Mehsana, Aug 29 (SocialNews.XYZ) The energy of young workers, combined with the experience of senior leaders and the use of new technology, is strengthening the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s organisation, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said on Saturday.
Patel was speaking at a BJP training camp for party leaders and workers from Mehsana district at Becharaji, where he emphasised the importance of training in building and strengthening the party organisation.
"Today, the BJP organisation has become stronger through the combination of the energy of young workers, the experience of senior leaders and new technology," Patel said.
He said the party's nationwide public support under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership is backed by the work, discipline, dedication and spirit of service of lakhs of workers.
"The nationwide public trust earned by the BJP under the capable leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has behind it the hard work, discipline, dedication and spirit of service of lakhs of workers," Patel said.
Patel described dedicated and disciplined workers as the foundation of the BJP and said the party had attached importance to the development and training of its workers since the days of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh.
"The meaning of an organisation is not merely the gathering of people, but the strength to move forward through cooperation with one thought, one objective and one direction," he said.
He said training programmes are an important means of preparing workers to understand changing trends in society while maintaining clarity of thought and allowing them to undertake public service more effectively.
"Building workers through training is the most important tool for strengthening the organisation," Patel said.
Referring to the government's approach to development, Patel said: "Prime Minister Modi had shown a path towards taking the benefits of development to the last person through good governance, public participation and saturation."
The training camp was attended by state organisational general secretary and national co-convener of the BJP's training campaign Ratnakarji, state ministers Rushikesh Patel and Pravin Mali, former deputy chief minister Nitin Patel, western-central zone in-charge of the training campaign K C Patel, Mehsana district BJP president Girish Rajgor and district in-charge Bharat Dangar.
Mehsana MP Hari Patel, MLAs, state campaign team member Vijay Pandya, organisational office-bearers, senior party leaders and participating workers were also present.
