Priyanka Chopra Celebrates Dussehra With Nick Jonas and Malti Marie at Their Los Angeles Home

Priyanka Chopra is proving once again that distance cannot weaken one's connection to their roots. Despite living in Los Angeles with her husband, Nick Jonas, and their daughter, Malti Marie, the global star continues to celebrate Indian festivals with heartfelt devotion and traditional rituals. This Dussehra, Priyanka offered fans a sweet glimpse into her family's celebrations at home, sharing pictures that beautifully captured their festive spirit, cultural pride and precious family moments. And the cutest highlight? Little Malti sporting a ‘Jai Mata Di’ chunri!

Taking to social media, Priyanka shared several pictures from the Dussehra pujan performed at her Los Angeles residence. Dressed in traditional attire, the actress looked immersed in the festive atmosphere alongside Nick and Malti. The family came together to mark the auspicious occasion, embracing rituals that have been an important part of Indian celebrations for generations. The pictures offered a warm, personal look at how Priyanka continues to bring the traditions she grew up with into her life abroad.

Among the adorable moments shared by the actress, Malti's appearance in a ‘Jai Mata Di’ chunri particularly caught attention. The little one looked like a tiny bundle of festive joy, adding an extra dose of sweetness to the family pictures. Priyanka and Nick have often offered glimpses of their family life through social media, but festive occasions provide an especially heartwarming opportunity to see them embracing traditions together. Malti's participation also reflected how cultural practices can be introduced to the next generation through simple family rituals and celebrations.

Priyanka accompanied the pictures with a heartfelt message dedicated to Goddess Durga and the spirit of Dussehra. “May the strength of Maa Durga, the purity of our prayers and the spirit of Dussehra stay with us all, today and tomorrow and always,” she captioned the post. The message beautifully captured the essence of the festival, which symbolises the triumph of good over evil and celebrates the strength of the divine feminine. For Priyanka, the occasion was not merely about festive photographs but also about expressing faith, gratitude and a lasting connection to her cultural heritage.

The actress's celebrations come as she continues to balance her international career with her connection to Indian cinema. Priyanka is preparing to return to Indian films with Varanasi, the ambitious action-adventure project directed by acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The film also stars Mahesh Babu and is generating considerable interest because of its scale and creative team. Described as a story spanning multiple timelines and continents, the project is expected to bring together action, adventure and an expansive cinematic vision.

Another major attraction of Varanasi is its music, composed by Oscar-winning music director MM Keeravani. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on April 7, 2027. Priyanka's involvement marks an exciting chapter in her association with Indian cinema, as audiences look forward to seeing her reunite with the industry on a major project.

For now, however, the actress's Dussehra celebrations have given fans a glimpse of a more personal side of her life. From performing puja with Nick to introducing Malti to cherished Indian traditions, Priyanka continues to show that cultural roots can remain strong regardless of where life takes you. Her festive message, paired with the family's adorable pictures, serves as a reminder that traditions are often kept alive through the smallest and most meaningful moments at home.
