New Delhi, Sep 3 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has been conferred with the prestigious 'Overall Excellence in HR Practices for Greater Good' award at the 'HR for the Greater Good Conclave 2.0', organised by XLRI Jamshedpur, an official said on Thursday.
The conclave was held at the XLRI Jamshedpur campus from August 31 to September 2, the official said in a statement, adding that XLRI is one of India's oldest and most respected business schools, currently celebrating 75 years of excellence.
Anuj Dayal, DMRC Corporate Communications Principal Executive Director, said that during the conclave 23 organisations participated and presented their practices and perspectives on key themes, including AI Adoption in HR, Impact of Labour Reforms on Labour Practices, Environment and Sustainability: Green HRM, Total Rewards and Career Management, and Digital Transformation of Business and HR/IR Processes.
"Competing with more than 20 organisations from both the Private Sector and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), DMRC was recognised for its overall excellence in HR practices," he added.
"The award stands as a testament to the continued efforts of the DMRC's HR Department, working selflessly for the well-being of its employees, who in turn serve lakhs of commuters who travel by Delhi Metro every day," Dayal said.
The DMRC remains committed to fostering a people-first, ethical culture, guided by the values of service, sustainability, and inclusive growth.
The HR award for the DMRC comes close to it achieving ISO 55001:2024 certification for asset management on Mumbai line.
The certification for its Asset Management System for Mumbai Metro Line-3 made the DMRC the first metro organisation in India to receive certification under the international standard for asset management.
The achievement marked a milestone in DMRC's journey from conventional maintenance practices towards strategic, risk-based and lifecycle-oriented asset management, a statement said.
