Yami Gautam Turns Up the Heat With Phata Patakha From Nayyi Navelli

Yami Gautam Dhar is ready to bring a completely unexpected kind of madness to the festive dance floor with “Phata Patakha,” the second song from her upcoming fantasy family entertainer Nayyi Navelli. The actress unveiled the energetic track with a playful caption that perfectly captures her character’s vibe: “Phata patakha, nikli Mohini” And yes, Mohini is clearly not here to sit quietly in the corner! The song throws Yami into a full-blown dance celebration, complete with zombies, colourful energy and plenty of quirky moves.

The newly released track gives audiences another glimpse into the wonderfully unusual world of Nayyi Navelli, where fantasy, family entertainment and comedy appear to be coming together in one seriously colourful package. Yami takes centre stage as Mohini, dancing alongside an unexpected group of zombie party guests. The undead may usually be associated with horror, but here they are clearly more interested in breaking out some moves and joining the celebration. It is a bizarre combination — and somehow, that is exactly what makes the song so much fun.

“Phata Patakha” comes packed with energetic beats, large-scale choreography and a playful visual treatment that keeps Yami firmly in the spotlight. The actress gets to explore a completely different avatar, bringing a lively, mischievous energy to Mohini while the zombies turn the dance floor into their own party zone. After seeing Yami in a variety of intense and dramatic roles, watching her lead a chaotic zombie dance number is certainly a refreshing change of pace.

The song has been composed and produced by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with lyrics penned by Vayu and vocals provided by Madhubanti Bagchi. Vijay Ganguly has choreographed the track, bringing together the large-scale dance movements and the unusual zombie concept. The combination of Madhubanti’s energetic vocals, G. V. Prakash Kumar’s music and Vayu’s lyrics gives the song the kind of festive punch designed to get audiences moving.

Presented by Zee Music Company in association with Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow, Nayyi Navelli is shaping up to be an intriguing mix of fantasy, family entertainment and quirky humour. “Phata Patakha” adds another colourful layer to that world, with Yami’s Mohini clearly embracing the chaos rather than running away from it. Between the catchy title, the unusual dance partners and Yami’s playful screen presence, the song certainly knows how to grab attention.

With Nayyi Navelli scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 16, Yami Gautam’s Mohini is already turning up the excitement with her “Phata Patakha” energy. The actress herself may have summed it up best with her cheeky caption — “Phata patakha, nikli Mohini.” Now that the song is out, audiences can get ready for a festive celebration where the dance floor has no rules, the zombies have serious moves and Mohini is clearly running the show.
