HM Shah, CM Yogi extend greetings on Prakash Purab of Guru Granth Sahib

New Delhi, Sep 12 (SocialNews.XYZ) Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday extended their greetings on the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, saying that the sacred scripture conveys the eternal message of harmony, service, truth and compassion to humanity.

HM Shah extended his heartfelt greetings through a post on X and said, "Heartfelt congratulations to all on the Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. By conferring the status of ‘Guru’ upon Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji conveyed the message that true guidance in life comes from knowledge, truth, and principles. This sacred scripture encompasses invaluable teachings on service, sacrifice, equality, compassion, and humanity, which will forever inspire society towards human welfare."

 

CM Yogi also extended heartiest congratulations and said, "Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all Sikh brothers and the residents of the state on the auspicious Prakash Purab of the sacred scripture 'Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji' of the Sikh Panth. This sacred scripture imparts the eternal message of harmony, service, truth, and compassion to all humanity. Let us internalise their divine teachings and contribute to the progress of the nation and society."

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said, "Heartiest greetings on the auspicious occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji! May the eternal wisdom of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji guide us towards peace, equality, and harmony."

Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM, Brajesh Pathak, also extended best wishes and said, "Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all Sikh brethren, devotees, and the residents of the state on the sacred Prakash Purb of 'Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji'! The teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji will continue to illuminate the entire creation for ages to come with the light of social harmony, goodwill, values, and humanity."

Meanwhile, the AAP government in Punjab has declared a local holiday in Sri Amritsar Sahib district on Saturday in view of the religious significance of the Prakash Purab. The order was issued by Punjab Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha.
