Prem Keetanu Song Ishq Ka Ghulaam: Veer Pahariya and Aparshakti Khurana's Heartbreak Anthem Is All About Love and Emotional Chaos

The romance of Prem Keetanu is getting a more emotional turn with the release of its latest song, Ishq Ka Ghulaam. Zee Music and producer Gaurav Verma of Avanika Films have unveiled the fourth song from the upcoming Hindi coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama, offering a melody steeped in love, longing and heartbreak. With Veer Pahariya, Aparshakti Khurana and Aafiya Sayed at the centre of the film, the new track adds an emotional layer to a story that promises plenty of romance, friendship and youthful confusion.

Composed by The Rish, Ishq Ka Ghulaam has been penned by Kunaal Vermaa, while the vocals come from B Praak and Sukriti Kakar. The combination brings together an instantly emotive musical style with lyrics that lean into the complicated side of love. As the fourth song released from Prem Keetanu, the track continues to build the film’s musical identity while giving audiences another glimpse into the emotional world inhabited by its characters.

The song also appears to underline the film’s central coming-of-age flavour, where love isn't necessarily straightforward and heartbreak can become an equally important part of growing up. The title Ishq Ka Ghulaam itself hints at someone completely surrendering to love, making the track a fitting addition to a film that appears ready to explore both the lighter and more vulnerable sides of modern romance.

Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, Prem Keetanu features Veer Pahariya, Aparshakti Khurana, Aafiya Sayed, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay in key roles. The combination of younger performers and experienced supporting actors gives the film an ensemble-driven feel, with romance and comedy expected to sit alongside the emotional complications that come with relationships, friendship and finding one's place in the world.

The film is produced under Avanika Films, marking Gaurav Verma’s debut as an independent producer with his newly established banner. The project is co-presented by Gaurav Verma and Phars Studios, in association with Bhavana Studios, bringing together production houses from across the Indian film industry for the Hindi release.

Prem Keetanu has also attracted attention because it is widely reported to be the official Hindi remake of the 2024 Malayalam blockbuster Premalu. The original film became known for its breezy romance, youthful characters and humorous take on relationships, and the Hindi adaptation now brings that basic romantic-comedy space to a new audience while featuring a fresh ensemble.

With Ishq Ka Ghulaam now out, the musical campaign for Prem Keetanu is gathering momentum ahead of its theatrical release. The film is scheduled to arrive worldwide on October 2, 2026, during the Gandhi Jayanti weekend, giving the romantic comedy-drama a festive release window.

From playful romance to the inevitable heartbreak that follows, Prem Keetanu appears to be preparing audiences for a journey that isn't all roses. Ishq Ka Ghulaam brings the heartbreak — now it remains to be seen whether Prem Keetanu can turn all that emotional chaos into a love story worth rooting for.
