was another exciting aspect of the project.”

Gajab Raat is a story about a cop caught between personal gain and doing what he believes is right. Produced by Neeraj Pandey’s Friday Film Works and directed by Ritesh Shah, the film unfolds over a single night, as one decision sets off a chain of events with far-reaching consequences.

Director Ritesh Shah said, “I’ve always loved thrillers that pull you into a situation and keep you guessing what happens next, and that was the starting point for Gajab Raat. With the story unfolding over a single night, we had the opportunity to build a sense of urgency and keep raising the stakes as events unfold.”

The actor recalled the time when his wife was diagnosed with cancer while he was shooting for the 1997 film 'Ghulam-E-Musthafa'.

Speaking at a prayer meeting held in memory of Nana Patekar in Mumbai on Wednesday, Shivaji shared how the veteran actor noticed his distress, encouraged him to open up and ensured that the film's shooting schedule was adjusted to allow him to visit his wife in the hospital.

Recalling the incident, Shivaji said he was extremely worried after learning about his wife's diagnosis and felt he would not be able to continue shooting.

Shivaji recalled that Nana spoke to the film's director, Partho Ghosh, who immediately accommodated his circumstances by allowing him to report to the sets at noon and leave by 8 pm.

Recalling the incident, Shivaji said, “My wife was diagnosed with cancer, and at the same time, I was shooting for a film. I was extremely tense, and Nana noticed that something was wrong. He asked me what had happened, and I told him that I would not be able to shoot. He insisted that I tell him what was going on. When I finally opened up to him, he said, ‘You keep quiet and wait for a day.’

He added, “Partho Ghosh was the director of the film, which also featured Aruna Irani, Nana and me. Nana spoke to Partho and informed the filmmakers that, from the very next day, I would need to go to the hospital every morning and evening. Partho immediately accommodated my situation and told me to come at 12 noon and leave by 8 PM.”

He added, “Nana never spoke about this gesture to anyone. He also informed Aruna Irani about my wife's cancer diagnosis and the difficulties we were going through. Everyone on the team took such good care of both my wife and me during that difficult time.”

The actor further said, “I have so many memories of him doing things like this. He would quietly help people without letting anyone know. There are many more stories like these about him.”

Shivaji also recalled the lighter moments he shared with Nana, remembering how the actor would greet him warmly whenever they met and tease him about his fitness.

“Whenever I met him, he would hug me tightly and flaunt his biceps, saying that I had become lazy and that my biceps had become very loose. I have so many memories of him. Even though we did not speak often, I have some very strong memories of him. But I would like to end my recollection of him with this particular incident.”

For the uninitiated, the two actors shared screen space in 'Ghulam-E-Musthafa', the crime drama directed by Partho Ghosh, which was released on October 31, 1997.

The film starred Nana Patekar as Ghulam-E-Musthafa, an underworld enforcer, while Shivaji portrayed Dayanand Dixit, a family man whose household becomes connected to the gangster's world.

Aruna Irani played Bhagyalaxmi Dixit, Dayanand's wife, while Raveena Tandon essayed Kavita, Mustafa's love interest and wife.

The film's music, composed by Rajesh Roshan with lyrics by Anand Bakshi, also contributed to its appeal. The song 'Tera Gham Mera Gham' stands out among its memorable tracks, featuring the voices of Hariharan and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

For the uninitiated, Nana Patekar passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 75. The prayer meeting in Mumbai on Wednesday saw stalwart actors like Rohini Hattangadi, Varsha Usgaonkar, Shivaji Satham amongst others.

During the conversation, contestant Lakshya Kumar Dwivedi asked Amitabh Bachchan about his favourite cuisine. The megastar revealed his preference for the simple comfort of dal-roti.

The contestant then brought up Allahabad's famous sweet treats. The veteran actor went down memory lane to recall his childhood memories of visiting the Sangam and enjoying milk jalebis.

Big B said, “Bhaisaab, main aapko bata raha hoon ki, pratyek kaal, jahan hum rehte the, wahan se paidal chalte the, aur Sangam jaake wahan nahate the. Aur wahan ki jo mitti hai, usse shareer pe malte the, dubki maar ke bahar nikalte the, aur jo bandh hai, usko paar karte hi wahan par doodh wali jalebi milti thi.”

“(Sir, let me tell you, back in those days, we used to walk from where we lived all the way to the Sangam to take a bath. We would rub the riverbank soil onto our bodies, plunge into the water, take a dip and come out. As soon as we used to cross the embankment, we would find milk jalebis there.)”

Recalling how much he misses the delicacy, Mr Amitabh Bachchan added, “Arey bhaisaab, itna hum isko miss karte hain ki bata nahi sakte.” (Oh, sir, we miss it so much that we cannot even express it in words)

He further expressed his admiration for the taste of the jalebis, saying, “Usse zyada swadisht jalebi humne aaj tak nahi khayi. Toh aap bohot bhagyashali hain, aap uss parivaar se hain, jinhone yeh meethi jalebi khayi hogi.”

(I have never eaten a jalebi more delicious than that. So, you are very fortunate to come from the family, that must have tasted this sweet jalebi)

Pankaj Dheer, best remembered for portraying Karna in the television epic 'Mahabharat', passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 68, following a battle with cancer.

His portrayal of the legendary warrior earned him great recognition and made him one of the most memorable faces of Indian television.

Apart from the television show Mahabharat, he was also known for his roles in popular television series like Chandrakanta, Bado Bahu, Sasural Simar Ka and others. In Bollywood, he delivered memorable performances in movies like Baadshah, Soldier, Zameen and others.

For the uninitiated, Kratika is married to Pankaj's son, actor Nikitin Dheer, popularly known for playing the antagonist Thangabali in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Chennai Express'.

Not many know it was Pankaj who played cupid in bringing the couple together. In 2014, when Kratika went to audition for a film that Pankaj was working on, the veteran actor was impressed by her and felt she would be a suitable match for his son.

He reportedly offered her a role in the film and also expressed his wish for her to become his daughter-in-law.

Pankaj then arranged a meeting between Kratika and Nikitin, allowing the two families to take the proposal forward. The couple soon tied the knot on September 3, 2014.

Mumbai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran Khan has been issued a notice by the Mumbai Police asking him to leave India by October 28, days after he participated in a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Action has been taken against Imran under Sections 7 and 29 of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, and the actor has received a copy of the notice. The actor was detained by the police on October 10 in connection with the protest.

According to the information provided, action has been taken against Imran under the relevant provisions of the Immigration Act for allegedly participating in such a protest despite not being an Indian citizen.

On October 13, BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya approached the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and immigration authorities, urging them to issue a Look Out Circular (LOC) against actor Imran Khan.

He has also requested that the actor be barred from leaving the country until an inquiry into his complaint and the investigation into a Mumbai police case are completed.

In a letter dated October 13 to Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Somaiya called on the Ministry of Home Affairs to issue directions preventing Khan from travelling abroad under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025. He also asked the Bureau of Immigration to issue an LOC against the actor and notify the police should he attempt to leave India.

The move comes after a protest at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan on October 10 where demonstrators demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. In his letter, Somaiya claimed that the gathering had taken place without the necessary permission. He further alleged that Khan had attended and participated in the protest before Mumbai Police detained him at the venue.

According to the letter, Gamdevi Police Station registered an FIR, numbered 813 of 2026, in connection with the incident, with Khan named in the case. Somaiya also stated that he had not received a copy of the FIR.

Somaiya claimed in his letter that Khan is a US citizen and reportedly holds an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card. He urged the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Bureau of Immigration to assess whether the actor’s participation in the protest calls for action under Section 7D of the Citizenship Act, 1955, and the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025.

Talking about Imran, he first appeared as a child artist in the films Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1998 and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar in 1992. He made his adult acting debut in 2008 with the romantic comedy Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, which was a success.

After the failure of his next two films, he then starred in a number of commercially successful romantic comedies such as I Hate Luv Storys, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu and the action comedy thriller Delhi Belly. This was followed by a series of box-office flops and a hiatus.

He was seen in a cameo appearance lately in the Vir Das film Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos. It also stars Mithila Palkar, Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi and Srushti Tawade. The film marked Imran's comeback roughly ten years after he last starred in Katti Batti in 2015.

The film followed Happy Patel, who is a clumsy but enthusiastic spy whose missions trigger unexpected consequences.

The actress added: “She threw it on the ground and tried to kick it. Again, nothing happened. She lifted it into her lap and sat down to exert some pressure on what she thought was the lid. She pushed her upper hand firmly into the object to try and release it. And then she woke up in hospital: missing two hands, part of her face and having suffered internal injuries to the area near her heart.”

Pike called Victoria as a remarkable story of “resilience and hope.”

“But her story also shows why this work matters. Landmines and unexploded weapons can remain hidden for decades, putting children at risk as they go about their everyday lives.

The land must be cleared, so that no other child has to face what Victoria did.”

Pike is known for her portrayals of complex and morally ambiguous women in independent cinema and psychological thrillers. She has been feted with several honours, including a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Laurence Olivier Award.

Talking about Palash, he formed the Indian pop-rock band Euphoria in 1998. The band has released 16 singles by adopting the DIY method, and embracing the digital revolution in the music industry.

They were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012 by the Indian Recording Arts Academy at the Palm Expo in Mumbai. Alongside jaunty pop rock songs, Euphoria have also been known to produce music with a satirical message.

Talking about Adams, he released his eponymous debut album when he was 20 years of age. He rose to fame in North America with the 1983 top ten album Cuts Like a Knife; the album featured its title track and the ballad "Straight from the Heart", which became his first U.S. top-ten hit.

His 1984 Canadian and U.S. number one album, Reckless, became the first album by a Canadian to be certified diamond in Canada and made Adams a global star; the album's six charting singles included "Run to You" and "Summer of '69", both top ten hits in the US and Canada, and the power ballad "Heaven", a US number one hit.

Talking to a contestant on the quiz reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati, the megastar expressed his desire to be addressed as 'Saheb' at home by his wife, Jaya Bachchan.

The funny moment unfolded when Big B asked a contestant on the hotseat about her companions accompanying her in the studio, “Aap apne companion ke roop mein kise laayi hain aaj?” (Whom have you brought along as your companion today?)

The contestant shared that her mother-in-law and 10-year-old son Daksh accompanied her, adding, “Waise toh Saheb aana chahte the, par kisi kaam vash woh nahi aa paye the..” (Actually, Saheb wanted to come, but he could not make it due to some work)

Curious, Amitabh Bachchan asked for clarification, “Saheb kaun hain..” (Who is Saheb?)

When the contestant revealed that 'Saheb' is what she affectionately calls her husband, Rahul, Big B humorously processed the tradition, “Unko Saheb bulati hain aap…” (You call him Saheb?!)

Reacting to the revelation, the megastar said he would take inspiration from the contestant and ask his wife, actress Jaya Bachchan, to address him in the same manner.

With a wide grin, leaving everyone entertained, the cine-icon stated, “Aaj hi jaa karke abhi raat ko main Jaya ji ko bolne wala hoon ki aap bhi humko Saheb bulaya kijeye, humko bahut accha lagega..” (Tonight itself, as soon as I get home, I am going to tell Jaya ji to address me as Saheb too. I would really like it)

Mumbai, Oct 15 (SocialNews.XYZ) Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor, as the shoot of his upcoming series “Farzi 2” draws to a close, reflected on how deeply his character Sunny resonates with him, saying the two share the same fire to prove themselves as artists.

Shahid took to Instagram, where he shared a string of images of his looks from the sets the second installment of “Farzi” and spoke about how he is reminded of how much his character lives in him.

“As the shoot on FARZI 2 is coming to a close. It only reminds me of how much Sunny lives in me. I am him and he is me. We both started as just a kid off the mumbai streets with a fire in his heart to tell the world…. look at me. I AM AN ARTIST !!” Shahid wrote as the caption.

Farzi is a black comedy crime thriller television series created, produced and directed by Raj & DK. It stars Vijay Sethupathi, Shahid Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna and Bhuvan Arora.

The show was released in 2023 and follows the story of a disillusioned artist who decides to make counterfeit money. The series shares continuity with Raj & DK's spy series The Family Man. The eight-episode series was released on Amazon Prime Video on 10 February 2023.

Shahid was recently seen in “Cocktail 2,” a romantic comedy drama film directed by Homi Adajania. It is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 film Cocktail and stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Cocktail 2 is the 10th highest-grossing Hindi film of 2026.

Shahid is the son of actors Pankaj Kapur and Neelima Azeem. He is trained as a dancer at Shiamak Davar's academy. He appeared as a background dancer in a few films of the 1990s and made his film debut in 2003 with a leading role in the romantic comedy Ishq Vishk.

He followed it with roles in several commercial failures before starring in Sooraj Barjatya's top-grossing family drama Vivah.

Sharing the happy news on Instagram, the couple expressed gratitude for their growing family, with Cuoco calling the newborn a blessing and Pelphrey describing her arrival as “another miracle.”

The actress took to Instagram, where she shared a string of images with her husband and newborn baby.

In the caption section, she wrote: “Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey. 10/12/26, There are no words to describe this feeling once again. What a blessing . We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo!”

“Family officially complete. Time to bring Matilda’s baby home! @tommypelphrey life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming. I love you forever, girl daddy!”

Phelprey also shared a string of images of himself with his wife and the newborn daughter.

Phelprey said: “Philomena Carmine Bobby Pelphrey. Another miracle. Welcome to our family youngest queen! Kaley you showed up in every way as a partner and a mom even when you weren’t feeling your best- you’re a CHAMPION. The girls and I would be lost without you. Thank God for the gift of this family and these girls.”

Cuoco and Pelphrey made their first public appearance as a couple at a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in May 2022.

Cuoco had confirmed her relationship with actor Tom Pelphrey in May 2022. Five months later, she announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child together. The actress gave birth to their daughter Matilda in March 2023. They announced their engagement in 2024.

Pelphrey is known for his work in the series Guiding Light, As the World Turns, Banshee, Iron Fist, Ozark, Outer Range, Love & Death, Task, Mank, and American Murderer.

Meanwhile, Cuoco starred as Bridget Hennessy in 8 Simple Rules and as the title character in the comedic thriller The Flight Attendant.

The actress went on to star as Billie Jenkins in the fantasy series Charmed, voiced the title role in the animated series Harley Quinn, and played the lead role in the comedy thriller series Based on a True Story.

Her film work includes Quicksand: No Escape and Growing Up Brady, as well as Virtuosity, Hop, The Wedding Ringer, The Man from Toronto, Meet Cute, and Role Play.
