JioHotstar has dropped the much-awaited teaser of Hunkkaar – The Roar, and the first glimpse promises an intense battle for truth, justice and accountability. Sharing the teaser, the streaming platform wrote, “Nahi hoga insaaf ka intezaar, bas goonjegi sachhai ki Hunkkaar,” setting the tone for a gripping socio-thriller that follows a young woman's fight against a powerful godman. The series will begin streaming exclusively on JioHotstar from September 25, 2026.

At the centre of Hunkkaar – The Roar is Aneet Padda, who plays 17-year-old Meenu Rawat, a young woman whose accusation sets a larger chain of events into motion. The teaser hints at a story where the pursuit of justice is anything but straightforward, with power, influence and institutional pressure creating obstacles at every turn. Fatima Sana Shaikh plays ACP Jasleen Singh Soni, bringing a police perspective into the increasingly complicated case, while Raghubir Yadav appears as a powerful antagonist.
