The Chief Minister made the remark after lighting earthen lamps in Lucknow during the 'Aashirwad ka Diya' ceremony, as part of the nationwide 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan'.
Addressing a gathering, CM Adityanath said: "Scores of earthen lamps are being lit across the country to pray for the good health and long life of PM Modi."
He further said that the 'Ashirwad ka Diya' is being lit to signify the exemplary work undertaken under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
"I thank everyone for being a part of this 'Rashtra Yagya'," CM Adityanath added.
Considering that Lord Vishwakarma is the "artisan of the universe", the CM said: "PM Modi is the craftsman of new India, who is today one of the most revered global leaders. Under his leadership, India has crafted an identity of its own. Today, we are witnessing a new India where every person, irrespective of any field, is proud of the nation."

The 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' has been launched by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to mark PM Modi's 25 years of public service.
Earlier in Uttarakhand's Dehradun, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called Prime Minister Modi the "architect of modern India" during the 'Aashirwad ka Diya' event held there.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, took part in the event in Ahmedabad.
