Bengaluru, Oct 5 (SocialNews.XYZ) NDA candidates K.M. Suresh and A.P. Ranganath on Monday filed their nomination papers for the Karnataka Legislative Council elections, with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President B.Y. Vijayendra expressing confidence that the NDA would win all four seats.
Suresh, the NDA candidate from the South-East Graduates’ constituency, and Ranganath, the candidate from the Bengaluru Teachers’ constituency, took out a padyatra from Lalbagh to the Regional Commissioner’s office in Shantinagar, where they submitted their nomination papers.
Speaking to the media after the filing of nominations, Vijayendra said the electoral atmosphere was favourable and that BJP and Janata Dal (Secular) (JD(S)) leaders and workers were working with determination to secure victory.
“We are working with the determination to win the elections along with the leaders and workers of the JD(S). The dignity and sanctity of the Legislative Council must be protected. Good candidates like these should get elected,” he said.
Vijayendra said the NDA would work with the resolve to ensure the victory of all its candidates.
He added that NDA candidates Namashi and Sankanoor would file their nomination papers on Tuesday.
“We have complete confidence that our NDA candidates will win all four seats,” Vijayendra said.
