Nushrratt Bharuccha Shares First Update After Bali Accident Says Picture Abhi Baaki Hai Mere Dost

Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has shared her first personal social media update after suffering a spinal fracture in an accident in Bali earlier this month. The actress, who was brought back to Mumbai for further medical treatment, gave fans a glimpse of her recovery through an Instagram Story posted on Saturday. While the update was brief, her words carried an emotional undertone, suggesting that the experience has changed the way she looks at life. Nushrratt accompanied the post with a photograph that captured a quiet moment, leaving fans with a message of hope and determination as she focuses on her health.

The actress shared a picture of an empty reclining wheelchair placed beside a large window, with the setting sun visible outside. The striking image, paired with her reflective caption, hinted at how dramatically her circumstances had changed following the accident. Nushrratt wrote, “Been chasing sunsets forever, And just like that.. my view changed. But, Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.” The final line, a memorable phrase familiar to Hindi film audiences, added a note of resilience to an otherwise contemplative message. Her words suggested that although the accident has temporarily changed her routine and perspective, she is looking ahead to what comes next.

The post marks Nushrratt's first personal update since news of her injury became public. Before the accident, the actress had travelled to Bali for work, but the trip eventually turned into a work-cum-holiday. During her stay, she met with an accident and suffered a spinal fracture, requiring hospitalisation and medical observation. Her team subsequently confirmed that she was receiving treatment in Bali. The news raised concerns among fans, who waited for updates about her condition and hoped that she would recover without further complications.

Following the incident, Nushrratt's team announced that arrangements were being made to bring her back to Mumbai by air ambulance so that she could receive further treatment, including surgery. The statement underlined that her health was the immediate priority and that the necessary medical arrangements were being put in place. “At present, our immediate priority is her health and ensuring she receives the necessary medical care. We are currently making arrangements to bring Nushrratt back to Mumbai from Bali via an air ambulance, where she will undergo the surgery,” the statement read. The team also indicated that the actress would need adequate time to rest and recover following the injury and surgery.

The injury is expected to affect Nushrratt's professional commitments over the coming weeks as she concentrates on her recovery. Her team had also appealed to people to respect her privacy during this period, allowing her to focus on treatment without the added pressure of constant public attention. Her latest Instagram Story offers a small but meaningful glimpse into her state of mind, without revealing extensive details about her medical condition. Rather than providing a lengthy health update, the actress chose a photograph and a few words to communicate with her followers. The combination of the sunset, the wheelchair and her hopeful caption has given the post an emotional quality, while her reference to “Picture abhi baaki hai” signals that she is not ready to let this setback define her story.

On the professional front, Nushrratt was last seen in Ufff Yeh Siyapaa, directed by G. Ashok and produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg under the banner of Luv Films. For now, the actress's attention remains on her health and recovery, with her upcoming work commitments likely to depend on her progress. Her first message since the accident has offered fans a reason to remain hopeful, even as she navigates a difficult phase. By sharing that her view has changed but her story is far from over, Nushrratt has delivered a simple message of perseverance: there is still much ahead, and the picture is not complete yet.
