Mumbai, July 16 (SocialNews.XYZ) Singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey, who is set to release her new album, has said that she has gone through a lot in the past 4 years.

On Thursday, the singer took to her Instagram, and shared a series of pictures and videos giving a peek into what her life has been lately.

She also penned a long note in the caption, as she said the album is an outcome of patience, and is about old friends and new dreams.

She wrote, “So much has happened over the last four years, so much time waiting for things to come together and so much time wondering if it was ok that things were falling apart. Patience was the key, and in between the songs came new thoughts about old friends and new dreams and from the doubt of whether the tree I had been planting would grow, came new sprouts and so grew a new rose bush underneath the willow. A large companion album, compiled by as many people as I could find to help me gather my thoughts about how much was changing. Stove is so lovely and intact as it was intended to be-a classic album if I may say, a lot of which we’ve toured and you’ve heard, but not all of it. Thank you to everybody involved. And as the years went by, came a beautiful, secondary album.

She called it a commentary on everything that has been going on for her, as she shared, “A commentary of sorts on everything that has been going on, and the patience that was required, and the trust I had to have that not all the things that weren’t working were just because of me. I’m grateful for all my collaborators, I guess it took what it took to finish it. I need a month to finish putting it together, and then send my two albums to vinyl”.

“Thank you for waiting. It certainly is two of my most beautiful pieces of work, rooted in what I thought would be made out of growth and joy but was peppered with a secondary compilation of songs that sprouted from doubt, hopefulness, and the understanding that new beginnings truly mean starting completely fresh and over. When life decides to send you down another river, it’s really not your choice and it’s truly an adventure of its own. I wrote about it. Now it’s time to trust the process and go downstream. I’m so grateful to everyone who’s still on board with me. And of course, I wish the best to everyone who stayed on land. Of course I understand. Just kidding. I thought we were in the boat together”, she added.

He also penned a long note detailing the history of the preserved ancient Roman city near Naples, Italy. He also heaped praise on the director of the series

He wrote, “On the day of the London Premiere of POMPEII: OUT OF TIME at the British Museum, I just want to salute this man, Tom Barbor-Might. Our director, showrunner, co-writer, steward and guide, a guide through time, and through the lives of the ordinary Romans caught up in the extraordinary moment of the volcanic eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD. Tom has worked tirelessly on this project for years. With such respect for history, for the expertise of archaeologists, classicists, geoscientists, psychologists and ancient historians, with such attention to detail, with such rigour and such care”.

The actor lauded him for his empathy, and his passion to bring the story of people of Pompeii to life.

He further mentioned, “All supported by his profound empathy for those real people of Pompeii, and honouring them with extraordinary imagination and creative energy in bringing their stories back to life. Our series, a story 2,000 years old, is propulsive, immersive and emotional. It’s a new way of telling a story we think we know. To walk through Pompeii is to feel as though you’re travelling back in time. In 79 AD, Mount Vesuvius violently erupted, burying Pompeii in volcanic ash. This rapid burial froze the city in time, uniquely preserving its buildings, art and the people.

He went on, “They were families, farmers & fishermen. Mothers and sons, business owners, soldiers, and friends. We are reminded that we are bound forever to a thread of human history which connects us all. At every turn, our telling of the story of Pompeii asks us to pause, rewind, reflect, rethink, replay, rework, reimagine. The process of writing history is itself a process of redrafting. Redrawing the picture, as new pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, new fragments of evidence, become available. So much of the heart of the show comes from Tom. He never forgot that Pompeii is a story about people. Real people, ordinary people”.

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for filmmaker Nag Ashwin’s highly anticipated sequel, Kalki 2. The latest schedule of the film commenced in Hyderabad earlier this month.

The sequel reunites Bachchan with Prabhas and Kamal Haasan, and continues the battle against Supreme Yaskin, portrayed by Haasan. Bachchan reprises his role as the immortal warrior Ashwatthama.

Mumbai, July 16 (SocialNews.XYZ) The makers of the upcoming film ‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath’ have approached the Supreme Court, and challenged the Odisha High Court’s verdict with regards to the release of the film.

The Odisha High Court had earlier imposed a ban on the film stating that it did not conform to the Skanda Purana. The makers of the film have filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the verdict of the Odisha High Court.

Senior advocate Devadatt Kamath presented the matter before a bench headed by the Chief Justice of India. He argued that the film is an animated feature made for children and that the ban has caused crores of rupees in losses to the producers.

The makers also shared an official statement with regards to the film, and its content. They said, “‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath’ is an extension of our animated series Jay Jagannath, created with the utmost honesty, sincerity and devotion for Lord Jagannath and His devotees”.

They further mentioned that they hope the audience gets to watch the film, and decide for themselves.

They went on, “The film is a heartfelt depiction of a devotee's bhav (devotion) towards Mahaprabhu Jagannath, and we make no claim otherwise. We deeply respect the sentiments of every devotee and everyone who follows the path of Lord Jagannath. We simply hope audiences get the opportunity to watch the film and decide for themselves. This Rath Yatra, our wish is for the film to reach children and families and bring them closer to learning more about Lord Jagannath and imbibe the culture and values. We have made this film giving our heart, soul and with pure intentions to celebrate faith, culture and devotion”.

“The film has received U certification from the CBFC in Hindi, Odia and Telugu and we have filed a review petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. As the matter is currently sub judice, we will refrain from commenting further and place our faith in the judicial process”, they added.

The actor reflected on the creative process behind his transformation into the titular character of Digger Rockwell, an oil baron. From false teeth and a Southern accent to cowboy boots, costumes, and body language, the actor revealed that every detail of the character's appearance and physicality was carefully considered in service of the story.

Speaking about the process of building Digger Rockwell and the role that makeup, costume, and physicality played in bringing the character to life, Tom Cruise said, “My process is, I'm absorbing, I'm absorbing, I'm absorbing. With the body, we're communicating a story. I want people to be immersed in a story”.

He also shared details about the elements that helped shape his character, as he shared, “The color of the cowboy boots. What are my shorts like? The sets, the color of the sets. They're beautiful on every single level... You look at the taste of this man. It's very special”.

The actor also revealed that Digger's false teeth became a key part of unlocking the character's voice and personality, saying, “I put the teeth on, and it's like, 'Let's f***in' go’”.

He also spoke about finding the rhythm, and how sets his eyes on the musicality of the character.

He further mentioned, “If you start to feel the musicality of the character, it has a rhythm, and it's not a rhythm like anything else. So the behavior of a character, the movement of a character, these are things that we're looking at on the makeup side. As you're developing, you've got to go, 'Is this our tone? Is it a drama? Is it a comedy? Is it too much?' You're dialing it in”.

He went on, “When we're looking for characters, we're looking for humor, drama, certain constructs, how do we communicate this? Whether it's Les Grossman or Interview With the Vampire, Collateral, or Risky Business, I'm always asking, 'How do I communicate this?' The physicality, the makeup, that is stuff that you find as you are learning how to communicate. You really have to understand the tools, it's not one-size-fits-all. You have to find the communication, the lenses, the color of the makeup”.

He credited director Alejandro G. Inarritu for helping shape the performance, as he said, “Alejandro understands music, and that's the universal language that we're all finding. I think further, 'How do I prepare so that we have time to discover that rhythm?' Everything that I'm doing in terms of training or language or dance, I'm going, 'How do I prepare for these moments?' So I'm thinking about having that ability to be able to play a character like this”.

“It's a lifelong journey of learning and learning and learning”, he added.

The project marks Bajpai’s first appearance as the lead in the music video, adding another step to her work as an actor, singer, and writer.

Arian Romal, who has composed the song, stated, “After seven years, this is my first Hindi song that I’m releasing. I’ve been busy creating million-dollar companies, and now I’m back with my first song and music video from my upcoming album, International Daddy. In this album, I’ll be mixing multiple languages and creating something unique for listeners around the world.”

With this new track, Arian has marked his return to Hindi music after seven years. The song was released with an official music video featuring Tia Bajpai in the lead on July 10.

The film revolves around lovers Naren and Rajjo, who come from contrasting family backgrounds and depicts how their relationship is threatened owing to the outbreak of the Indian revolutionary movement.

The film's core plot was reported to be inspired by the 1992 Kannada-language film Mysore Mallige, which itself was based on the 1942 work of same title by K. S. Narasimhaswamy.

This was the last film work of R. D. Burman, who died before the release of the film.

Talking about Farah, she made her directorial debut in 2004 with Main Hoon Na. She then went on to direct the 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om.

Farah then went on to direct the cult classic Tees Maar Khan in 2010 and Happy New Year in 2014. She has choreographed more than a hundred songs in over 80 films and has won the National Film Award for Best Choreography.

He said he often encourages his sons to openly talk to him if they ever face bullying, discomfort, or any situation that troubles them. The actor said, “I am strongly against ragging. I have always told Yohan and Nirvaan, ‘Beta, don’t feel shy or embarrassed to come and tell me if someone is bullying you,’ because I have experienced this myself.”

“In fact, I was sexually harassed by someone when I was young, and I kept it to myself for years. When I grew up and became an adult, I finally confided in my father. Sohail Khan had earlier opened up about his marriage with Seema Sajdeh and reflected on the reasons behind their separation. Asked if his own life had an ‘Ishqnama’, what would be the title of her love story, Jai first quipped: “Risk Nama”.

He then told IANS: “This love story is based on Nirmal Nimma life incident. So nothing like this happened in my life. I haven't crossed the border for anyone. I haven't waited for anyone for 40 years because I am not 40 yet. He himself is 72-years-old, and he has waited for 40 years. And Ishqnama name suits his story.”

“I feel I won't be able to give such a name on my own story. It's difficult,” said the actor.

“Ishqnama,” which is a true story, chronicles the journey of real-life soulmates Nimma and Nasima. The film is set between 1981 and 1988 along the India-Pakistan border. It is a period romantic drama that explores love, sacrifice, and humanity beyond borders. It explores the psychological toll of forced separation and the sheer stamina of the human spirit when fueled by love.

“When you work with honesty, the responsibility decreases. You feel the responsibility when you are not honest. So I feel all the people who worked in this film were very honest,” said Jai.

Director Arvvindr S. Khaira said that the romance in the film is not born from imagination.

"As a filmmaker, you rarely come across a reality that overpowers fiction. The true story behind Ishqnama is exactly that—depicting a devotion so pure that it feels mythical. This isn't a romance born from imagination; it is the blueprint of Nimma and Nasima's life,” said Arvvindr S. Khaira.

The director added: “Capturing a love that survived impossible odds was such an incredible experience. I think it is a privilege that I got to honour the beautiful reality of what Nimma and Nasima endured across their lifetime."

Directed by Arvvindr S. Khaira and produced by Sourabh Rana Ravneet Kaur Chahal, Ishqnama is a period romance inspired by a true story adapted from the book Hind Pak Bordernama.

The film stars Jai, Shehnaaz Gill, Saurabh Sachdeva, along with a talented ensemble cast.

The music has been composed by B Praak, with lyrics by Jaani.

It is slated for a worldwide release across India, Canada, and the UK on July 24.

For the uninitiated, The Ragini MMS franchise began with Ragini MMS in 2012.

Inspired by alleged real-life events, the found-footage horror film starred Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz Motivala and became a surprise box-office success. It was followed by Ragini MMS 2 in 2014, starring Sunny Leone, which blended horror with glamour.

Talking about Tamannaah Bhatia, the actress has established herself as one of the leading actresses across Hindi, Tamil and Telugu cinema. She made her acting debut with the Hindi film 'Chand Sa Roshan Chehra' in 2005 before rising to fame in the South with hits such as 'Happy Days', 'Kalloori', 'Ayan', 'Paiyaa' and '100% Love'.

Chakravarthy, Lal, Radhika Sarathkumar, Saran Shakthi, Bala Saravanan, Smeha, Kaali Venkat, Jaffer Sadiq, and Mime Gopi in pivotal roles, will seek to bring the unseen world of smuggling and Customs enforcement to the big screen.

Not only has Samaya Murali written and directed the film, he has also composed the film’s background score.

For the unaware, an officer of the 2008 batch of the Indian Revenue Service, T. Samaya Murali has served extensively in Customs Enforcement and Indirect Taxation. A B.Tech graduate from NIT Tiruchirappalli, he was honoured with the World Customs Organization Certificate of Merit in 2021 for his exemplary public service.

Speaking about the film, director T. Samaya Murali said, "'Enemy of the Smuggler' is a fictional story that has been inspired by several real Customs cases that I have investigated during my career. Through this film, I wanted to present the high-stakes world of smuggling, organised crime and Customs enforcement in a gripping cinematic format while creating greater public awareness about the crucial role played by the Customs Department in protecting the nation's economic security."

The story follows Amar and Dheena, two youngsters from the slums of Chennai who work for a Customs agent, dreaming of escaping poverty. Their lives take a dangerous turn when they join notorious smuggling kingpin Lingam for their first major assignment: to clear a huge consignment of drugs through a Gujarat Port.

The consignment, shipped from Dubai by cartel boss Mathew Bhai, depends entirely on forged documentation. With a relentless Customs officer closing in, the duo finds itself caught in a deadly web of bribery, betrayal, and organized crime. What happens next is what the film is all about.

Apart from being a senior IRS officer, T. Samaya Murali is also an accomplished writer, researcher, filmmaker, composer and actor. Kesha has already started making jewellery from real teeth, having previously revealed she has been given over 1,000 of them from fans.

She added: “I made a necklace, an earring and then a belt and then a crown. Then I just started collecting them because it kind of freaks out straight men.”

Produced by Jayakumar and Preethy, the film, apart from Balaji Sakthivel and Munishkanth, will also feature a host of actors including Redin Kingsley, Vivek Prasanna, Kalki Raja, Jenson Diwakar, Jayakumar and Vinoth Munna.

Sources close to the unit of the film say that the film's plot will revolve around old cameras.

For the unaware, the makers of the film had only recently announced that the shooting for the film had been wrapped up. Sources say that a giant set was erected for the purpose of shooting this film and that the entire film was shot in it.

Sources also claim that actor, director and producer Vijay Antony, who saw some scenes from this film, was impressed and that he had congratulated the director of the film.

On the technical front, the film will have cinematography by Sridhar Subramani. Music for the film has been scored by Anand Kashinath while editing for the film is being done by well known editor N B Srikanth.

Costumes for this film have been designed by Srinisha Balaji and stunts in the film have been choreographed by Ram Kumar. The songs in the film will have lyrics by Adhesh Krishna and Eshwar Santhanalakshmi.

Dances in the film have been choreographed by Santhosh while sound design will be by Sathish Kumar.

"I had just superb material to work on. So, quite frankly, 50% of my work was already done. More than 50%, I would say, was already done because they gave me such amazing material to work with. After that, all I had to do was just add a couple of things to it to make it my own. So, thanks to them, it was a great subject matter that was given to me. As of now, I would say that not having dialogues was the easier part for me because earlier in life, you could read the whole page and remember it. But my memory is not what it used to be. So, the fact that I don't have to remember dialogues was actually the fun part for me.”

Sonali further mentioned, “But jokes apart, when there are no dialogues, it is more internalized, and that also makes it more real. There is a different struggle with that. And the struggle was that when you internalize it so much, how do you leave it behind? So, this was one character that I did struggle to leave behind on the sets. I did carry it home sometimes, and that was scary for me."

‘Raakh,” the investigative thriller set in the late 1970s, was heavily inspired by the Ranga-Billa case of kidnapping and extortion of siblings.

Chennai, July 16 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has now cleared director Arun Matheswaran's eagerly awaited film 'DC', featuring ace director Lokesh Kanakaraj in the lead, for release with an 'A' certificate.

Sun Pictures, which is producing the film, took to its social media timelines to make the announcement. It wrote, "#DC is certified 'A'. Releasing in theatres worldwide from August 7!"

For the unaware, the film was originally scheduled to hit screens a week earlier on July 31.

The film has triggered huge expectations among fans and film buffs as this film will mark the acting debut of director Lokesh Kanakaraj.

A special promo for the film that was released on the occasion of Valentine's Day this year gave away the fact that Lokesh Kanakaraj plays a character called Devadas in the film, while Wamiqa Gabbi plays a character called Chandra and actress Sanjana A K plays a character called Parvathi.

The video released was on similar lines to the title teaser of the film, which the makers released last year. The promo appeared to lend credibility to rumours that this film would be a gangster drama.

The promo starts off with Parvathi approaching a mike to but is unable to speak or sing. We then see Chandra putting on make up in what appears to be a house of ill repute. There are scenes that show Devadas and Parvathi having a conversation and Devadas consoling Chandra. The promo also has some grim visuals. Devadas is seen slitting the throat of an injured man and severing the head of another. The video ends with Devadas and Chandra getting away in a car.

The film has dialogues by Arun Matheswaran and Franklin Jacob with additional screenplay by Arun Ranjan.

Music for the film is by Anirudh and cinematography is by Mukesh G. Editing for the film is by G K Prasanna and art direction by Kannan S.

For the unaware, Lokesh Kanakaraj had undergone martial arts training for this film. Lokesh underwent martial arts training in Thailand for this film soon after he directed Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Coolie', which hit screens worldwide on August 14 last year.

Asked if her own life had an Ishqnama, what would be the title of her love story, Shehnaaz told IANS: “When a film is made on my life, I think it will be very interesting. And when that happens, I'll reveal its title.”

The actress is gearing up for the upcoming film “Ishqnama,” which is inspired by the real-life love story of Nimma and Nasima. The film is set between 1981 and 1988 along the India-Pakistan border. It is a period romantic drama that explores love, sacrifice, and humanity beyond borders.

Speaking about the responsibility that comes with playing a character based on a true story and the pressure of ensuring justice to the narrative, Shehnaaz said: “I think it is important to take responsibility when making a film based on a true story. I fulfilled that responsibility to the best of my ability.”

“See, it's important to feel the pressure because only then can you do justice to the story. I took that pressure completely, and I believe I did justice to it,” she concluded.

Shehnaaz was last seen in ‘Ikk Kudi’ follows a woman from a family of broken hearts who starts doubting her arranged marriage match and embarks on a quest to uncover her fiance’s mysterious past.

Shehnaaz gained stardom after her stint in “Bigg Boss 13”. It was in 2015, that Shehnaaz began her modelling career with a music video titled 'Shiv Di Kitaab'. In 2017, she marked her debut in Punjabi film 'Sat Shri Akaal England'.

Taking to social media, the ‘Neerja’ producer revealed that his father passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. He remembered him as a self-made man whose laughter, wisdom, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone around him. Sharing the details of his father’s final moments, Atul Kasbekar revealed that there was no struggle or suffering. He wrote, “At about 3 pm Tuesday, my dad passed away. Quietly, in his own bed, with my mum holding one hand and me the other. There was no sound. No sharp intake of breath. No struggle. He simply slipped away. He had just turned 88. You have to be especially blessed to ease into your next journey with what seemed like no pain or suffering whatsoever.”

“Papa leaves behind my mum, four children and eight grandchildren. He was always ready with a quick joke, a sharp wit and a razor-sharp mathematical mind.”

“Fiercely proud of his Karwari roots, the language, the cuisine and the people Totally self-made, he was generous far beyond his means, he quietly helped countless people over the years Thank you, Papa, for the values you gave us, the laughter you filled our lives with You will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved. Arun Bhaskar Kasbekar 24-06-1938 – 14-07-2026,” he added.

Along with his emotional note, the celebrity photographer shared throwback pictures of his father, celebrating the beautiful memories they created together as a family.

Soon after Atul shared the post, condolence messages began pouring in from Bollywood celebrities. Ranvir Shorey commented, “My heartfelt condolences to you and your family, Atul. Wish you courage and strength. Om Shanti.” Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “My heartfelt condolences … May his soul rest in peace.”

Arun Kasbekar passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 88. His son Atul Kasbekar is a renowned celebrity photographer who has made a mark in the industry with his iconic calendar shoots and long-standing associations with several Bollywood personalities.

Besides his successful photography career, Atul has also ventured into film production. He has co-produced films including Sonam Kapoor-starrer “Neerja,” Vidya Balan’s “Tumhari Sulu,” Emraan Hashmi’s “Why Cheat India,” and Taapsee Pannu’s “Looop Lapeta.”

She elaborated on how she battled the disorder for years before she even understood what she was going through.

Through an emotional video on social media, the actress spoke about growing up without awareness of eating disorders and how finally learning about bulimia changed her life.

In the video, Sana recalled the anxiety she experienced around food and how it affected her daily life as a child.

In the video shared by her, Sana can be seen revealing it all. “'I cannot constantly want to hide and eat or be worried that he'll enter my room and think that I'm overeating. I remember when I started reading the book, I was like… because you're so scared, you finally know what's the problem. And you don't want to face it. You've lived with it for so many years, you think something is absolutely wrong with you.”

She added, “I remember telling myself, "Okay, it's some sort of an eating disorder. But it's not this," because it was so difficult for me to admit to myself that I had bulimia. I never heard about it growing up. I wish I'd heard about it, so I would have gone straight to the problem.”

Alongside the video, Sana shared a powerful note describing how she silently carried the disorder for years.

The note read, “'I didn't know I had an eating disorder for years. Not because I wasn't suffering, but because I had never heard the words. Growing up nobody talked about it. There was no language for what I was going through so I carried it silently and alone for a long time.”

She added, “When I finally read about bulimia I understood for the first time what was happening to me. And even then the shame of admitting it, even just to myself, took years to move through. I'm sharing this because somewhere out there someone is carrying something they don't even have a name for yet. And I want them to know, it has a name. You are not alone. And there is a way through.”

She further wrote, “I am fully recovered and I have never felt more at home in my body or my life. If you are struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or look for eating disorder support in your region. You deserve real help from someone qualified to give it.'

Talking about Sana Saeed, the young lady began her acting career as a child artist and became a household name after playing Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji's daughter, Anjali, in the blockbuster 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'.

She later appeared in films such as 'Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega' and 'Badal' before making a successful comeback as an adult with Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year' in 2012i.

She has also been a part of reality shows including 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', 'Nach Baliye', 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi' and 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa All Stars'.

On the personal front, Sana got engaged to entrepreneur Csaba Wagner in December 2023 in a dreamy proposal in Paris. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Goa in January 2025.

The film has triggered huge interest in fans and film buffs ever since the makers first announced the project last year.

Fauzi hit the limelight earlier this year in April, when director Hanu Raghavapudi made an emotional appeal to people, asking them not to circulate leaked images of the film on social media.

Taking to his social media timelines, he had then said, "We’ve poured our hearts into #Fauzi to give you something truly special. Humbly requesting everyone, please don’t spoil the magic with leaks. Let’s experience it the way it’s meant to be… together in theatres."

At that point, the makers of the film, using the official handle of the film on the social media platform X, issued a stern warning to those accounts that were circulating the leaked images of the film.

The makers had then said, "It has come to our attention that certain accounts are circulating leaked images from the sets of #Fauzi. Please treat this as a strict warning - any such content will be reported, and necessary action will be taken against those involved."

The makers had further said, "These leaks compromise the experience we are carefully building. What’s coming on the big screen will be far bigger and worth the wait. We urge everyone to refrain from sharing or engaging with leaked content."

For the unaware, director Hanu Raghavapudi's upcoming historical action film, featuring actor Prabhas in the lead, was titled 'Fauzi'. While announcing the title of the film, the makers had used Sanskrit Shlokas.

Opening up on why they had used the Shlokas, director Hanu Raghavapudi had said, “We intentionally used Sanskrit Shlokas because they add gravity and meaning to our warrior tale. However, this is not a mythological film. We've only drawn philosophical inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita. 'Fauzi' is a powerful patriotic drama that explores human emotions and socio-political tensions during the British era, many of which still resonate globally today.”

The director, known for his visually rich storytelling in films like 'Sita Ramam', is said to be crafting 'Fauzi' as a large-scale cinematic experience that highlights the courage and inner conflicts of its protagonist. Prabhas, who has been experimenting with diverse roles, reportedly plays a complex character torn between duty, emotion, and ideology.

'Fauzi' marks Prabhas’s return to a grand period drama epic after 'Baahubali', promising an emotional and visually breathtaking cinematic experience. The film is expected to be released in theatres in multiple languages this year.

The film, which is set in the 1940s and which was tentatively being referred to as #PrabhasHanu before being titled 'Fauzi', will be a fictional historical and will feature actress Imanvi as the female lead.

Apart from Prabhas and Imanvi, the film also will feature veteran actors Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander and Jayapradha in pivotal roles.

The film has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar, who is one of director Hanu Raghavapudi's favourite music directors. Interestingly, it was Vishal Chandrasekhar who had scored the music for the director's earlier blockbuster 'Sita Ramam', featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead.
