Bhopal, Sep 21 (SocialNews.XYZ) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will jointly lead the state’s investor outreach in Bengaluru on Tuesday (September 22), seeking investments in the Telecom Manufacturing Zone (TMZ) being developed in Gwalior.
Yadav and Scindia will attend an Investors Round Table with leading telecom companies and investors at Taj Bengaluru, focusing on investment opportunities in the Gwalior TMZ and developing a wider telecom and electronics manufacturing ecosystem in the state.
According to the Madhya Pradesh government, Yadav will brief investors on opportunities available in the zone, industrial policies, incentives and support being offered.
“Through this interaction, investors will be informed about the investment opportunities available in the Gwalior Telecom Manufacturing Zone, industrial policies and the support provided by the state government,” the government said in a statement.
The meeting will also explore possibilities for research, innovation and expansion of allied industries linked to telecom equipment manufacturing.
Additional Chief Secretary Neeraj Mandloi and senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications will present the TMZ, its key features, and the policy support available to investors.
Representatives of leading telecom companies will share their experiences, while companies interested in the Gwalior zone will discuss investment proposals and requirements.
“The Chief Minister will address investors’ queries and suggestions and highlight the state government’s commitment to investment in Madhya Pradesh and the support available to investors,” the statement added.
Scindia’s participation will bring the Centre and the state government together with industry representatives to discuss the development of the Gwalior manufacturing hub and prospects for the telecom sector.
The government is also looking to leverage Bengaluru’s technology ecosystem to build research and technology partnerships for the Gwalior zone.
During his visit, Yadav will tour Qualcomm’s R&D centre, Signalchip Innovations and Signaltron Systems to understand developments in telecom research, innovation and technology.
The visits aim to explore possible collaboration between Bengaluru-based technology companies and the proposed manufacturing zone in Gwalior.
