Arshad Warsi Brings Double Trouble With Jeevan Ya Bheema Con Ahead Of September Release

Arshad Warsi Brings Double Trouble With Jeevan Ya Bheema Con Ahead Of September Release

Arshad Warsi is all set to bring a fresh dose of crime, comedy and confusion to the big screen with his upcoming film Jeevan Ya Bheema Con?. The film, which was earlier titled Jeevan Bheema Yojana, has received a last-minute title change just days before its theatrical release. Warsi also shared a quirky promo after the trailer launch, joking about a plan that seemed perfect until everyone realised that the plan itself was a con.

The biggest attraction of the film is Warsi’s first-ever double role, with the actor playing contrasting lookalikes who find themselves caught in a chaotic chain of events. The story revolves around debt-ridden Jeevan and his wife Yojana, whose attempt to pull off an insurance scam takes an unexpected turn when they encounter Bheema, a dangerous doppelganger. What begins as a desperate scheme soon spirals into mistaken identities, greed and trouble that neither of them appears prepared for.

The new title, Jeevan Ya Bheema Con?, neatly captures the film’s central confusion while giving the crime-comedy an even more playful identity. The question mark at the end says plenty about the story, where nobody seems entirely sure who is fooling whom. With Warsi playing two characters on opposite sides of the chaos, the film has plenty of room for comic situations, unpredictable twists and the kind of deadpan humour the actor has often delivered so well.

The plot gets even messier when diamonds and smuggling enter the picture. The insurance scam becomes just one piece of a much bigger puzzle, bringing danger into Jeevan and Yojana’s already complicated lives. The combination of crime, suspense and dark humour suggests that the film is looking to keep audiences guessing while also finding laughs in the increasingly disastrous situation.

Directed by Abhishek Dogra, the film features a strong supporting cast including Sanjeeda Shaikh, Vijay Raaz, Pooja Chopra, Brijendra Kala and Atul Parchure. Their presence adds another layer to the ensemble, particularly in a story built around deception and mistaken identity. Produced by Anshu Mishra under Starbeam Ventures Ltd, formerly BlueGod Entertainment Ltd, the film is shaping up as an unusual addition to the Hindi comedy-thriller space.

With Jeevan Ya Bheema Con? arriving in theatres on September 4, 2026, Arshad Warsi is betting on a combination of double roles, dark comedy and plenty of criminal chaos. The last-minute title change has only added another talking point around the film, while the promo promises that the confusion is very much intentional. Now, the real question is whether audiences will be able to figure out the con before Jeevan and Bheema pull them deeper into it.
